Al salir de las arenas blancas y las tranquilas aguas turquesas de la bahía de Maho, recorre una carretera de montaña del parque nacional rodeada de imponentes palmeras y otra vegetación exuberante. A 1000 pies asciende un empinado camino privado y contempla una hermosa villa caribeña que se abre a vistas espectaculares; Has llegado a Ixora.
Ixora es la antigua casa del fallecido autor e historiador Stephen Ambrose. La serie de HBO Band of Brothers se basó en su libro.
Su sensación de asombro mejorará aún más a medida que ingrese a Ixora y explore esta hermosa y privada casa de lujo de 5 dormitorios y 4 baños. Ixora consta de 3 edificios de estilo tradicional conectados por cubiertas, pasillos de azulejos y un patio con jardín.
Una piscina de 60 pies, rodeada por una cubierta de 75 pies, un cenador, abundantes muebles de terraza y vistas impresionantes brindan un encantador patio durante el día. Por la noche, las luces del sitio de bajo voltaje, la vista impresionante, la privacidad tranquila y la legendaria luz de la luna caribeña se combinan para producir un ambiente nocturno irresistiblemente romántico, tranquilo y relajante.

The property manager met us in town and drove ahead to the house, a welcome introduction to St. John's roads. The house is comfortable and well situated for all the activities on Coral Bay side of the island as well as Maho Beach. The pool was perfect for doing laps on rainy days.

We greatly enjoyed our stay. We loved the layout of the three buildings to allow for space and privacy for our large family. We were traveling with 5 young children and felt safe with great visibility of the pool. The views were better than the lookout points we visited. Rent a vehicle that can handle the steep driveway. Staying so close to our favorite beaches made for guaranteed parking and easier mornings.

Two families with 6 total people for a spring break trip. The house is a great layout with 2 separate buildings with bedrooms and one common space with living room and kitchen. The location was perfect with easy access to the North Shore beaches, coral bay and hiking. The views were as described and oictured…stunning. Our disappointments were the lack of A/C and hot tub. While there is a constant breeze and fans available, the humidity and bugs were a constant problem. Be prepared to hear cars on Centerline Road. This was not a big issue but with being on the hill, we weren’t expecting to hear the traffic. Over all the villa was part of a magical week in St John for our crew.

February Stay at Ixora

Excellent property, the pool and hot tub were a plus. The villa was clean and had plenty of accommodations. The location is perfect and all parts of the island are within a short drive. We were very happy with the communication prior to the visit and the check-in process.

Wonderful week at Ixora

Our fourth stay at Ixora with our family was every bit as lovely as the previous ones. Amazing spot on Ajax Peak, convenient to great beaches. House works very well for us and grown children, now with grandkids too. Already planning our next trip.

Second Stay at Ixora

Our second stay at this property and we thoroughly enjoyed it once again. Love that view and the set up of the property. It is great for a group of people to spread out and have their own space. Would definitely stay here again. The deck is amazing!

Majestic and Serene Setting

This house exceeded all expectations from the views, the pool, hottub and the beach chairs and convenience of location mid island with a very short trip to the beaches. We loved every minute of our very comfortable stay. Also, the beds were so comfortable and private- away from the main house made our sleep so refreshing. Thanks for allowing us to stay in your island dream.

We loved every part of our stay here. The sleeping areas being separate from the kitchen/living room was perfect for our group to be able to retire to quite while other people enjoyed the pool at night. There was ample room for our group of six but plenty of space for more. Everything was clean and updated. Our host was attentive and helpful and we had everything we needed. The washing machine and 2 dryers made it easier to pack for the trip as we could wash clothes on the go. The views were beautiful and the view from the top of the hill kept things reasonable cool at night. We loved every second of this house and would stay again on our next island visit. The driveway is a bit steep so make sure you have a good jeep.

It was the best family vacation!

It’s was the perfect house for all 10 of my family. The location was great we could easily get anywhere we wanted. We didn’t lack for anything. JP was wonderful checked on us throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this property for anyone.

As good as it looks

We went to St. John as a group of two families and had a great one week stay at Ixora. What you see in the pictures is what you get, the property is fantastic and the views are incredible. The managing company does a really good job, are responsive, and are there for the guest if any need arises. Overall, a great vacation for us.

Great stay at Villa Ixora!

This property is perfectly located with beautiful views and easy access to the best beaches. The rooms and living area gave us everything we needed. The property was well stocked with beach towels, beach bags, beach chairs, etc. There was no air conditioning but plenty of breeze and we were more than comfortable. We hope to come back again!

Wonderful Summer Stay

Property is beautiful and as described. Everything was there that we needed for cooking and trips to the beach. We kept the windows open for a constant cool breeze during warm evenings. Experienced some bug bites indoors. Overall was a very enjoyable stay. The views, pool and landscaping are amazing.
