Luxury Apartment on the beach for BARGAIN PRICE

In January 2012 we had a wonderfull time in the modern and clean Apartment Nora. The weather is very fine: lots of sunshine and a temparature around 20 degrees. Breakfast on the terrace while in the Netherlands it is freezing cold. It is very quiet in the apartment building and the facilities of the apartment are great. If you want to explore the environment, you need to hire a car. Thanks to the professional guidance of the owners our holiday was a great succes and we will certainly return.

Just What the Doctor Ordered

We've given this a 5 star rating as it was just the kind of holiday that we were looking for this year. Totally relaxing. On the last night it was a full moon directly over the sea and as we sat on the deck in the evening with our glass of wine looking out towards it there was a wonderful silver path of light coming from the horizon directly towards us. It was very special, with nothing interrupting the view between where we were seated and the sea. The location is excellent. Right next to the beach. It is quite pebbly so take some footwear to help entering and leaving the sea. The swimming pool and surrounding area is very good, and only 50m away. We stayed in the Sol apartment on the first floor and there is everything you need for your stay. There's all sorts of random dry goods in the food cupboard (salt, pepper, tea bags, oil etc). Access is via a spiral staircase and even though we are well into our 60's this didn't present us with any problem. The car park is about 20-30m away which has the advantage of making the area clear of vehicles but there are 30 steps from the car park down which to carry your cases. But again, even at our age this was no major problem and made the location that bit more private. The main purpose of our holiday was total relaxation and it was perfect for this. We didn't travel about much, just to Estepona which we really enjoyed. Some people we met in the downstairs apartment were touring about extensively to such as Gibraltar, Rhonda, Cadiz etc. and found it very central for that.

Prachtig appartement met het strand voor de deur. Je loopt zo het zand op. Erg stil en rustig. Wel een locatie waar een auto noodzakelijk is. Geen voorzieningen op loopafstand.

Lovely location.

Property was smaller than we had anticipated but all services as described. Air con looks to have been recently renewed. No issues with WiFi , it was fast and reliable. Views from patio over med were brilliant.

Great beach house

We had a great stay. Lovely place, the beach is great and the apartment was super. A couple of little things that need to be fixed. The one door was broken so we did have the lovely view that we would have had, but over all it was great. You need to have a car to enjoy the city. We went into town every day. Lots to do if you have a car.

Love it would deffinately go back.

We loved the traditional Spanish building, and the location simply perfect , one of the bedrooms was a bit on the small side but did have an en suite, the kitchen/ dinning/ lounge was good, everything was very clean, no bells and whistles, although had everything you needed, would love to go back one day, loved it.

Fantastic

We spent a week there in May. It was fantastic, we loved the seaview from the terrace and from the living room. It has a perfect location for making excursions. The owners are very helpful and they provided lots of materials about the area. The apartment was very clean and fully equipped with everything you need (dishwasher, washmachine etc.) We have been there with 3 kids (age 8,6 and 10 month). They also liked it. They could play in the sand in front of the house with the toys which were in the apartment. It was a relaxing week, we hope to come back again.

Einfach großartig

Apartment Nora ist einfach ein Traum, großzügig geschnitten, direkter Meerblick und alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Die Vermiter sind sehr freundlich, flexibel und hilfsbereit in jeder Situation. Wir hatten zwar etwas Probleme mit dem Strom, aber das lag sicher an der Jahreszeit. Und wenn die Sonne scheint, generiert die Solaranlage auf dem Dach wunderbar warmes Wasser. Ich kann einen Aufenthalt nur empfehlen, Strand, absolute Ruhe und schöne Räumlichkeiten - einfach großartig.

Nice stay at Apartment Lena

We stayed here for 10 days and had a really beautiful holiday. You have an amazing view on the sea. Everything is nearby. The apartment is well equipped and very clean. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Great locations like Gibraltar, Ronda, Tarifa are easy to reach by car.

Wonderful place, true to the description

The communication with the owner is excellent, the apartments and area are exactly as described. In February we had mostly warm sun. This area is a little jewel on a very developed coastline - quiet but with plenty of facilities nearby. The main road is handily nearby but you don't know it once you are on the beach, The beach is lovely, Our small children spent days beach combing for shells and paddling. A lovely fire helped warm the evenings. Apartment Nora was perfect for our family of 4, very well equipped for all needs and the owners make you feel that they are genuinely concerned for your happy holiday. Excellent value for money.

Fantastico!!!

Esattamente come descritto! Casa fantastica pulita e ben arredata; zona tranquilla e molto curata. Il mare é letteralmente a due passi.. Un paradiso! Mr. Wittmann è stato sempre molto disponibile, puntuale e gentilissimo! Si consiglia l'auto perché il centro di Estepona è a un paio di km, comunque il supermercato è vicino e ben rifornito. La vicinanza alla statale permette di spostarsi velocemente anche per visitare città come Gibilterra (a mezz'ora da lì) o paesini tipici come Casares. Vivamente consigliato per famiglie e per chiunque abbia voglia di relax ma anche di cultura e svago. Ottima location anche per gli amanti del Golf.

Perfect hideout

This was our first holiday via homeaway.co.uk and it was the best and most trouble-free vacation for the past ten years. We got what we expected and more. The apartmant is part of a larger villa located in an estate called Bahia Dorada 3, appr. a mile south of Estepona. Very quiet, clean, safe, and the beach really is that close-you can hear the roar of the sea . The apartmant has everything you may need from aircon to wifi even a shower jakuzi. The swimming pool is a minute walk and seemed it is owned by the private estate and is used by the Bahia Dorada residents. That said at any given time max 5-6 people or none used it. The supermarket Mercadona is a two minute drive and highly recomended. I would add that much to our surprise there were hardly any tourists just some local friendly Spanish. The owners are very helpful and reliable no problem contacting them if needed. All in all it is the perfect vacation if what you want is peace, we couldn't bother going in to Estepona or Marbella though they are very close. It was the first time for us in Andalusia and we fell in love with it. Dear Tamas and Timea thanx for this lovely holiday. We will be back that's for sure.

FABULOUS APARTMENT

We have stayed here a couple of times now and we are never disappointed. The apartment is in a great location - right on the beach front. The apartment is very well equipped and nicely furnished and it's certainly a fabulous place to stay for the money. There's plenty of space with the 2 twin/double bedrooms and the 2 bathrooms means there's no fighting for the shower!! Because of the beach-facing patio doors in the lounge, it's great to eat your breakfast with the sun-shining in and hearing the waves on the beach. We will certainly be returning (again).

LOVELY APARTMENT ON A FANTASTIC PLACE

We visit Estepona quite a few times a year to see family but this was the first time we had decided to rent an apartment... and we were extremely happy with the choice we made! The apartment is very well presented, lovely spacious and light rooms with comfortable / contemporary decor, its right on the beach with amazing views from the sitting room. Bahia Dorada is a romantic andalusian little village. We will definitely be going back in a few months, its a wonderful place to stay!

2 families with children

We (7 people) stayed in Nora in the beginning of May for 1 week. It is the perfect place for those who like to have their vacation as close to the sea as can be (we even saw the dolphins from our terrace one morning!), away from busy beaches and/or those with children. You just step out from the apartment to the terrace, grass, sand, sea.... We had a car as we had decided to drive around, too. Although we first worried about the distance (90km from Malaga in darkness with 3 little children), the drive went very quickly (app 45 min) and smoothly in every way. We drove every day to different places, the distance was never a problem. The apartment had everything you need. Even washing machine which is quite inevitable with children; beach toys for children; trolley; highchair; baby cot... you name it. There was anough space in both bedrooms in the sense of wardrobes etc. As we were 2 families, the 2 bathrooms in the apartment were simply super! Arranging the accommodation went very smoothly, as well. The owner replies very quickly to any inquiry and is very helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much and I have already recommended the apartment to my friends. Thank you!

Très bel appartement avec la mer au bout du jardin

La situation de l'appartement était exactement telle que décrite. Entièrement rénové haut de gamme, parfaitement équipé, très bien entretenu, l'appartement est parfait avec 2 chambres et 2 salles de douche. Il fait environ 50 m2 + terrasse privative, il est très dépaysant avec la mer juste devant.. Supérettes à proximité mais voiture obligatoire. Restaurants en ville car en octobre ceux de la plage étaient fermés. Propriétaires et correspondants sur place : très réactifs, efficaces. Nous recommandons cet appartement.

Right by the sea

We - a couple, two small children and me the grandma - spent a week in the 2nd week of June in the apartment. It was wonderful that we were so close to the seashore with no crowd. Everything was new, clean and comfortable. We were so lucky to find this place.

My best holiday in my life!

My wife and I had a wonderful and unforgettable stay in this apartment. At first glance we knew we had selected the perfect place to spend our 7 day vacation this year. The apartment is brand new, the place is very clean and the view to the sea is amazing. This place is really only few meters far from the waves. The apartment and the room was even more amazing than the images on the webpage. It is a perfect oasis of calm and hidden from the busy roads. Heavenly peaceful and relaxing atmosphere and the candlelit dinners were the perfect end to the day. We would highly recommend the apartment for couples or families and we are planning to return for an autumn holiday in the near future.
