Casa victoriana recientemente renovada, en el corazón de Highlands / Germantown, cuenta con comodidades modernas y comodidades combinadas con un estilo vintage. La ubicación está a aproximadamente 15 minutos de Churchill Downs, a 2 minutos del centro de Louisville, a 10 minutos a pie de Bardstown Rd, tiendas y restaurantes / bares. Este lujoso y bien equipado apartamento cuenta con 1200 pies cuadrados, cocina gourmet, 2 baños completos, 1 gran suite principal con closet completo, una sala de estar con un sofá cama tamaño queen y un armario. Very clean and spacious condo. We had the entire first floor to ourselves. It was a quick 10 minute drive from downtown. Communication and check in with the host was carefree and effortless. The backyard looked great but did not use since it was the middle of winter. Glad we booked!

The 1 star for the pool, was because there is no Pool, and never read anything about a pool.We enjoyed our Thanksgiving there. Friendly neighbors around and pretty quiet area. Many stores are a 5 to 10 min walk, and the place was very comfortable. Great communication with the host when we needed them. Good Job and Thank you

We went for the State Fair which was disappointing. However are stay was wonderful. The house was in a great location. Close to most everything else we did while there. Nice qiute neighborhood, clean comfortable house. We will be back to due a bourbon trail and this will be the place we book. Karen was easy to communicate with and very responsive.

Great location and HVAC System

We have stayed at this property multiple times since we had family move to Louisville from Minnesota. We always appreciate the fast communication with Karen. With the hot temperatures of Louisville, we especially appreciated the air conditioning!Will return for sure!

Great Location

In town to attend our nephews' graduation. The location was close to downtown. Ubered everywhere. We had a quick turnaround, but have this place earmarked for my next visit to Louisville.

Paristown weekend

Stayed here for a music event at the Paristown venue. Quick walk from our well equipped. Had everything you would need and the owner was very helpful when our travel plans changed.

7 Day Birthday Staycation

I can say without a doubt that I would definitely book this property again, as short-lived as it may have felt, i thoroughly enjoyed my stay. From the beautiful and homely interior to the ideal location for finding interesting things to do, it was perfect. As a native from louisville kentucky, I can say this property is ideal for anyone looking to explore and experience louisville seeing as there are many great places to go with some of them close by and most being not too far out. Personally I enjoyed most of my stay within the property cooking and relaxing. Although I did have a number of reservations made prior and a list of places I planned to visit, which made the location of this property all the more perfect seeing as all of which were within a 10-15 minute range. All in all I will definitely be recommending this place to family and acquaintances.

Great house for couple in quiet but vibrant neighborhood

Great property, convenient to downtown and nightlife a block away. Worked well for my husband and i. But it could easily work for two couples or a family of four with the pull-out sofa in living room. Nice to have two full bathrooms. Beautiful backyard. Comfortable beds. Kitchen was well equipped.

Short visit in Louisville for Eclipse

We had a great stay at this property. The location was great. We could easily walk to a lot of neat restaurants and shops. The procedures for check in and check out were easy. Having the off street parking spot in the rear of the property was very convenient. We would stay here again if we are in the area for another visit.

I never received check in information for the stay, now the host and VRBO are both giving me a run around for a refund. I’ve stayed with VRBO several times and this has never happened.

Louisville Germantown

Wow! Location is excellent, close to many restaurants and downtown. Great little "Cheers" bar just down the street, and a wonderful bakery just a block away! Karen and Ken are super landlords and live next door. They are a wealth of knowledge about the area. We were having a problem connecting one of the TV's they came over immediately and got it fixed. We would definitely stay there again. this was our 8th year spending a month at an VRBO and this was the best!!!

Great house, hosts, and location

The accommodations were exactly as indicated, very clean and within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Check-in went smoothly. We were able to park 2 cars in front of the house. We'll definitely return!

Great stay!

This is such a roomy, comfy apartment. Close to everything and very walkable. Also surprisingly quiet for being so close to things. The code to the lockbox was incorrect in the VRBO platform so we got stuck in the cold for a little bit, but the agent was quick to return my call with the correct code.

Post Christmas Getaway

My family and I enjoyed two nights at this property. We walked down to the outdoor ice skating rink and visited many of the vintage/thrift shops that were within walking distance. We drove to Lights under Louisville and were impressed by the beautiful display of Christmas lights. One minor critique of the area is that some people may feel a bit unsafe in the seedier parts of the neighborhood that were littered with trash, clothes, and abandoned buildings, especially if they are not used to or familiar with the area.The area seemed to be in a transition between what used to be and what is to come. Everyone that we interacted with was kind and helpful and the property that we stayed in was clean and matched the description.

My husband and I have lived in this neighborhood since 1997. I was born in Louisville and my husband grew up in California. I am a retired nurse now realtor and my husband is a general contractor and has been doing home renovations since 2007.
We both graduated from the University of Louisville. We started our home sharing adventure in May of 2017 and have absolutely loved meeting people from all over the country. We would love to host people from other countries too. Everyone we have met has been so considerate and come visit for a variety of reasons from KY Derby to sporting events to just wanting to meet up with old friends. Let us know why you are coming to visit and we will try to accommodate and enhance your stay.

Our house is in the most desirable neighborhood in Louisville. It is close to everything cool and still has that old school neighborhood feel! It is the pulse of the city. All of the best local restaurants and bars within walking distance. We are close to Bardstown Rd, Downtown, The Convention Center, The Ky Expo Center, Waterfront Park, University of Louisville and Churchill Downs. Great for active seniors looking for 1st floor living!

We're right next door so we can respond quickly to any needs. We're happy to help!

Close to everything fun and exciting but offers a close knit neighborhood feel.
