Gorgeous little apartment which had just enough for a comfortable holiday. Stunning location and so quiet which for our family, we appreciate tranquility. We even got to see a red squirrel running around the grounds. The host was friendly and welcoming. Perfect.

Excellent property with secure onsite parking. Our apartment was exactly as in the description, very clean. When we had a problem the owner was extremely helpful and sorted it immediately. He was very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely book here again.

Comfortable peaceful location

Booked very last minute, two days before and we were very impressed on arrival. Have family living on island but have never ventured over to this lovely location. Apartment very clean and comfortable. Lovely and warm and had a lovely feel to the whole house. Greated by the owner and then left to our own devises but always felt they were available if required. Such a peaceful surrounding, just what we needed to unwind. Definitely need a car but would certainly return. Even though it was the Easter weekend the area was quiet, unlike the resorts a bit further afield.

Flat 3 review

The photos do not do Flat 3 justice. I it is bigger than suggested. It has a lovely view from the garden and in located in a quiet area of Ventnor. The dishwasher was an unexpected bonus.

Top quality stay

The property was very good both clean and with every thing we needed. The owners were very helpful and when we had a personal problem they came to our aid. We had a great time there.

Beautiful apartment in stunning location. Well equipped. Hosts always quick to respond and very helpful. Great location on coastal path. An all-round terrific experience. I highly recommend this property.

FACILITIES AND AREA

The property was excellent. The pictures do not do it justice. We stayed in Flat 4 a small 1 bedroom flat which was actually not that small. Very well appointed garden with views over the sea, but not direct access from the flat as we were on the first floor. This sounds like negatives but really isn't. Very well equipped kitchen. The bathroom was no more or less than you would want, just one thing that could be provided is a towel rail for bath towels. Perhaps move the toilet roll holder nearer the toilet and then the towel rail would fit on the wall facing the shower. All in all an excellent property in an excellent area.

Stunning location

Beautiful gardens, with views to the sea. We stayed in an apartment in the main house. All you could need in the kitchen. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable sofa bed in the lounge. Hosts Bryce and Suzanne were charming, friendly and helpful. If cycling and not so fit, I’d recommend hiring an electric bike, it is extremely hilly. It’s an easy walk to the Botanic Gardens at Ventnor. Steephill Cove is quaint and a great place for a coffee and lunch. Nearby Woody Bay is a pleasant walk. A lovely cycle ride to the Buddle Inn at Niton and the nearby St Catherine’s lighthouse. People were so friendly and helpful. Our stay at Woodcliff was a perfect, get away from it all, relaxing holiday. Was sad to leave...

Cosy and clean base for exploring the island

We found the studio apartment was in a great location to enable us to explore the island. It was clean, well kept and we were made very welcome when we arrived. Space was limited in the bedroom but we were aware of this when we booked. Our only concerns were the lack of window (although the view would only have been the other apartments) and having only two small hand towels (if booking bring your own!) Otherwise we had no complaints and loved the walks locally. The oportunity to go to the botanical gardens with complimentsry tickets courtesy of the owner, was a nice touch.

Great place to stay!

I loved the place! The period feel of it from the outside and I absolutely loved our little apartment. So peaceful, with an amazing Seaview from the garden! Recommend it so so much!

The Studio

Lovely quiet area even when people are around you. Great location for walking and cycling as many paths nearby. Very obliging proprietor who appreciates being told if anything is missing etc, and will rectify quite quickly. Accommodation is clean, cosy and roomy enough for a couple. Local family members were impressed when over for dinner and will be recommending as somewhere to stay.

Holiday near Ventnor

Nice location and pleasant accommodation. Wasp nest by car parking area which needs addressing. Would consider staying again if returning to Isle of Wight. Nice and quiet and reasonable distance from all points on island.
