Ocean Beach Casita ubicada a media cuadra de la avenida Santa Cruz. cala de la playa y la playa principal está a poca distancia. La Casita es una casa privada independiente con aire acondicionado, con capacidad para 5 a 6 personas cómodamente, una cocina completa que incluye una lavadora / secadora, un patio / terraza privada cerrada. ¡Y si! Parking privado también. El OB Casita es un gran lugar para descansar, tomar una ducha y relajarse después de un día lleno de diversión en San Diego. La sala de estar y el dormitorio principal tienen Smart TV con DirecTV (HBO / Showtime). También tiene la opción de iniciar sesión en Netflix, Hulu y otras aplicaciones de TV. Ropa de cama y un montón de toallas se proporcionan incluyendo toallas de playa.

Comfortable and nice place close to everything

We enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable and the cottage had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again when I come back!

Great location, close to the beach, chairs and beach toys available, w/d super helpful! Flexible and helpful management/property owners. Great for a lower budget option. Not fancy but just what we needed!!

Great get away!

The property at Ocean Beach was clean, well stocked with all that we needed and the host was very responsive and helpful. The location was perfect for enjoying much of the sights and activities that San Diego offers. We enjoyed being able to walk to Ocean Beach and restaurants nearby. The neighborhood was quiet and safe and the casita was the perfect set up and size for our family of 3!

The Casita had all that we needed. Hosts were very responsive when we needed heat due to the unusually chilly weather. Quiet location.

Loved the O.B. Casita!

Being back in Ocean Beach after 20 years with our boys was wonderful. The location was incredible, and the beach was just a block away! The hosts were super responsive and made check-in and out easy. It was great to have a dedicated parking spot, shopping, incredible restaurants, and entertainment just footsteps away. We look forward to returning to O.B. again and staying at the Casita in the future!

Property is accurately described and well stocked. Host was helpful and prompt answering any questions we had. The weather was really cold for southern CA during our stay but the space heater helped. Location is great for walking to downtown OB.

A+ Host / Property

Wonderful host and property. The entire process was very smooth. The location is right next to the beaches and Sunset Cliffs. It is within walking distance to mini marts and Krysp grocery store. The property had a very private back yard/deck with a couple of chairs to sit outside and enjoy the nice weather. You can spend a whole vacation just walking around Ocean Beach and enjoying the sights and restaurants. I highly recommend this rental.

Perfect Location!

We absolutely LOVED the location of this property! It's just a 1/2 block walk to explore the Ocean Beach tide pools, and a short walk to the beach, shops, restaurants and bars. It's far enough away from the hustle and bustle that it's quiet and feels residential, yet anything you need is easily walkable by young and old alike. Our host Dora was a wonderful communicator and helpful. The casita is supplied with a the basics and more. We had a great week here and highly recommend!

Awesome stay, host and location

We are very happy with our experience. Dora was very responsive and helpful. Checkin and checkout was easy and flexible. Lots of towels, boogie boards, beach chairs and sand toys to use. Washer and dryer was very convenient. Two minute walk to a great little beach and 5 to 10 minute walk to restaurants, shops, groceries, main beach and pier. Very helpful to have a dedicated parking spot. Definitely hope to stay there again.

Perfect San Diego beach locale

Felt like i was in the center of everything we wanted to see and do in San Diego. Great for a small family. Exceptionally clean. Great communication with host. They were gracious in supplying everything they expected their renters to need, which was so so helpful! In the good-to-know category: this isn't the spot for you if you want to sleep late, rely on wifi, or have a large vehicle.

Ocean Beach Haven

We had a wonderful stay at Dora’s property. The location was spectacular, so close to the beach and walking distance to all of the restaurants and shops on Newport Ave. The casita is extremely well-equipped and had everything we needed. The home was clean and comfortable, quiet and inviting. Dora was also exceptionally kind and accommodating. She allowed us an early check-in and a late check-out and was fully responsive throughout. We would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to others without hesitation. Thank you!!

My brothers wedding

Small, quiet casita. Not very loud location. It is .5 block from the beach but its not a relax beach. Pretty much just to look at, its all rocks and water no beach . You have to walk at least 10 mimutes to the shops and actually beach .

Great spot in Ocean Beach

This little place was big on charm and amenities. The location is just a few blocks from Ocean Beach and the pier there. It’s very private considering it’s a carriage house in the backyard of another house. The parking space was great because parking in the area is tricky. It was close to the big attractions (10 mins to SeaWorld and 20mins to SD Zoo and Balboa park) It was clean and had everything we needed for our 3 night stay including boogie boards and other beach toys as well as everything we needed for the kitchen etc. It was perfect for our short stay with our family of four.

Perfect!

We were very pleased with this place and with the host - Dora. She was readily available to answer questions. The location was perfect, about a block from the water and a few blocks from all kinds of restaurants. There was off street parking although we didn’t use it, we used Lyft to get around. The place itself was just enough, two bedrooms with comfortable beds, eating area, kitchen and bathroom. I would definitely recommend this casita if you are wanting to be in the Ocean Beach area.

Cozy and great location

This was an extra cozy space. It worked well for our family (we have two young kids that loved being able to sleep on the bunk beds). We didn't spend much time at the Casita, as we were off doing ocean adventures. It may have been a little too small for a group of adults to stay if you planned on spending any amount of time at "home base" during your stay. The kitchen was pretty well stocked, it seemed, but there isn't much space to be able to cook. However, the Casita is in such a great location for walking to fabulous restaurants and grocery store. We were also able to walk just up the street to see the sunset over the ocean and do a morning tide pool walk to the beach. This was a fabulous home base for the few days we spent in San Diego.

Casita Rico is a very reasonably priced property near the beach, restaurants and stores. We had absolutely no issues with the location or property. It was quiet and sitting out on the little deck in the morning and evenings was something that I enjoyed. The only things we would have changed is to add a door mat and getting bigger coffee cups! I loved having the washer and dryer right there so that I could do some washing before we had to catch our flight home. The neighborhood itself is easy to walk with lots of options. There are great cocktails to try at Raglan's just down the block. If a day of pampering is in order - Therapie Day Spa is also a short walking trip away. We were there during the street fair/chili cook-off. That was a day well spent with tasting and voting on the chili cook-off entrants, listening to the bands and browsing the merchant tents.

Matias and I met in Chicago and were raising our family. He always said he wanted to come back to live in San Diego. He had attended SDSU and lived in Ocean Beach in the late 60's early 70's. I thought I'd give it a try and we've lived in San Diego for 14 years.

We first purchased this house as an investment property knowing that one day when our nest emptied we'd move into it ourselves. We love it in Ocean Beach and know you will too.

Everything you need is walking distance. The Beach, Restaurants, Coffee Shops, Convenient Stores and more. Ocean Beach is a unique community where the 60's nostalgia keeps on living. It is a very laid back, open-minded, colorful community. The Casita has a parking space for your use which you will appreciate especially if you're staying during the summer and festival dates.
