The location is off the charts fabulous. The house was very comfortable and cozy. Great layout. Good amenities. My only issue, and the reason for the 4-star rating, is that the internet went out during my stay and despite following the very detailed instructions left by the host, I was unable to get it restarted. My cell service was also terrible but I think that's on AT&T, not the host. Thankfully I brought some books with me. Oh, one minor complaint. The lighting in the house is very poor. But despite the issues I had, I really enjoyed my stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband, dog Kaia and I thoroughly enjoyed our 8-day stay. We absolutely loved being a 2-minute walk to Fiscalini Ranch to take long walks along the ocean or in the pines. You can hear the ocean from the front deck and master bedroom. The beds were comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. It is cozy but not cramped. The only down-side is the hot tub heating up was a bit noisy when I escaped my husband's snoring in the second bedroom. I am a light sleeper. Everything else was dreamy. Can't wait to return for a longer stay! Thank you so much!

We loved staying at this lovely home right next to the ranch. The views are as advertised and we loved being able to walk the preserve with our dog everyday. The home, though small is well designed and very practical in how things have been laid out, which we loved.

We've always admired the Marine Terrace area and the "Crow's Nest" is not only in our favored location, it is pet friendly and immediately adjacent to a Fiscalini Ranch Preserve hiking trail and has a beautiful view of the ocean. My favorite spot was the roomy master bedroom. A warm and cozy area for afternoon reading as well as a comfortable bed for luxurious sleep - the sound of the ocean was a bonus day and night. I'm particular about cleanliness - the Nest was spotless. I'm looking forward to our next visit.

Nice home with a beautiful view

Nice home in a peaceful location with a beautiful view from the main floor deck and master bedroom windows. I think it is best suited for a couple or small family. Be prepared for stairs.

Great Place!

Great views and you can hear the ocean really well (especially at night), which is a huge plus. Right by the Fiscalini Preserve, which is such a great place to hike/walk. The place was super clean and comfortable. It was also very quiet. We would definitely stay here again.

Coastal Getaway

My wife and I stayed here for our wedding weekend and it was exactly what we needed. The views of the coast were spectacular and it was steps away from Fiscalini Ranch. We’d definitely stay here again!

I recently stayed at The Crow's Nest in August 2024. The home was clean and comfortable, and it was in a great location. I especially loved that they allow pets AND I could park in the garage. If I could change anything, it would be to have a king-size bed in the master bedroom instead of a queen. I did have a few issues during my stay that were totally out of the owner/landlord's control. The power in the neighborhood went out frequently, twice for over an hour during our five-day stay. The neighbor across the street said it happens all the time, and I did hear a few backup generators fire up each time, so it must be an ongoing issue. Also, there was a lot of daytime noise from landscaping, construction, etc. However, these issues didn't detract from my overall enjoyment of the property.

We usually stay in Cambria at a hotel on Moonstone Beach, but everything was booked.I found this home and thought the location looked great. We were not disappointed. The location was so ideal. It was steps away from the trailhead, and the sounds of the ocean came in from the open balcony doors. It has all the comforts of home and a very private and quiet neighborhood feel.

Beautiful!!

Lovely pacific coast view waters edge hiking area for active romantic getaway.

Enjoyed a very romantic escape to this tri-level home with pacific coast views and waters edge hiking area for active lifestyle visitors . The home was comfortable and the sounds of the ocean in bed was very calming.

There are gorgeous ocean views from the living room and master bedroom. It is less than a 5-minute walk to the ocean and the unbelievably gorgeous ocean bluff walk across the Fiscalini Ranch.Make your next stay in Cambria at the Crow's Nest. You will not be disappointed.
