We LOVED this place! Cold A/C, new appliances, comfortable mattress, nice big TV, and only a 5-min. walk to Dog Beach. After a day at the beach, it was great to return to our cozy little home. Oh, BTW, it was fully equipped with beach necessities: wagon, umbrella, boogie board, etc. and even a washer and dryer for our wet, sandy clothes. Highly recommended!

Super cute unit with everything you need. Great location with good food close by. We were able to get street parking for part of our stay so only used the private parking a few times. The private spot is not for those who have never done tight, atypical city parking. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the privacy this unit had to offer.

I’ll touch on some things not usually mentioned in these reviews besides location, cleanliness, blah, blah, blah.- We brought a hidden camera finder, and the coast was clear… not to mention, the nearby Coast was clear of any drama (huge beach!)- the provided DirecTV was excellent… There are even several movies, etal. saved on the DVR that can entertain while relaxing- Infrequent Airplanes can be noisy in the A.M… but we used a Bluetooth Speaker and went to iPhone - Settings - Accessibility - Audio & Video - Background Sounds — and blasted Rain Sounds — We slept VERY well.- If you have a vehicle longer than a standard 4-door Sedan, the garage will not be accommodating… but depending on the season, street parking might be available a block or two away. (it IS an excellent tourist location, so what do you expect?)

Weekend Getaway in Ocean Beach

I was looking for a weekend getaway and we found this wonderful listing that fit our bill.The location was just what we wanted, quiet but plenty to do, plenty of restaurant options, and dog friendly. The stay was as advertised and between the other listings in this location I was glad we picked this one, as it had a nice outdoor balcony area that we were able to enjoy and feel the beach air, and was bit more setback than the other accommodations so it felt more private. Ocean Beach was absolutely delightful and I would come back in a heartbeat. We parked our car once for our stay and just walk around Voltaire and Newport street for some shopping, eating, drinking, and beaching (though we came during an overcast weekend). The people of Ocean Beach were fantastic and made me feel at home- I would highly recommend visiting.

Comfortable and Cute San Diego cottage

The apartment provided a fun, comfortable & convenient place for our stay in Ocean Beach. Perhaps one of the most comfortable beds ever. Well-equipped kitchen. Nice beach chairs & beach towels for our use. Just blocks from the beach & restaurants. Funky decor with great seating options. Although it was too chilly to enjoy the outdoor sitting area, it would provide a nice place to read and eat. We’ve already booked for our next visit.

Cute place, block from the beach. Colorful, beachy, comfortable place. Had everything we needed in the kitchen and for the beach. Very comfortable bed and great bedding. Enjoyed our stay.

A Very Comfortable Stay Close to the Beach

My husband and I loved this whimsical cottage. It was our first time to Ocean Beach and the location was super- just two blocks to the beach. The cottage was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Communication with Katrina was easy. She responded immediately by phone when we had a question and was very helpful. We would stay here again and would recommend this sweet cottage to others.

Such a convenient short walk to the beach and all the restaurants/shops in OB. Love the decorations and great spot for a couple’s getaway. Very responsive host, too!

Perfect local spot for my visiting parents

I live locally and booked this spot for my parents who were visiting, and they had a wonderful experience. Huge bonus that there’s a king size bed, which they prefer. They were very comfortable with all of the amenities, and they especially appreciated the big private porch.

Wonderful whimsical getaway!

We were very pleased with the location, convenience, and cute decor that this cottage afforded/had. The cottage was quiet and cozy. The owner of this cottage was very professional, accommodating, and easy to communicate with. She was very sweet and allowed us to drop our bags off and safely store them before we actually could check in.

Very relaxing and close to the beach

I stayed a couple of days with my dog Echo. It was very clean and quiet. It is really close to Mission Beach and dog beach. Katrina was super nice. She even helped me get a super star parking place when i arrived. Great place to stay!!

Great location ocean beach

Great location. Short walk to dog beach. Able to walk to ocean beach farmers market, and all the fun little restaurants close by. The unit had a large comfy king bed, instant hot water in the shower, an enclosed outdoor patio, and really comfy chairs to watch the nba finals in the living room. A quiet peaceful neighborhood. What else do you need?
