Very nice home and well-appointed. Any thing we could have wanted or needed was there. Loved the location and easy access to all Cambria has to offer. And the bonus, Mother Nature treated us to the most incredible and beautiful sunset I have ever witnessed.

Reviewer Comments: The house was well appointed with kitchen equipment, filtered water, an ice maker, plenty of linens, paper goods and everything you might need. The yard and deck are great for dogs and their humans with lots of trees and plenty of shade. It was nice to have 2 bedroom suites. A note to dog owners: the see-through stairs scared our corgi so we had to carry her up and down 3-flights which was ok bc she is small; however a few years back we had a 86-lb golden afraid of the open stairs too and we wouldn’t have been able to carry him. We know now to check on this before booking any place. The Roku wasn’t working so SCP and the owner were most kind in helping us in a timely manner. It was nice to have a garage to park in and it definitely felt like a well loved home.

The air is pure and fresh. The house is comfortable and welcoming and the patio is a great addition. Our dog loves it there because there is a self enclosed yard. Lots of stairs

Had a nice stay. Loved that the house was nicely decorated as many Vrbos don't bother with the ambiance. The yard was fully enclosed but just dirt and leaf litter which was okay cause it didn't rain but could have been baabapppppppproblemproblemotherwise.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved this home. We have stayed all over Cambria and used Scenic Coast for all our bookings. The home offers a lovely covered and uncovered deck and expansive views to the west. You can even see Hearst Castle when its clear. The neighborhood is fun to walk to around in and we easily drove to the beach and/or west and east villages in no time. It is also a nice quiet dark neighborhood with little light pollution at is dog friendly and the fenced yard was great for our large dog. The only issues were that the bed in the primary suite is a queen and there is no door, just two curtains. This offers little privacy and a king bed would offer more comfort. The kitchen is great and provided us with all the necessary utensils and appliances. This home is lovely and has obviously been loved by the owners who have taken care of it while also renting it out to families like ours.

Skyhigh Fun!

We almost always stay in a different rental house when we come. The Skyhigh Retreat did not disappoint. Plenty of room for us, our 20 year old daughter, and our two dogs. Love the fenced in back yard! We love the area, too, because of all the wildlife we get to see: deer, hawks, wild turkeys, hummingbirds, and swallows are some faves. The kitchen had everything needed to make a meal at home. We ended up eating out for every meal because we always want to hit our favorite restaurants when we’re in town: Linn’s for breakfast and desserts (and any meal, really), Main Street Grill for burgers and ribs, Friday afternoon farmers market for all sorts of goodies, Luigi’s pizza, Robins, Hidden Kitchen on the weekend, The Spot (Sweet & Savory Crepes!) Mezzo Italiano, Indigo Moon, so many favorites. One word of caution for potential renters: There are a lot of stairs to deal with at Skyhigh. It’s nice that you can park in the garage, and then it’s one flight of stairs up to the main living area (kitchen, living room, bathroom, and 1 bedroom). And then it’s another flight of stairs up to the third level to the main bedroom. Not really a problem for us once we were there, but not great when you’re lugging suitcases in and out. The house also needs a good power wash outside for all the dust and cobwebs all over the house and windows - but the new back deck was spotless, which was fantastic! Definitely recommend. Would definitely stay here again!

Stayed in this home several years ago and nothing has changed except for the nice addition to the backyard deck. The home is very well cared for and in great condition. Extremely clean and well stocked for your basic necessities...bring a few groceries and you won't need to leave if you don't feel like it.The dog safe backyard is great if you are bringing dogs with you. Like the title, the open airy view provides the feeling of living in the treetops and the home design allows for plenty of light.We adventured out for daily walk/hike-abouts with our dogs and maybe a meal then back in the PM to a very comfy hangout. Highly recommend!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at this house many times and the recent upgrades were a pleasant surprise. The house is always neat and clean and is fully equipped. While not being familiar ROKU TV made it difficult and a frustrating to watch TV.While the property management was professional if you do not like interacting with people. I prefer talking and meeting with the people I am dealing with. This might have been good during Covid, but not now! There was a small problem that looks like it resolved itself, but it would have been nice to communicate that upon check out.

Beautiful home!

We absolutely loved the house and the location. All the windows and natural light were our favorite part about this home. The bed was extremely comfortable and everything was very clean and cozy! The fenced in yard was great for our dog too

Quiet retreat

Lots of light coming in upstairs with all the windows and a sky light, views, balconies for watching the stars, and a fully stocked kitchen. Very peaceful, and nice neighborhood for walks with the dogs. Very clean. Only thing to note is that the beds are not Kings, and my husband is tall so that wasn’t ideal. Also there are alot of stairs so harder for elderly dogs to go up and down (we have a very old senior so had to carry him up and down). Overall nice property and location.
