Furthermore, it is nearby to 3 golf courses, a water park, tennis courts, scuba diving centre, winery and a whole array of other activities and beaches.

Tourist tax

Please note that on 13th April 2024 a new law was passed approving a new tourism tax (Taxa Municipal Turística de Lagoa). All guests aged 13 years and over are required to pay this tax. The amount is €2 per person per night during high season (April – October) and €1 per person per night during low season (November – March). There is a cap of 7 nights on the tax. Therefore for all reservations in excess of 7 nights, you still only pay the tax for 7.
