Villa Samsara está situada en la prestigiosa comunidad cerrada de El Tesoro, a la entrada de Tamarindo. Un corto viaje cuesta arriba lo llevará a este lugar perfectamente ubicado en la montaña, con vistas absolutamente impresionantes del estuario de Tamarindo y el Parque Nacional Las Baulas y su ecosistema de manglar protegido.

Una entrada muy espaciosa recibirá a los invitados en el nivel inferior, donde se encuentran la piscina infinita, la terraza para tomar el sol y el área del jardín. También en el nivel inferior hay 5 habitaciones de invitados, 4 de las cuales tienen increíbles vistas al océano y a la piscina y una tiene vista al jardín. El nivel superior tiene un plan de piso abierto con una cocina muy elegante, comedor y sala de estar y una terraza cubierta con barbacoa, todo frente a las aguas azules del océano y el hermoso bosque circundante. El salón tiene una gran televisión con servicio de cable. En la esquina oeste del nivel superior se encuentra el dormitorio principal, con un amplio baño y un balcón que probablemente tenga las mejores vistas del atardecer.

This was an amazing property!! Our large family group had a ton of fun. The pool has a shallow area and was heated which was perfect for the babies. The beach was 0.2 miles from the house (up a very steep hill that likely requires a car for most people). The view was absolutely amazing. The property was extremely secure with security going into the neighborhood and a separate gate specifically for this house. The neighborhood clearly had some of the nicest houses in Tamarindo. This house exceeded our expectations.

This house was perfect for our family of 12. Alejandra is an amazing host who went out of her way to make our visit memorable and pleasurable. The housekeeper Esther was very helpful and kept things ship shape the whole week. Alejandra recommended chef services from Ben & Arthur and they prepared breakfasts and two dinners that were amazing. The kitchen is well-equipped and easy to use. The pool gave the kids (and their parents) a place to unwind at the end of busy days. Tamarindo’s beaches are gorgeous. Alejandra gave us information about other adventures that was very useful.We all had a great time and with the very comfortable beds, en suite bathrooms and truly breathtaking views, we felt we were in a Costa Rican paradise. Thank you to Alejandra, Esther, our Chef Ben and the lovely people of Costa Rica. Pura Vida!

Hi there, just back from Villa Samsara, we were greeted when we arrived and did a quick run thru, it was just the right amount of time. Our stay was fabulous, the villa was super clean and the view was specatacular. the cleaning staff was super sweet and always did a great job. very safe btw, locked gate, always felt good. lots of sitting areas and the pool was a lot bigger than given credit. It was truly a greta vacation and we would return for sure. the way the bedrooms were set up was like being at a resort, eberyone had there space , bathroom privacy and the doors led out to the pool deck , honestly we could have not asked for a better set up for 5 couples, Thank you so much for a great stay!

Better than expected

This property is absolutely amazing. It has one of the most incredible views. Simply, yet beautifully decorated. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Air conditioning works well, if not a little bit too well at times. The kitchen is very well appointed – – we cooked many meals at home, and never were lacking for equipment.The Infiniti pool is exquisite. Probably my only complaint is that the foliage at the level of the pool could be trimmed lower so that you can enjoy the beautiful view of the mountain and oceans from the pool.Alejandro was a great host and was very attentive to everything we needed. we hated leaving!

One of the best lodging experiences of my life

This place is incredible! The views, the bedrooms, house, pool, everything about this house is amazing! We came here for a bachelor party and everyone’s first impression was “Wow.”Alejandra was a wonderful host and I highly recommend staying here.

Awesome Accomidations!

This is was the perfect house for our 10 person getaway. The property manager was so helpful and responded right away with any questions we had. The facilities are clean and well taken care of. The view is spectacular. The pool is gorgeous. Walking into town was easy. The hike back up is more challenging, but also doable. Always an option to get in your rental car and drive down if you can't hike back up. I would stay here again!!

Absolutely Breathtaking Views!

This property is even more beautiful in person than the listing photos. The sweeping views of the ocean & beach, the jungle, and the volcanos & mountains are sublime. The layout of the house is perfect for large groups - every room has a view, and the beds are extremely comfy with high end linens and AC units that crank out the cool. The property manager is kind and responsive. The cleaners are fairly thorough with the daily cleaning, but they do not clean the showers at all, which makes for a slippery experience towards the end of your trip when the shampoo/gel residue on the tile floor has built up. We had private chefs cook dinner for us on my birthday and two breakfasts. They came highly recommended by Alejandra and we couldn’t be more happy with the meals they cooked. Five star restaurant in the comfort of our home! The community felt very safe with the guards at the gate, and the location can’t be beat. The house is way up a steep hill, with privacy and seclusion, but a quick 1 minute drive down the hill and hang a left, and you’re in downtown Tamarindo! One negative: There’s a pretty quirky thing with the refrigerator- it has an internal “flap” you have to manually put into place when you shut the two doors, or, the filtered water on the front of the fridge will spontaneously turn on and pour water onto the floor. It was an every day occurrence. The fridge does not properly stay cold even with the flap in place. It should be replaced…

Best spot for our family vacation!

We loved our stay at Villa Samsara!! There were 10 of us and we had more than enough room. The property manager was WONDERFUL. She was very responsive both before our trip and during it. The house was just as described and more. We are already looking forward to our next trip!

Beautiful Property with a Breaktaking View

My college friends and I spent 3 nights at Villa Samsara, and the house and property absolutely exceeded our expectations. We got our exercise each day by walking into town and walking along the beach. We are in our 40s, and this was the perfect getaway to accommodate all 12 of us. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Amazing View at Villa Samsara

We’ve been to Tamarindo before and stayed on the beach, but waking up with this hilltop view was even better. We’d highly recommend Villa Samsara. The house was clean and modern. The neighborhood felt safe. And there’s probably no better view in Tamarindo. You should book it now!! The only advice I’d have is to make sure you rent a golf cart/or car. You NEED it. Getting up and down the hillside on foot would be almost impossible.

Basically a private 5 star hotel

Absolutely loved our stay at villa samsara. The location could not be better. Just far enough to have privacy and peace, but close enough to make it easy to get to town. The views and villa are out of this world. Pictures do not do it justice. It really felt like we had a private hotel to ourselves. The rooms/beds were super comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Alejandra was quick to respond to any questions and accommodated our request to have a dozen guests over for a family event. Only things to consider : The hill is indeed very steep but not that long. You’ll want a car or cabs/ubers to get groceries or go to town. The pool is mostly shaded during the day. It was still great to lounge by and we enjoyed it very much. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Long weekend with girlfriends

Villa Samsara was the perfect location to celebrate my upcoming wedding with girlfriends and family. It was Pura Vida! Alejandra was extremely helpful and informative with all our inquiries. The house was beautiful and comfortable for 13 guests. We will definitely return to Villa Samsara with the family.

The pool had absolutely no sun therefore we spent lots of money to go to a beach club instead after paying tons of money for the villa rental. The kitchen being on a different level from the pool is not ideal.

Exceeded All Expectations

It completely lived up to our expectations and beyond! The view is amazing and its location is perfect for its proximity to all Tamarindo has to offer. The house was super clean and the cleaning service was perfect. Everything worked in the house and the air conditioning was like new. This is a high end home and the manager was great to work with. We would recommend it to anyone.

Amazing view minutes from all the action

Our family of 10 (13 - 53 yrs old) arrived at Villa Samsara not sure it could top the beautiful resort we had just come from near the Arenal volcano. Boy were we wrong! The views from this magnificent home are simply amazing. We ventured out by car to the local shops, restaurants (walked down a couple of times) and beach but couldn’t wait to get back up to our oasis on the side of the mountain. The house was spotless when we arrived and kept clean every day. There is plenty of space to relax together comfortably or have privacy in our rooms when we wanted it. The pool was refreshing to come back to after our daily activities. Alejandra and Karla responded quickly and were helpful with any questions about the house and area. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend it to any large group traveling to the area.

Beautiful property
