Great apartment and clean. We had 4 adults and although a little tight, we made it work. Great communication with host and gentleman we met to get the keys. It is VERY noisy at night. Streets are lined with party goers each night. Although windows do a good job of drowning it out, it is still loud. Location is great for exploring the area.

Great location in the heart of old Lisbon. Many restaurants and bars. Quite loud at night but the windows were very sound proof. Highly recommend!

Perfect location, cozy apartment, close to many restaurants and bars. The windows do an amazing job at noise insulation so you’ll be able to sleep like a baby despite the nighttime noise. It did not affect us at all. Walking distance to everything, big grocery store across the street. The hosts are friendly and were always available. I would 100% return to this apartment on my next visit to Lisbon.

Nice apartment, clean, well furnished, and kitchen well equipped, Great location for walk ability to most areas of interest in Lisbon. Would only note that the noise quotient was significant after 10 PM due to the numerous nightclubs surrounding the accommodation. To their credit, the owner has installed noise canceling drapes as well as windowdoors, but you will definitely need the earplugs as well.

We had an amazing time in Lisbon. Luís and Pedro were really communicative and helpful. The location of the apartment was perfect- we walked all over the area and explored. The food rec was excellent. There are bars below the apartment and you do hear people and music late into the night but they’ve done a great job sound proofing and it really wasn’t that bad. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed.

This was the first time we've stayed in a place where it was so noisy at night that the host provided ear plugs. Although it was not disclosed in the listing, this property is right above a nightclub that plays music until 2:00 am (3:00am on the weekends). In fact, the entire block is filled with bars, and the partying is ongoing on the streets until an hour after closing time. We followed the hosts instructions in the apartment instructions to: close the windows (that are "soundproof double glazing") as well as the wooden shutters, and the heavy floor-to-ceiling curtains. Doing so did mute most - though not all - of the noise. But we were there during a warm week in August. With every window sealed up, the apartment got quite stuffy and hot during the night. If you are coming to Lisbon for the all-night partying, this place would be great. If you prefer a good nights sleep.... not-so-much.

Excellent apartment in Lisbon

This lovely apartment is located in an area with many bars and restaurants and at walking distance from most of Lisbon attractions (public transportation is a few blocks away). The apartment has everything you may need to enjoy a nice stay at Lisbon. By the way, Luis and Pedro (our hosts) responded immediately to any posted query. In short, this is an outstanding apartment to stay if you decided to visit Lisbon, a city worth more than a trip.

Cute & Cozy Apartment

Great location in the Barrio Alto area. Luis & Pedro have great communication and wonderful to deal with. Easy to get around Lisbon from there. 10 minute walk downhill to the waterfront. Lots of great walkable restaurants in the area. It is noisy in the evening as you are close to the Barrio Alto nightlife but with the windows shut it is quite quiet. And after a day of adventuring you will sleep well in the comfy beds.
