'Ships & Giggles': belleza frente a la playa con acceso a la piscina

'Ships & Giggles' es lo que llamamos cariñosamente No. 314 en Sea Gypsy. Debido a que está en el último piso, cuenta con algunas de las mejores vistas de la playa y los barcos que atraviesan el horizonte oceánico.

El condominio duerme hasta cuatro personas. El dormitorio principal tiene su propia entrada. Una vez dentro, encontrará una cama king-size y un baño privado. También hay una lavadora y secadora en este condominio, que es una rara amenidad Sea Gypsy. Salga a la suite frente al mar y encontrará un sofá cama de tamaño completo y una enorme ventana que da directamente al Pacífico. Hay otro baño también.

No olvides traer tus recetas favoritas porque tenemos una cocina completa que cuenta con utensilios de cocina para el Julia Child en tu fiesta. También tenemos dos parrillas de gas en el lugar si tiene ganas de hacer una barbacoa.

El condominio cuenta con acceso a nuestra piscina cubierta climatizada y a la sauna seca, que están abiertas para uso de los huéspedes entre 9 a. metro. y 10 p. metro.

This is a beautiful condo with a great View. I also like that there are two bathrooms. One in the bedroom and one in the main area makes it convenient if you have children or guests they can have their own bathroom.

If I could change one thing.

If I could change one thing, it would be the mattress on the bed. The view was beautiful. The staff are amazing. We stayed a whole week and enjoyed ourselves. I think if a newer mattress was put it, my stay would have been perfect.

Ships and Giggles

I only got to stay one night due to my limited schedule. I wish I could have stayed longer. The room was adorable. I made dinner and breakfast in the room. The pans, utensils, dishes, glasses were all there that I needed. I came to the beach for the finders seekers game. I have been trying for many years to find one. I never have, but I met a wonderful lady during my stay with the kindest heart. She gifted me one of hers. She was probably my favorite part of my stay. I'm not sure if she works there, or only lives there, but she's lovely.

Great room, amazing view

The view was incredible and the room was comfy and clean. The doors did rattle at night with the wind, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars. Will definitely be coming back!

Beautiful beach views, right on the water

Fun little room, everything you need for your stay is here. Best part was sitting by the window in a comfy chair to watch the ocean. Can't beat that! Due to the shortage of cleaning staff, when we arrived at our room, the room hadn't been actually cleaned. The hide a bed was still out and rumbled. The main bed was rumbled, I hope the sheets where fresh! Shower head does not work in the second bathroom. That's ok, there was another shower to use. I give it 4 stars because of the location, and the front desk gals are SUPER NICE! Oh, and great/easy beach access where you can have a fire if you choose at night, pretty awesome!

Extremely Satisfied

Unit 314 was way better than expected! It was cute, yet comfortable! The view of the ocean was incredible! The furniture by the window allowed for us to sit for hours watching the ocean, smelling the ocean, while staying cozy! The kitchen was a perfect fit for preparing and eating our own food. The bed was extremely comfortable!! I will definitely be back and may even want the exact same place because it was perfect!

Love the location of the Sea Gypsy and the staff (front desk and maintenance) are super friendly. Our unit needed a bit of an update and we did not have a working heater in the living room. Thankfully one was brought up for us to use during our stay.

Excellent view, warm accommodations. We were disappointed with the response we initially received regarding the king bed. The bed side closest to the window was seriously broken down to where I was sleeping on a slant all night. . Maintenance was sent up, and confirmed a new mattress was needed. We were at the beginning of our stay. Near the end of our stay, I went to front desk for soap and found out Sea Gypsy was waiting owner approval. Room 314 was booked solid for weeks, yet not only us but future guests just had to deal with an unacceptable bed. On a side note, it would have been helpful to have a pot that could hold a quart of water to cook pasta. The kitchen mainly had small, worn skillets. Thank you for allowing us to use your condo. However, we will likely not return as property management provided no resolution for us.

It was ok, but lacked a lot.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The view and location are great, but I have to say, the place itself was just ok. Many of the lights flickered constantly and if you ran the microwave, the dining lights was like a strobe light. The door had paint that was 2 different whites and part of it was painted onto the lock (not that big of a deal but kind of just goes to show how much effort/care goes into maintaining a place). We were really looking forward to the in unit washer/dryer because we are traveling and had laundry to do but it was so old and the dryer didn’t dry anything. It was also SO LOUD that you couldn’t have it running while you were home. We ended up going down to the building laundromat, which was a nice option, but we were hoping to have had it in the room.

As past guests, we enjoyed staying on the top level this time versus the ground floor. We liked the view, recliner chairs, and king size (not too hard) bed in #314. The bedroom has a broken blind slat, and really could use some darkening curtains or blinds to make it much better. The big trunk "coffee table" has a broken leg, that could cause injury to somebody if it falls on a foot. A newer shower head in the middle bathroom is also a cheap and nice update.

Great place, and excellent location! We had lots of fun walking along the beach, agate hunting and even found a few washed up jellyfish (be careful). Our room had everything we needed and then some (except a spatula 😅). The in room laundry in this room was really nice! While the building does show its age it has been kept nicely. With all the salt in the air there, it can take its toll on the outside of the buildings. So it's not the prettiest on the outside, but the room on the inside was maintained really well and beautifully decorated! We definitely plan to come back.

This was a spacious, clean room for the four of us. We stayed here for three nights. Amazing view of the ocean from our room. Open the windows to hear the sounds of the ocean and feel the breeze. The washer and dryer is convenient but a little loud. The kitchen was nicely equipped. Had a large dining table. Just a short walk to the beach. We enjoyed walking the beach and nearby tide pools. Would stay here again!

Great family vacation, needs a new mattress

Overall, our trip was fantastic. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook for our family for a whole week, and having a washer and dryer was great. The major con of this unit for us was the king mattress - it was truly one of the worst we have slept on. Other suggestions for improvement would be room darkening curtains for the bedroom, replacing the blinds since they don't work well and the bedroom one has a missing piece (awkward with people walking by and being able to see in the bedroom). Also, the dryer may need some attention since it took over 3 hours to dry a load of clothes. Thanks for giving us such a wonderful stay! The location and view cannot be beat!

Unwashed, sticky pans and utensils Appliances would not work, every time we tried using the microwave the lights would flicker, the stove top would not work properly because of the foil shoved in place of a clean drip pan. The fan in the bedroom was ridiculously dusty. The heat only really worked in the bedroom and even after I turned the thermostat off the heat was blaring in the middle of the night and woke us up, then we had to unplug the heater itself. The WiFi was extremely spotty And to top it off the bedspread was stained We were absolutely not thrilled especially for nearly 300 a night should have stayed at a cleaner more professional place.

Beautiful view and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We noticed a couple of maintenance needs- the freezer was not staying cold enough to keep ice frozen and the handle in the inside of the shower doors kept falling off. Otherwise we had a great time, thanks!

Sea gypsy is a great place to stay with an amazing view and for the price of hotel room you get a place that feels like a home with a full kitchen. My wife and I have stayed here a couple times and will be back.

I REALLY ENJOYED being right above the ocean. The first day was wild due to the high seas, strong wind, and the morning high tide. Watching the sea bang into the revetment was amazing. I loved walking/running on the beach, which I did every day. The only 'complaint' was the heat situation. There is working heat in the bedroom. The living room has a heat dial on the wall but it does not seem to be connected to anything. My solution, besides wearing more clothes, was to turn on the bedroom heat and the fan above the bed to help circulate the heat. The kitchen was great and well stocked. I used the washer/drier 3 times during my ~3 week stay. I did leave a couple days early due to feeling the need to get home sooner. The view was amazing from the 3rd floor... If I could rate it 4.75, I would.

Ships and Giggles

We have stayed in this condo in the past and we noticed that this year things were a little different. The location and view are amazing as always. However, the amount of kitchen utensils were a lot less. There is room for 4 people, but you could not have a meal for 4 people as there aren't enough items for that. The bedding seemed to be a lot older and the couch was not very clean. As a whole the condo could use some updating in those areas.

Nice view of beach!

Was a nice condo with all that we needed, although the carpet was pretty dirty. Looks like it had not been shampooed in a while.
