Those wanting to visit the lakes, walk the fells, hit the peaks, resturants, coffee shops, pubs, its all walkable from the House. Windermere, Ambleside, Keswick, a hop on the bus, or short drive. The views from the garden change daily, Spring Summer, Autumn, or Winter all incredible, Alcock Tarn, Helms Crag, Stone Arthur, Fiarfield Horseshoe to name a few. hello, thank you for reviewing. yes the upstairs of the property did let itself down in comparison to downstairs. It has taken the best part of 2 years to schedule and get contractors in. Over £160,000 of improvements have been made, all windows have been replaced, double glazed, 4 of the 5 en-suites have been completely gutted and refurbished, last one scheduled for spring 2026. Will update pictures very soon.
