What a beautiful house. It comes with everything you need to have a fabulous trip. On the water and very close to town. Owners are fantastic and great to deal with. We are already talking about the next time we come.

This property overall is beautiful. However. The photos of the beach access are completely inaccurate. They have not been updated since 2023, there is no easy beach access, there are large rocks and about a 5 Ft drop. There were exterior cameras on the property, that were not listed on listing at the time of booking, when I brought this up to the property management company, one employee told me they do not work that is why they aren’t listed, but then they added exterior cameras to the listing and lied about it. The property could be better maintained, ie pool tiles loose and dangerous, our AC went out in the middle of the night and it took almost 12 hours to get it fixed. The lines were so clogged they needed a chemical treatment. They had to bring us a lighter just to start the grill, and the oven is a French made oven, we used it one night and it worked just fine, but then it quit working the next time we tried to use. They offered to show us but it was already too late as we weren’t needing to use it again, and there was clearly an issue as it worked the previous evening. One of the bed comforters had dried blood stains on it, and the astroturf smelled like dog urine. Unfortunately I could go on and on. This was all brought to the attention of the property management company and they either minimized the issues or simply ignored them. Unfortunately we were only there for 3 nights and we spent 1 full day dealing with all this. Would not recommend renting.

Thank you for staying at Serendipity Deux. We take every concern seriously, and every message during this stay was answered by our team within two hours. We want future guests to have the full picture. A/C: Our technician was dispatched the morning it was reported and repaired the system the same day. Cameras: The exterior cameras are disclosed in two places on the listing, the Safety section and the property description, and we sent the guest screenshots of both during the stay. There are no cameras inside the home. Beach: The beaches on the north end of Anna Maria Island are protected sea turtle and shorebird habitat. They are not groomed, and tides, storms, and erosion change conditions daily. Oven: The home has a La Cornue range, which operates differently from a standard American range. We offered to send someone to show how it works and to replace the refrigerator filters on the same visit, but the guest declined entry. Grill: We delivered a lighter so the grill could be lit manually. Comforter: Replaced as soon as it was reported. Turf: We offered to clean and deodorize the turf. The guest asked us not to because their pets were using it. Pool: We inspected the pool deck, found one loose tile, and it has since been repaired. When our team followed up, we were told everything was fine. During the stay, the guest requested a refund and said a negative review would follow if one wasn't given. Luxury on the beach

Our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids ages 12, 11 & 8), my 70yr old Mom, as well as my sister & her 11yr old daughter stayed comfortably & happily for a week of Spring Break at Serendipity Deux!! We loved the location, luxurious decor, endless amenities & gracious host, Rick!! Highly recommend!!

Awesome getaway location

This house was clean, check in was easy, and it was beautiful. The house is remarkably detailed in layout and design and comfortably fit eight adults for three nights. The water out front is shallow and perfect for swimming - where was saw numerous manatees and dolphins. The house included coolers, bikes, golf cart, and all of the other amenities needed to enjoy. We were also very close to Pine Ave and the local shopping and restaurants. Would love to go again!

Beautiful Home in Anna Maria

We had a wonderful time in this home in Anna Maria. The 4 king bed bedrooms with private baths were all very comfortable and extremely beautiful! The home had a golf cart and bicycles for our use.There are restaurants, cafes and shops all within walking distance. And of course, the beach is right there!

It could not have been more perfect!

This is a great rental over all! Great location, great place, great host... everything was just perfect. We loved this place and would love to come back very soon! Everything was as promised and then some more. Look no further when looking for a great and affordable location right at the beach!

Great location, right on beach. As described a bit rustic !

Really enjoyed staying at this cottage on the beach. Wonderful location right on small, almost private beach at very North end of the island. Appliances and carpeting a bit « worn » but in general things were clean and as advertised. Nice to have functional washer and dryer on site. Communication was good and repair person came by to check that things were good.

Old Florida charm

Accommodations exactly as described. Very rustic, I loved it 🌞 if you are bothered by room unit a/c, this may be too rustic for you. Owners are great, amenities were great. I will be back.

Great Place

This home worked great for our family. My wife’s parents were with and the elevator made things very easy for the them. Everything was spotless and perfect. We even went fishing with a place on their recommended list and had a blast. Captain Major knew what he was doing! We saw dolphins from the deck and fell sleep to the sound of waves. We will be back.

Beautiful Stay

We had three adult couples staying for our short trip. The house was beautiful and very well maintained. As stated in some of the other reviews, the pictures of the beach access were a tad misleading. There is a large concrete barrier to climb over with not a whole lot of sand area to sit by the water remaining. It didn't change my overall opinion on the property. We still loved the trip and will be recommending to anyone looking to stay in the area. The owner was extremly responsive and such a great help to the few question I had. Loved the property and will definitely stay again!
