Comfortable stay in a great location

This apartment is inside the city walls between the Minster and the Shambles, on a street lined with a great variety of shops and restaurants and is zoned pedestrian during the day. The place is spotlessly clean and very comfortable, has everything you might need, and there is plenty of space for everyone to spread out and not feel on top of each other. We walked everywhere and could have walked to the train station in about 15 minutes but took a cab for convenience with our bags. The Mad Alice ghost tour is a must, as well as walking the city walls, and we enjoyed dining at Drake's Fish and Chips and the Old White Swan, those were good recs from Ben. No complaints!

Perfect Accommodation

We had a wonderful stay at Hunter House. The location could not be any better. We were right in the middle of everything you could want to do. Restaurants, shopping, attractions, the Shambles, were all within walking distance. Hunter House was very clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable, safe and welcoming. It looks exactly as pictured and described. Communication with the Ben, the host, was excellent. He was very nice to work with and he was extremely detailed with information regarding our arrival, our stay, and departure. It's evident that they appreciate the people who are visiting and care about you enjoying your stay. We were a group of 4 adults, and this was our first trip outside of the States. We had an amazing experience and Hunter House was absolutely perfect!! A Highly recommend and we will be back!

Beautiful exactly as seen on the website. Spolessly clean and very comfortable. Everything one needs

We styed in the apartment for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. We were so accessible to all amenities- Tesco express came in useful for those little things like tea, milk etc. The lounge was comfortable and perfect nights sleep in the very relaxing bedrooms. Could do with a chair in the yellow room like the one in the blue room. Otherwise everything you could want is there.

Fantastic

Loved our stay at Hunter House. Wonderful location in the centre of York. Property is very comfortable and is really well designed and decorated. Owner/property manager was really helpful. When we next return to York we would definitely want to stay here.

Amazing, Modern, spacious ,clean, well located apartment, close to all historic locations. Every restaurant you could wish for in walking distance and lots of local public houses. A lot of thought has gone into the refurbishment of this apartment. We will be back. Thank you!!

Perfect Location - Comfortable Flat - All we needed for a wonderful vacation.

This apartment was perfect. Clean, comfortable, everything we needed to have a central point to visit this historic city and the surrounding area from. It must have just recently been refurbished. It was lovely!

Excellent communication and very accommodating of unorganized travelers! Your apartment was lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Easy access from the train station, The Minster and The Shambles. We had a great walk along the city wall. Absolutely perfect.

Very Nice Property - Well Set Up and Maintained

Ben met us at the apartment when we arrived in York. He was very welcoming and made sure that we were settled. Everything was very clean and tasteful. We also had plenty of room for a family of four with two teenage boys. We really appreciated the large map of York on the kitchen wall. We could review that to get our bearings before our trips in town. The boys were quite pleased with the selection of movies available. The apartment has some toys for young children and movies for the younger set as well. If you are looking to stay in York, we would definitely recommend this place!

Fantastic

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at this beautiful home. Loved the views from the little step out balcony. It was perfect for our party of four. Very comfortable beds which is always so important to us. So nice to have the basic necessities there when we arrived. Ben was a pleasure to meet and explained everything to us. Ben, your photography is beautiful and as we walked around York it was fun to point to your pictures and say "been there, seen that".

Location, location, location!

The perfect place to stay at York! Well equipied, clean, cosy and with fantastic vieus! Despite the floods we spent 4 wonderful days. The city is spectacular. Ben was very kind and helpful. We recommend this place ever!

We were very happy to have chosen this Centurion Square apartment for our stay in York and my only disappointment was that it was only 2 nights! (York is such a charming town) This apartment was safe and secure with a nice view of the river and was clean and well-equipped. With a covered space for our rental car we were able to walk everywhere. Would absolutely recommend.

Beautifully modern, clean and location is 5 star!

I am very sad to leave this apartment! The location is perfect, with a gorgeous view of the river. It is very clean, very modern, tastefully decorated and spacious. A bonus was that it was VERY baby friendly-high chair, cot and fantastic blinds which darken room making for great baby sleeps! It truly felt like home! I so can not wait to return to this apartment and would stay no where else when I return to York. Another mention is Ben, he is exceptional to work with. I have booked many vacation rentals and he responds very quickly and is very helpful! All of it make for an excellent stress free stay!

Beautiful view - Fab Location - Highly recommend!

I spent a couple of nights here just before Christmas with my husband and my elderly parents. We are regular visitors to York and chose to stay here as location to amenities and city centre were important. We were met at the secure parking by a friendly young lady who escorted us to the apartment and showed us round. The apartment was immaculate,warm,beautifully decorated and did not disappoint. Beds were very comfortable and living space was perfect. I must say the delightful Christmas decoration was a lovely festive touch! Both my parents and husband and I had a very pleasant stay, made lots of happy memories and would definitely recommend this property. We would most certainly return. Thank you again.

Does what it says on the tin!

It's hard to be original with this report as everything was as advertised and excellent. We have been visiting York for more years than we care to remember and this apartment was our best yet. It could not be more conveniently located and the secure car parking beneath the apartment block is extremely useful in a city which is short on parking places. What also surprised us was how spacious the apartment was particularly for a city centre property. It was also remarkably quiet.

Great location, loved our stay!

My family and I came to stay at Centurion Square. Our first thoughts were very pleasing as we were met by large electronic gates and shown to our secure parking space. The location of the apartment is very central and just a 5 minute walk to the city centre which has hundreds of shops, cafe's and restaurants. The apartment is very clean, modern and has some nice canvases of York on the walls. You can see the river from both bedrooms and there is a balcony in the lounge to enjoy an excellent view from the third floor. We loved watching the red boats pass by on the river Ouse. The beds are comfy and we slept well. The apartment has everything you could possibly need. We had a wonderful stay and we will definitely be returning. Thank you for a lovely holiday.
