A beautiful lodge in an excellent location on the site of Retallack Resort and Spa, 15 minutes from Padstow and close to all of the popular North Cornwall beaches. The Retreat, Lodge 22 based at Retallack Resort and Spa, 7 miles from the beautiful seaside town of Padstow - Sleeps 8 people over 2 floors (2 super king rooms, 1 twin room and 1 double room), 2 bathrooms, making it an ideal house for two families to share. Open plan kitchen with large dining table for 8 and lounge on the ground floor, with views beyond the decking area consisting of private hot tub and Al Fresco dining for 8 people, down onto the large pond. Lounge upstairs enjoying far reaching views through the large apex windows which can be opened onto the balcony. Outdoor seating for 8 c/w hot tub to relax and unwind. Outside shower to hose down wet suits after a day at the beach. A picnic table is to be found by the large pond at the front of the house which is for the sole use of 'The Retreat'. An ideal place to enjoy family games of Badminton or soft ball.
The house underwent a refurbishment in 2021 with sympathetic coastal shades added throughout, to allow guests to embrace the true coastal holiday stay - relaxing and peaceful.

FREE use of the indoor swimming pool, tennis court and gym on site for all guests to enjoy.

The lodge is located at Retallack Resort & Spa which enjoys seasonal watersports activities on the lake. Try your hand on the wake-park or simply enjoy paddle boarding. Alternatively there are several walks within the site for families to be able to enjoy family dog walks. The FlowRider is a must for children who are keen to surf or body board. For the ladies the ESYA Spa is on site if you want to just relax and indulge.

The Lodge also has its own private hot tub for guests to enjoy.

February Half Term break

Wonderful lodge, exactly as the description. A great place to spend a some of our half term break! If you have a car, that would be helpful to explore the area/ shopping/ restaurants etc but this lodge is ideally placed! Hot tub and instructions were clear, and it was very easy to check in/out. Would recommend for families as there is lots of space within the house, and lovely grass area outside for the children and dog!

Stunning Lodge in beautiful surroundings

We had a very special family time together & felt very comfortable & cosy throughout our stay in this beautiful lodge . The bottle of wine & biscuits left by the owner was a lovely touch too.

Family Holiday

We had a brilliant stay at this property. We had a mixed group of ages from 4-90 and there was enough room and space for all to do their own thing. Kitchen well equipped we ate in every night. Beds were lovely and so comfortable. We made use of the hot tub and swimming pool. The quiet nature of the park meant were we’re able to allow the youngest to scoot round on the roads which was excellent. We had a perfect stay. Thanks you Mrs Burdge for letting us stay. Would definitely recommend to others .

Relaxing retreat

We had a really relaxing and very comfortable stay for four nights while our children were at Boardmasters festival. Close enough if they needed us but far enough away to have our own holiday. Great location and really peaceful. Thank you.

We have a large family and have always enjoyed our stays in Cornwall. We love body boarding and coastal walks along the rugged North Cornwall coast, usually finished off by some recreational shopping in Padstow or Wadebridge and an evening in the hot tub. The local restaurants are superb and the Cornish hospitality always friendly. We love Cornwall and hope you do to.

Having our lodge on the Retallack Resort & Spa site offered the family the best of all worlds. There are many activities on site to keep the family entertained: Flow Rider, paddle boarding, wake park, running trails for early morning joggers, beauty EYSA spa, on site restaurant and a coffee lounge to name a few.
Having our own private grass area in front of the property down to the pond with private picnic table, we believe affords the best located house on the site, as well as having FREE access to the site indoor swimming pool, gym and tennis court.
Within a 15 minute drive you have countless beaches to explore and enjoy, an absolute surfers paradise. Small sandy beaches nestled in coves alongside long stretches of sandy white beaches with stronger surf for the more adventurous.
North Cornwall we really believe is a paradsise. There are so many beaches to choose from and most are dog friendly. The restaurants in and around Padstow offer something for everyone.

Large grassed area in front of the house owned by the property down to the pond, which allows families to enjoy the outside and play family games such as Badminton or soft ball. A private picnic table by the pond, which can be enjoyed for early morning coffees or brought back up towards the house for more outside seating. We believe we have the best location on the site.
