We had a great time. It was plenty comfortable for the six of us. The unit was warm and clean. Getting to the mountain was easy. We had plenty of parking for up to 4 cars. The host family is very nice and helpful with all our questions. We plan to stay there again in the future.

Wonderful stay! We absolutely loved this townhouse! Lots of room, comfy beds and great location. Close to Notch and other tourist spots. Beautiful wrap around porch and ample parking. Thank you Deborah for sharing your beautiful place with our family! Will definitely be back.

Ski competition weekend

This townhouse was the perfect location for if family. We had a college skier competing and we were able to walk bank and forth from the course to our property. Plenty of firewood was provided, which made for great cozy nights relaxing with a movie.

Easy access to Cannon for skiing.

We stayed here with our 4 kids and it made getting back and forth to Cannon for skiing very easy. We came home for lunch every day.

Family Ski Weekend

Location, location, location! Very close to the base of Cannon. We had a great time and stay. Everything was clean and in order. Easy check-in and room enough for all our travelers to park. Wood burning stove was an added plus. Thanks to our hosts for their gracious hospitality.

Great spot for a get away!

We stayed with our 4 kids (ages 15-5yrs). The house has everything you need. This is our second time staying here. Since our last visit they added a larger deck which allowed us to eat all our meals outside. The deck is a great addition!

What a Wonderful Get Away!

This adorable location reminded me of Austrian chalets in the alps. It was easy to find and the instructions and directions were clear and concise. Half of our family came down with Covid so missed out on coming, but my daughter (from Tampa) and I had a completely wonderful time. I highly recommend staying here - the unit is great and the hosts were so welcoming and supportive. We look forward to coming and staying here again!

Cozy and Convenient!

I stayed here with family for three nights. We had a lovely time. The townhouse was immaculate. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. We cooked all of our meals found that the kitchen had all of the pots, pans, and gadgets we needed. The area is perfect for skiers, hikers, and people who want to roam around the White Mountains sightseeing and exploring. We especially loved the woodstove and the sunsets from the window above the couch. The host, Deb was a sweetheart and very communicative. We are looking forward to coming back!

Clean, Quiet, and Close!

We are so glad we stayed at Deb & Neil's townhouse for a busy race weekend with two teenage athletes. The location allowed for an easy drop off in the morning or it was only a 7-8 minute walk (in street shoes) to the Mittersill Comp Center. You can even see the top of the slalom course from the upstairs bedroom! We had a cozy place to share meals together but also space to spread out and chill. The view from the large side deck was amazing; we were lucky enough to have clear skies and some great star gazing. The bedrooms and living room were very comfortable. We had time to relax and recharge after a long day on the slopes. When the teammates wanted to hang out up at the alpine hotel or watch a movie together at our place it was safe for them to walk back & forth by themselves.This was our first visit to Cannon Mountain and specifically Mittersill. Thank you to our hosts who went out of their way to take care of us and treated us like family. We would absolutely stay here again!

Family Fun

The hosts were amazing. We lost power the first night due to a bad storm and they made sure to keep us updated the whole time and offered to bring a generator up for us if needed, thankfully it was only out for the one night. Everything about the house was a perfect setup for us. My husband and I with our kids on one floor and my sister and niece on the other so we could still do our separate bedtime routines. The hosts also gave some great food recommendations if you aren’t familiar with the area. The only issues we had was the bottom of the stairs wrap around so the baby gate we brought didn’t work(not really sure what kind would) and the queen bed upstairs was incredibly loud to get in and out of but it was comfortable. We can’t wait to come back and stay again next year!

The place was everything as described. The five of us where quite comfortable. if you plan to just ski at Cannon. It’s perfect. I do recommend driving over rather than walking. As Mittersill only has expert runs and when we were there only the tow rope. No good for boarders. It’s easy to get the local towns just 20 minutes away. Better make rsvp if you want to go out for dinner. Plan ahead. The host were great and were a pleasure to talk to. The neighbors that I met were all great to. They were more than happy to tell us what restaurants they go to and what towns have what. Unfortunately we didn’t have great weather but I would love to go back and stay again. Hopefully with more snow 😂

Absolutey beautiful view!

We thouroughly enjoyed our stay here. We are from Alabama and Florida, so the weather and the snow was a dream. The house was older, as is the whole neighborhood, but loved the nostalgic look of it. Our house was super clean, and even had brand new towels in every room. The wood burning fire place was a huge hit, and gave us such comfort after long days of skiing. The house is about 2 minutes from Cannon Mountain, and we skied there the entire week. My boys (16 and 12), skied 6 out of 7 days. It was never crowded, and many different slopes to ski on. We were there on New Years, and we could see fireworks from the front porch. Unbeknownst to us, that fireworks were around 9pm, because massive snow winds came in later. Which wasnt too nice weather for fireworks. Neal and Deb were wonderful from the very beginning. My inquiries about the place were answered quickly, and both gave us great information along the way. Mrs. Deb called me back immediately when I had questions about our the heat amd fireplace (hubby wasnt there yet to help with fire). She was so kind and fun. The only recommendation that I have, is to make sure you can hit a Walmart or big grocery store before settling in. There isnt too many grocery stores near by that isnt "pricey". But, it is convenient, so we appreciated it. I recommend eating at "Common Man", and the "Dutch Treat". The gentleman at the Dutch Treat put our Alabama game on for us, because we couldnt get our firestick to work. So friendly. If you go to Cannon Mountain, ask for Theresa in the checkin rental shop. She was AWESOME! We will be back to this place and Cannon/Loon Mountain. This was a great vacation, coming from a Southerner.

Just a note for the future, before our exit, on your way north, there is a Market Basket in Tilton at exit 20 off, of Rt 93. There are also box stores like Shaws and Home Depot in Littleton, going 15 mins. further north on Rt 93, exit 41 and 42. Hope you have a great summer! Deb and Neil

Great find next to the mountain!

Exactly as it’s pictured in the listing. Hosts were very easy to communicate with. Immaculate cleaning. We stayed over Christmas to NY and they put up a Christmas tree on the deck and twinkle lights on the deck. So welcoming, convenient. Great wood stove!

Homey, Great location

It is nice and homey. Location is great, in center of Franconia notch, just minutes from a whole lot of attractions. Hosts are very responsive and go out of way to assist you. Gave it 4 star because although it sleeps 8 comfortable, living and dining space for a party of 8 is somewhat tight. For a smaller party, or if you plan to eat out, this property should be great.

Great Week Long Visit

The Mittersell is a charming, Old World style ski community at the base of Canon Mountain. This was the perfect place for us to stay with our adult children. There was plenty of privacy as well as a separate bath in the lower level. There were lots of different sleeping options that just worked out perfectly for us. We arrived to find the house spotless and welcoming. The small kitchen was surprisingly well equipped. Deb was a joy to work with and was so accommodating and understanding. We have stayed in a lot of rentals over the years and this was one of our favorites.

Spacious and charming home, great location

The home was comfortable and spacious for our family of four (4 bedrooms). The kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans etc so cooking meals with the food we brought was easy. You can’t beat the location...right at the bottom of Mittersill, next door to Cannon. You could walk to the nearest chairlift (10 min).
