The location of the property is perfect everything close bye! Robin’s for dinner recommended by owner was fabulous. Hearst castle just down the road, Moonstone beach boardwalk fabulous.

Location and overall house function and comfort are excellent, and. would justify attention to cosmetic touch ups and deferred maintenance. We were three couples/old friends reuniting and it served our needs perfectly.

Cambria stay

This property is great for kids as it’s across the street from a playground and pool. And just beyond that is the ocean which connects to a great walking trail. the house supplies almost everything you would need to stay for a few days. Some of the activities that they have recommended on there welcome sheet are no longer available such as the lighthouse and NITWIT RIDGE house

House Location Excellent

Our group of 6 enjoyed this house. You can’t beat the location across street from beach and park, views were great. Our group enjoyed the bedrooms, kitchen, living and dining room. Given our make up of two couples and 2 single adults, the house worked great for our needs. Kitchen is well stocked and we cooked at house 4 of 5 nights during our stay. We would rent again.

Great location & place!!

Property was spacious for the 4 of us & my fur-baby. Upon arrival, even though the internet was down, it was fixed promptly and communication with the host Melinda was superb. She even let us check in early & late check out - which was awesome since it was so hard to leave. Can’t wait to return for more memories, laughter & fun!

A Must Stay!

Our stay in Cambria could not have been better. The house is spacious, well-appointed and in the perfect location. The views of the ocean from both porches makes them the perfect place for a morning cup of coffee or evening glass of wine. Slept so well listening to the sound of the ocean waves. Across the street is a park and swimming pool. Our host could not have been more helpful. We enjoyed the many shops in Cambria and went 5 miles north to watch the elephant seals twice. We will definitely return and book again.

Family visiting from overseas

Family and friend reunion. Loved the ocean, park, hiking trails, Hearst Castle, and all the little coastal towns. The elephant seals, otters, and bird life were precious. The house was in a perfect location. So many things to do. Loved the layout of the house and the view of the ocean at all times. Cooked most meals at home and the layout of the house was perfect for sleeping and socializing. The host was easy to communicate with and very hospitable.

You pay for the location!

The location of this property is great. You are right across from a great beach and park. You can see the sun setting in the evenings, and there is a patio facing it all. I loved the location. The house is old and outdated. It was adequate but not impressive. I felt uncomfortable opening blinds for fear they would fall off the windows. If you don't need to spend a lot of time in the house, this is a great place to stay.

Wonderful location for a beach house in Cambria

This large house was quite clean and the location couldn't be better. It's not fancy or stylish but a nice house and easy to feel comfortable there. A nice big screen Roku tv adds to the charm.

Amazing sounds of crashing surf

We have stayed here before and hope to stay again. The home is very comfortable for a group of 6 and could accommodate more. The proximity to Cambria made getting to the holiday lights very easy and that was an incredible experience. The trip to Cayucos and Morro Bay is also easy and permits There are great places to eat in all three cities. There's antique shopping in Cayucos and many shops along the Embarcadero in Morro Bay. There's something for everyone.

Beach House

We had a marvelous stay. We were directly across the street from the ocean and could hear the waves at night. The house was very clean and roomy. Really enjoyed our stay and will be looking to possibly staying at this house next year.

Timelessly perfect location with retro charm

Our party of six (four adults, a baby, and a spaniel) loved this stay. Nightly beach walks, deer drive-bys, and daily fetch- something for everyone! It’s an easy walk to town for coffee or sandwiches. Having the park and the beach so accessible was great. Downstairs the house has an older, but usable ping pong table (BYOBalls), air hockey and arcade basketball. We had fun playing there. Thoughtful touches included nightlights, plenty of silverware and serve wear. Basic coffee service is convenient for early morning caffeine. Also super nice surprise: lovely bottle of Cabernet! This house has everything you need for a fun stay. Some things and decor might be considered “dated,” but we found it charming. It reminded us of beach houses our parents rented - in a good way!
