The Station Lodge, Filey. Sleeps 12

Station Lodge underwent an extensive renovation and was made available for it's first guests in August 2020. This property in the heart of Filey has been lovingly restored with both practicality and quality at the forefront. There are 5 bedrooms, comfortably sleeping 12 guests. There is a brand new kitchen with granite worktops and a lovely outdoor dining and BBQ area. There are smart TVs in each room (including Netflix) and superfast WiFi available. This is a special place for family and friends alike. As mentioned, we have made sure that quality has been a major factor in the renovation work and have therefore included brand new bathrooms, a brand new kitchen and a spiral staircase leading to a loft bedroom with en-suite.

Great stay

Our stay was really lovely, comfy and cosy. Our host, Kay, was brilliant and we would all recommend staying at Station Lodge. We hope to be back at some point in the future.

Wonderful property and helpful host

Our stay at the property was wonderful. The property is beautiful and very well equipped with high quality equipment. Lovely central location. Parking was a little tricky initially but we worked it out eventually. We were lucky with the weather and kids even managed a surf lesson at Scarborough.

Fantastic stay at fantastic property

The Station Lodge was everything we wanted and more. The house was perfect! It was super clean, cosy yet spacious, brilliantly situated for the town and beach, and better stocked than my own home...it had everything! The house was even decorated for Christmas which was a lovely touch for our festive stay. Kay was a fantastic host and extremely helpful when we left some items at the property. I would 100% recommend staying here.

Loved our stay. We enjoyed being in such a nice house. Brilliant hosts.

Our hosts had gone to so much trouble to help us celebrate my dad’s 75th birthday leaving little messages and decorating bits of the house. It felt very special. We were afforded and earlier check in and later check out thanks to their thoughtfulness. All very smooth. The property itself is amazing and though we enjoyed exploring Filey, our best times were indoors with all the family. Highly recommend.

Perfect family setting

We really enjoyed staying at Kay’s house- the place is lovely, very comfortable and clean with plenty of space for everyone. We were a party of 9 - 4 adults and 5 kids aged 5 to 14. Each room was full of lovely touches and thoughtfully designed. The location is perfect for walking to the beach or into town, and parking was never an issue. We loved visiting Filey but also Scarborough to take in the glorious views. We would have loved to have stayed a second week! Maybe next time :-) Thank you Kay!

Amazing

We had a lovely weekend with family for my mother in laws 70th birthday. Stunning house with everything you could want! Great location and bonus of a lovely local pub over the road.

25th wedding anniversary

18 station lodge is a fantastic place to stay situated close to all amenities. The house is beautifully decorated and well equipped. The back yard and bbq are an asset to the house. We all really enjoyed exploring the town and sea front. Would highly recommend it

Beautiful, large property with wonderful owners

My 3 sons, sister, 2 nieces, Mum, dog and (eventually) husband stayed here for half term week and it was marvellous. The decor is beautifully classy and the house has a really luxurious feel with all mod cons. Comfortable beds, lots of room for children and a great paved garden area with bbq and lots of tanles/seating. It's about 10 minutes walk to the beach and perfectly situated for shopping at Tesco and trying out all the local pubs and restaurants. There's no parking but plenty on the local roads, even though we had 4 cars between us. The really amazing thing about this property was the owners. Communication was always helpful, friendly and they literally couldn't do enough. There were one or two issues but they were resolved quickly and happily. A pleasure to deal with. We would definitely visit again.
