A taste of Manteo with a great view!

Myself, my husband and two close friends thought this place was the perfect accommodation for our long weekend getaway… being right in downtown Manteo we could walk the town and enjoy the beautiful shops and restaurants.the best view on the harbor side deck! Very clean and nice!

Not just about location

There are countless reviews raving about the location of this property and they are all accurate. HOWEVER, you can check into any fleabag hotel and have your bed made and towels hanging in the bathroom when you arrive. NOT HERE! We were unaware of this unusual policy and after a long day of traveling and entertainment we find that we have to make our bed. Not only did we have to make our own beds, but we were also required to participate as housekeeping by washing sheets and towels before leaving. It's not like the place was a bargain! Not renting there again, it was our fourth rental in Manteo for the same music festival and by far the biggest disappointment.

Great Location and Beautiful View

This condo is in the heart of the historic district of Manteo with a beautiful view of the marina. It is close to restaurants, shops and Festival Park. The condo itself was clean and kitchen well stocked with everything you would need. We would definitely stay here again when in Manteo.

Great location/ beautiful water view

Lovely condo in the heart of historic Manteo. Great balcony with water view. A little bit of footwork on checking in but clear directions from host. I will be back!

Very Enjoyable!

Our unit was on the second floor overlooking the marina and sound! The unit was very clean and very welcoming. Great location in town close to restaurants, bars and stores. Would highly recommend this unit.

We enjoyed our stay at your location. The private parking was wonderful and we felt very safe in the unit. It was central to all the activities we wanted to do. The bedrooms were great. We were unaware that the bathrooms did not have any bath soap to use, so we ended up buying our own. We were also unaware that we had to wash and dry all the towels we used. The dryer took forever to dry so this delayed our leaving time a bit. The kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed. Connecting to the WiFi was a problem because the codes that were given to use in our check-in code was not the correct code. But we contacted the host and he told us where to find the new codes. Overall this was a good experience!

Great stay in Mateo!

Perfect location for a week away on the water. We had a great time walking through Manteo with a short drive to the beach and Jockey’s Ridge. Walking distance from Roanoke Island Park, close to restaurants and activities for our family of 4.

Very Comfortable stay in Manteo!

Well appointed, very comfortable furnishings in a quiet building with lovely views of the marina! The elevator made moving in and out easy, and having a dedicated, covered parking space in Manteo is a plus!

Great location

Great place, highly recommend. Was missing a few beach things but never fear, we bought an umbrella and some boogie boards and left them for everyone to enjoy. Checking out was the only negative, had to catch an early plane in Norfolk and didn't realize we had to wash and fold our own bed sheets.

Our first time visiting Manteo

We enjoyed our stay in Manteo and the daytrips to visit the OBX. Michael's property has a stunning harbor view, and was clean and spacious. We would stay there again if our future travels take us to the OBX. Only comment we would make is the air conditioning seemed to strain to cool the back BR with the king-size bed and harbor view. Also the front doorlatch took some learning but we mastered it fairly quickly.

What a beautiful property! The views are breath taking....the pictures do not do it justice! The location was right on the Manteo waterfront. We had everything we could possibly need in this beautiful, comfortable condo. I can't wait to come back!

Girls Vacation

Perfect location in downtown Manteo on the waterfront. Great views of the marina and lovely balcony was perfect for morning coffee and an evening glass of wine with the moonlight on the water. Parking spot was convenient in the garage under the condo, literally across from the elevator. Felt very safe where we were. Clean bathrooms and tidy living room. Beds were comfortable. Had a nice kitchen with cooking amenities, which we did use everyday. Close to shops, water activities and everywhere we wanted to go was within a 20 minute drive. The Saturday morning community/farmer’s market was across the street and a good variety of vendors, worth checking out. Would definitely stay here again!

A Lovely Vacation Home

The directions to check in were unclear. Once that was resolved, all was smooth. The location was very nice—quiet, scenic, and charming. The condo was homey, adequate, and filled all our needs. We’re very grateful to have found this and we think visitors who are looking for a place to unwind and relax will love it. At the same, time there are lots of things to do as well.

Great place

Best place we have stayed in while in Manteo. Close to downtown. Nicely decorated. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils, cookware, etc. Elevator is a bonus. Would definitely book here again.

Perfect Stay

The property was a welcome surprise. It is impeccably clean, comfortable and has an overall warm and relaxing feeling. It has everything you need to feel at home. The Lost Colony Tavern is across the street and was perfect for our early evening dinners. Very enjoyable, great atmosphere and good food. We would definitely stay at this property again.

Manteo New Year's Get-Away

This is our 2nd year at this property during the end of the year and New years. We celebrate my wife's birthday on the 31st and then New Year's. Great property! Very well equipped! Great location! Great view of fireworks! Manteo outdid themselves! We hope to make this an annual event for our family and friends. Availability of the shopping carts for luggage back and forth is a great idea and really helped. Thanks for the hospitality. Would love to make arrangements for 2024. Thanks! Bill & Cindy

Another lovely stay!

This trip was our second stay in this property. The property is very clean and has amazing view of the harbor. The property is within a short walk of several restaurants, a brewery, a wine bar and a movie theater. We plan to return in the spring. Great owners! A+!

Lots of positives with one very big negative

This is a great condo—well decorated and comfortable with amazing views! However, I ran into an issue with the policy that directs guests to launder the sheets and towels before departing…as in someone before me skipped the laundering part. The owner was very responsive to the issue, which I appreciate, but I have to say, this policy needs to be rethought. I DID launder the sheets and towels before I departed (after laundering them at the beginning of my stay as well) and it took three hours. With a long 6 hour trip ahead of me, waiting around for laundry to finish was very inconvenient. Master bath shower also had a lot of mold.
