My Mom had emergency brain surgery at Holmes Medical Center. This vrbo was only 15 minutes from the hospital and it provided us a comfortable and safe place to stay while she was recovering. It was clean, spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The host was extremely easy to work with and was very responsive. I would definitely recommend this Vrbo.

Comfortable stay

The host is very quick to respond and super nice! Overall, our stay was comfortable enough for our trip purpose, which was baseball World Series. It’s conveniently located to the USSSA baseball complex. The house and furniture are in need of some maintenance and updating but it was overall good for the price we paid.

Comfortable but dated

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need to have for a week long visit. The furniture was very dated and we had to put pillows underneath us to sit on the couches. My parents who are in their 70s had difficulty getting up and down on sofas. Also, there are two areas that you have to step down into the next room or step up. They are unexpected and we all tripped on them once or twice. The neighborhood is OK. Also, there is a train about a block and a half away and you hear that throughout the day and night. It mostly can be drowned out with an noisemaker. The host, Rebecca was very attentive and answered right away when we had questions.

Mostly good but the furniture in the living room was hard for older people to get off of the beds were comfortable and loved the hot water and pressure in the shower also location was great easy to get around where we wanted to go

Great House

The picture on VRBO make the house look small but it’s bigger than that. We enjoyed the screened in porch. The beds were not bad at all! I highly recommend this house! Close to restaurants and the beach!

Avoid at all cost

If I could leave a negative star review I would. One star is still too much. This place is worth much less a night. Maybe even free. Firstly, when checking in the key wasn’t where she said it would be. I had to call her and go through the back yard to get inside. I got inside and the stench of cigarettes is very strong. I got inside further, tried to use the restroom. The ground was still wet from someone showering. There was pee on the toilet seat and feces inside the toilet still. It was very very obvious no one cleaned before I arrived. I messaged the property owner and she said someone did come clean but that was not true whatsoever. This place smells bad and is dirty. I left after an hour in a half. Do not waste your money. The neighborhood it’s in, isn’t nice. The outside looks very outdated and ugly. I left and explained to her everything that happened, and she got defensive and solved nothing. She knew my husband just deployed and I wanted to take my kids to the ocean. She cares about money and money only. Not your experience. VRBO explained I wasn’t the first person to complain about the cleanliness or the smell. When she got defensive she said we in fact left the house dirty and dug a hole in the backyard. (🙄). She lacked integrity. Avoid this house. Pay the extra money to stay in a good area and home. The fee for cleaning should be given to the renter for having to stay in a such a greasy old dirty house. Again, I stayed there one hour in a half. The half hour was packing. She refused a refund and had very ugly customer service. I wouldn’t want my worst enemy renting this home.

Nice affordable stay

Really enjoyed our stay and would be happy to stay again. Had a little bit of confusion getting in because Vrbo sent an email that was slightly different than the property owner but the owner was very friendly and helpful and resolved the issue promptly. We would recommend this place with two thumbs up.

It was fine

The house was in a good location - close to everything we needed. There was lots of room and it was clean. The mattresses were memory form - you either love them or hate them. There was an underlying cigarette smoke smell that was bothersome for me. I borrowed a diffuser from my daughter and that helped. Some rooms were better than others. Overall, a good place to stay.

Super bargain

This was our first time in a vacation rental and this was great! The owner was very helpful, the house was nice and clean, and in an easy location to get to places and return to. We visited my brother in the area and will use it again when we come back to visit him.
