Ver las hermosas puestas de sol sobre el río Annisquam desde la cubierta o simplemente disfrutar de las vistas panorámicas durante todo el día de la isla de Pierce, Jones Creek y playa Wingaersheek a distancia. Simplemente espectacular.

Esta casa de la vendimia tiene seis habitaciones en el segundo piso y tiene capacidad para 12 personas. Grandes comer en la cocina con dos zonas de estar. Hay un medio baño fuera de la cocina, y un baño con bañera en el segundo piso. El nivel inferior salir tiene un nuevo baño con ducha y lavandería. Se puede nadar desde la propiedad o disfrute de la comunidad flotar unas pocas casas de distancia. The view from this property was incredible, so relaxing. The house is very old and outdated, in need of some repairs and refresh, but it was enough to accommodate our group since we are close. It is definitely rustic, but had the essentials.

Was a nice cottage-y home. Check-in was a snap. House ready and welcoming. Great deck with tons of seating. Kitchen was huge, plenty of space, had just about anything you needed. Had trouble figuring out how garbage disposal worked, but finally got it. No AC, but owner supplies plenty of fans. Also, attic fan works well. Living room furniture not very comfortable. Great views of River. Parkkng was very adequate. Gas grill worked well. Only one indoor shower. The second is outdoors and not private. We enjoyed the house.

Get Vacation house

I’ve stayed at this house before, it’s a simple beautiful property. The deck has always been a highlight of the stay. The Owner of the house was very accommodating, and answered any questions we had. Extremely kind and helpful and went over and beyond to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Great place to bring family and enjoy the view.

Great stay for the week. Awesome views from the double decker deck. Very quiet area for relaxation away. The only slight inconvenience was the bathroom shower was in the lower level while only a tub bathroom on the same level as the bedrooms. The tub worked out great though for the grandkids. Will stay here again!

To experience what Cape Ann has to offer, you only need to sit on the back deck and watch the tide go in and out and the daily parade of boats.

We had a great time. The host was easy to communicate with. The only thing we ran into that caused an issue was that the house doesn't have A/C and it was very hot and humid the first few days of our stay. The house has plenty of fans, but we had a few nights going to bed with the house temp over 75 degrees. Overall, a neat place with a great view.

Beautiful views

This property has beautiful views of the Annisquam River and a lovely, large porch from which to view them from. Our granddaughter enjoyed very much going down to the docks and walking on the sandbars at low tide. Maureen responded promptly to our questions and was accommodating.

Great Vibes

My husband and I, our daughter, and two grandchildren had a wonderful time. The home is warm and inviting with lots of charm and spectacular views. The host has thought of everything- there was nothing we could not find that we needed. The home was very clean. Ours was a rather short visit but we packed a lot in. We spent time in Gloucester, Salem, Rockport, and Boston. After a full day enjoyed coming back to the welcoming home. We all slept soundly- the beds are very comfortable. We would love to come back again maybe in summer when we’d focus on water activities and spending more time on the expansive deck.

Wonderful getaway

The house is over 100 years old, but, very comfortable and cozy. Natural wood work. Gorgeous views. Very relaxing. Our group is already looking forward to staying here again.

Rustic Family Home with gorgeous river view

Our family gathered for a celebration of life for a woman who spent many years on the Annisquam River. Because we were all from out of state we needed a large place to accommodate 10 adults and 2 children. This house worked for us because it had enough sleeping space for all and had a dock on the river. The biggest drawback was that it only had a single shower. All the bedrooms were on the second floor and might be problematic for folks with mobility issues. Likewise the stairs to the dock were uneven but the view was well worth traversing the terrain. The house was dated but that was part of the charm.

Relaxation with a view

Perfect Family Getaway

Plenty of space for 8 adults and one toddler. The deck was a perfect place to relax and an excellent play space for our little one. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. We also enjoyed swimming in the river.

The property title tells it all

No need to hit the beaches, everything is in your backyard. We brought inflatable kayaks which enhanced our time in and on the water. Watching the daily parade of pleasure and commercial boats was fun. A great location which is minutes from the center of Glocester and a short drive to Rockport. Can not wait to go back next year, There is no A/C, but there are plenty of fans.

Great location that’s like an old beach house

We had a fantastic time here in what reminds me of an old school beach house, which is the best. Plenty of beds, lots of seats for meals, and a great location. Loved it!

Great experience!

We loved our time here. The view from the deck can’t be beat. We walked out to the sandbars during low tide and rented paddle boards to use everyday right from the dock. It’s an older home and definitely feels like it, yet all important amenities are provided and work well. Host was very quick to respond to communications. We hope to stay again sometime!

Each of the 3 Years Has Been a Charm

Notwithstanding the 72 hours of rain and wind averaging 20 mph with gusts to 35, we enjoyed our visit. We spent more time at the house this year vs going out and about, appreciating the well appointed kitchen, the large tables we gathered around playing games . WIFI and cable was dependable. We remained warm and dry. We did miss sitting out on the decks in the sunshine, watching the boat traffic and the changing landscape (due to tides) but maybe next year!

Fabulous home

Charming river front home with all the amenities. The view off the balconies was beautiful. We enjoyed our morning coffee sitting outside and watching the boats. The street was quiet. Highly recommend staying here when visiting this area. It was close to everything we wanted to see.

Perfect place to gather family and friends. Comfortable, vintage summer home. You will feel like you are stepping into the past, but have all you need for an enjoyable stay.

The house is situated up high, some of us (older folks) simply enjoy sitting on the deck to talk and talk and talk while watching the activities on the river.Other guests might swim, kayak or just enjoy water activities. There is plenty to do locally. Whale watching, boating, great beaches, night life, museums, shops, and great restaurants.
