Esta villa exclusiva ofrece impresionantes vistas al océano y al hábitat natural que se pueden disfrutar desde la gran terraza del segundo piso. Con 3 dormitorios y 3 1/2 baños, esta lujosa casa de 3900 pies cuadrados tiene capacidad para 8 personas y cuenta con una rica decoración, techos abovedados, impresionantes detalles de madera, entradas arqueadas, una cocina gourmet con encimeras de granito y amplias salas de estar.

La villa está ubicada en la comunidad privada y segura frente al mar de Palma Real. Una vez que ingresas a las puertas de Palma Real puedes sentir la energía del océano y el calor del sol. Puedes escuchar las olas rompiendo en la playa y los sonidos de pájaros exóticos cantando en los árboles. Cuando te sientas en la terraza, tu cuerpo absorbe toda esta energía positiva y comienzas a sentir la verdadera esencia de Pura Vida

Access to the Beach Club was awesome. The house had ample space and the balcony was a game changer. It was beautifully decorated and modern. Owner was very communicative and the security was friendly and gave us piece of mind. It was close enough to Tamarindo but also far enough away to feel like we were secluded.

Nice trip!

We enjoyed our time in Costa Rica! This property is very nice! It’s comfortable, clean, good location, pretty view from second floor balcony. Close to the Marriott if you want to eat at their restaurants…we went to their steakhouse, Sabanero and also had lunch at their poolside restaurant. We also enjoyed ice cream from Waves and Cream on their property. Hacienda Pinilla is very pretty. This property is very close to the beach (3 minute walk) and we enjoyed snorkeling right there. We saw monkeys many times and that was fun! We had trouble with security at check in and spent a little over an hour waiting at the gate for it to be straightened out. That was a frustrating way to start our trip, but Mark worked it out for us. We went to the Beach Club one of the days expecting to be able to use it for the 5/person fee, but it has changed to 45/person if your rental property doesn’t have a membership. You can still eat in the restaurant there without the fee and we did have lunch there and it was good.We didn’t rent a car so relied on car service. We would rent a car next time.

Wished we could have stayed longer!

This is a beautiful home that has everything we needed. The home is very well appointed and has everything you'd need in a home away from home. It was very clean and is exactly as shown in the listing. The property manager is very responsive and answered my (many!) questions. This home is in a beautiful gated community (it is about a 15 minute drive to the town center/beach of Tamarindo). We drove into town for dinner every night. We preferred to stay in the safety, laid back/quiet and remote vibe. The beach that is right in front of the home is beautiful but rocky (not great for swimming/wave jumping). We drove a few minutes to get beach access (within Hacienda Pinella) to enjoy the "rock-free" beach beside beach club. This was a beautiful (private?) beach and did not have the crowds and beach peddlers we saw at a public beach in Tamarindo. There is also a small pool about 50 yards from the home. I would recommend this home to any family.

tropical beauty

Located right on the coast, we watched the breaking waves in the distance from the bedroom balconies. The bedrooms are quite large and each has its own full bathroom. The kitchen is complete and there is a counter and stools for breakfast as well as a large table for more formal dining. The washer and dryer worked well and the internet was seamless. The property is in a gated community of Hacienda Pinella and is easily reached by following signs to the Marriott as it is located in the development over. There is a small convenience store on grounds with limited hours so grocery shop before you arrive. The development has three pools to choose from within walking distance and there is plenty of parking in front. This was a birthday vacation for us and we thoroughly enjoyed it with family. We enjoyed a full day tour discovering the rain forest, waterfalls, sloths, flowers and birds. We witnessed the sea turtles laying eggs on the beach at night and loved the catamaran trip. The food was fantastic in the local restaurants and costs much less than what we pay at home. We also loved their happy hour specials. Our host, Mark, was very responsive when we asked him specific questions about the house and the area. This was a relaxing vacation in a house and location that is truly a tropical beauty. I would not think twice about returning to this special place.

Great vacation

Our family of 4 ( 2 adults, 2 teens) really appreciated this rental. Coming from a short stay in the Arenal region we stayed at the house only 4 days. At the arrival we had a hard time finding the house since we were told unit 206 and should have looked for unit 6. Once we found it we were happy to find that it was just as the pictures , no surprises . The entire complex/resort is huge, safe and quiet. The pool is a minute walk and is clean. We were able to rent surfs and boogie boards at the beach club, which is about a 3 minutes drive. We enjoyed the waves! My deception is that there is no beach chair on the beach. If you want a chair you have to stay at the beach club. The food at the beach club was excellent. We also went to Lola’s enjoyed the food , the surf and the beach. But what we appreciated the most was playa Langosta which is just a short 5 min drive in the same secured complex. We were almost alone on that magnificent beach. Thanks to Mark for advising us not to miss this beach. We also drove to Tamarindo and a little further up north and we were very happy that we had we reserved at Hacienda Pinilla. Tamarindo is crowded and very touristic. The Marriott is just a short walk we enjoyed an excellent dinner at one of the restaurants. The beach of the Marriott is accessible by a short 5 min walk but it is not the nicest, there was algae and lots of rocks. At the house, everything we needed was available. The thing I was missing is my espresso machine! However, there was a percolator and Costa Rican coffee is good! The BBQ grill needs to be changed but it wasn’t a problem since we only had to use it once. The phone and sound system weren’t working. I wrote an email to the owner and next morning Mr Percy was knocking at the door explaining that it wasn’t working but they were trying to fix it. A good thing my daughter had brought her Bluetooth speaker. To communicate with Mr Percy we were encouraged to use What’sApp. The beds were confortable and the view from the balcony was very nice. My sun really enjoyed the hammock. Thanks to Mark he always answered my questions rapidly. Would we return? Absolutely, for a longer stay!

Quiet Beach Vacation Location

Beautiful home in a cluster of similar homes all connected with parking in front and a semiprivate swimming pool across the parking apron. Nice view of the Pacific ocean from the upstairs porch. Must see the sunsets from there: gorgeous! Three bedrooms upstairs. And one downstairs which has extra firm mattresses on the two beds. Only the grandkids found these comfortable. The kitchen is modern with enough furnishings for a large family to use. There is abundant storage space throughout the home for even an extended stay vacation. The property is far from any town so you would need a car to really enjoy this location. If you plan to be at the property a while you might stock up on the way in. The beach has lots of volcanic rock lava flow which is very evident at low tide. At high tide the beach appears to be all sand but the lava rock is hidden under the water. Great beach to walk on but made swimming there difficult for our young grandchildren. Our arrival was not as efficient as many other properties we have stayed at over the years. We did arrive an hour early to find the maids just beginning to clean since the previous tenants had just left. The maid advised us that check in was 4pm but the notice from Mark said 3pm. When we did return at 4pm we found the lock box on the front door stuck and not easily opened. Mark directed me to the hidden key and we did get access. Our daughter-in-law finally succeeded in opening the stuck lock box. Unlike most other vacation rentals there was no one to greet us and show us the property. All the other vacation rentals in Costa Rica we have enjoyed over the last 10 years had a local contact who welcomed us and showed us the operation of the various HVAC units and appliances plus was available to answer questions and offer suggestions for shopping and dining. Other properties also had a notebook or other manual which included the house rules, appliance operation, local area information and critical phone numbers all of which makes for a much more pleasant stay. When asked about the drinkability of the water Mark said he heard it was safe to drink but he didn't drink it. Nor does he provide bottled water. His statement gave concern to my family so we went and purchased our own water. If you do have concerns about drinking water discuss this with Mark before your arrival. Overall our threes days with family here were quite enjoyable for all of us. The location of the pool very close to the house was great!

Christmas trip!

Such a wonderful trip. Beautiful secure and gated community in hacienda pinilla ! Absolutely beautiful house .. Mark was available for a couple questions we had .. thank you ! Ocean views and sunsets from 2nd floor. Just a short walk to Bonita beach with beautiful sunsets. Walk down to jw marriot on beach or thru property. Short drive to hacienda pinilla beach club .. pay $10 pp but then get that credit towards food/drink. Enjoy large pool, beach and gym. Surfing at that beach was so fun to watch. Food was good as well. Nice Pool right outside the front of the villa and another one just a short walk from villa. Medical available right inside hacienda pinilla which was very nice as my mom hurt her leg and was great to visit them on-site. Many restaurants about 10-15 min drive .. Lola’s and can’t recall other across the way great food and beautiful sunsets to watch while eating and watch surfing. Drive about 30 min to Tamarindo where we did fishing and catamaran trips. Rented car by Liberia airport drive to villa was maybe 1 hr 40 min or so to Villa and a store about 10 min away. Highly recommend this location and Villa !

Beautiful villa , tranquil setting , great for relaxation

My family had a wonderful stay in this villa. The property is brand new and has beautiful and comfortable decor. The wifi is great and works better than what we have at home. The kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay. I would highly recommend this villa. We saw so much wildlife from the second floor patio and also next to the villa. It is a very short walk to Playa Bonita where you can watch beautiful sunsets.

Beautiful villa…highly recommended

This property was perfect for our vacation. It met and exceeded our expectations. Mark was always available to us during our stay. Beautiful villa and great beach view just a few minutes away from the beach and from the JW Marriott. The pool was fantastic within walking distance from the villa. The only challenge we faced were the dirt roads to get to the villa but this is out of Mark’s control. Would suggest an outside grill to complete the entire outdoor experience. Plan to stay here again in the future! Highly recommended!!

Amazing getaway in beautiful setting.

The property is located in a beautiful 4500 acre reserve. The entire property is very serene amd peaceful from the beaches to the jungle and most of all the sunsets with the sound of waves in the background. The house was very spacious and comfortable and enjoyed breakfasts outside and dinners around the large kitchen table. There were 6 horses that run in the pasture right in front of the house and my kids fed them every morning. Mark was a great host and very timely amd responsive to our questions. Great experience end to end. We would love to come back and stay again.

Costa Rica Hacienda Pinilla Palma Real Villa

We had a wonderful stay here. Property was nice and very conveniently located to the JW Marriott. Just be aware that you cannot use the swimming pool facilities at the hotel, but there is a pool for the villas to use.

Great vacation in Costa Rica

Great location in Tamarindo

Great location with access to both JW Marriott and Beach Club. Mansita beach is a short walk from Villa location. Our group enjoyed our stay. Mark provided great suggestions on activities and dining options. Our group would definitely stay at this location again.

This place is amazing! I hesitate to leave this glowing review because I want to keep it secret and quiet just like it is. Despite being in a row of 5 houses, it is quiet, secluded, and gorgeous. House was beautiful and clean inside. A few minutes walk to Mansita beach, but most days we drove to Pinilla Beach Club on Playa Avellanas. I would return here again and again. My favorite beach ever!

Villa in Paradise

From the moment we first contacted the owner until our departure, the stay at this villa was incredible. It was furnished beautifully and everything we needed for our stay was included (some nice touches like beach towels, extra paper towels and spices). The views were amazing and it was great to be able to use the local beach club. We hope to return again.

It's surrounded by some of Costa Rica's most pristine beaches and is just a few minutes outside of the beautiful town of Tamarindo. It's a short walk to the five star JW Marriott Resort, which has some of the best restaurants in the area and a beautiful spa.
