At low tide here in Staithes there is a small sandy bay in the harbour, at high tide the sea comes up to the sea wall, with small fishing boats bobbing in the water. This is an incredibly scenic village, sure to capture your heart. On the top floor you have the master double bedroom, again with gorgeous sea views to wake up to.



Staithes is a fascinating village with a lot of history, take time to explore the free museum as well as the art gallery. Each year the annual art festival draws visitors from around the UK and this village continues to inspire many artists with its beautiful scenery. The area offers walking trails including the Cleveland Way leading across the cliff tops which links other pretty coastal villages such as Runswick Bay, Robin Hoods Bay as well as Skinningrove. You also have the nearby historical seafaring town of Whitby which delights guests with its cobbled old town, boat trips and the iconic abbey ruins. Or visit Saltburn which is a surfer’s paradise, with a beautiful Victorian pier. For a day out you can take a trip on the steam train across the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, soaking up the views.
