Everything was as expected from the reviews I read. There were four of us using two bedrooms, andwe enjoyed the ocean views from inside and on the deck.

There are no longer “lovely panoramic views”

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The photo from the living room is OUTDATED. There are now Venetian blinds on every window (except one where it is obvious there used to be one). The blinds cant be raised. There are two trees that have grown and further obscure the view.The driveway is extremely steep. The ability to see cars coming down the very steep hill as you are exiting is obscured by bushes on the uphill side.The property was clean enough. We have been visiting Cambria for decades. We enjoyed the beach boardwalk on Moonstone.Since I rented the house based upon the description of lovely panoramic views and the picture in the living room, I was sorely disappointed.Due to the disappointing views and the steep driveway I won’t be renting here again.At this price point the furnishings and amenities were fine.My husband was unable to login to the wifi. He has an Android machine. My Apple devices were able to logon so he used my iPhone as a hot spot.I believe some of the pictures in the listing are taken from a height that makes it unrealistic that you will see the same view.

Great Views

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We knew the house was dated because of the reviews and pictures. We decided to give it a try because of the views. We brought up our own extra tall folding chairs which worked out great for the deck! Sitting up higher gave you an amazing view of the ocean than sitting in one of the lower chairs provided. The house is dated, clean, roomy and comfortable. The windows in the main living room needs cleaning and the pine trees below the windows are overgrown. This unfortunately blocked the views. We would consider renting from this property again, but would like the overgrown pine trees to be trimmed and the windows cleaned so we can all enjoy the views from inside the home.

Cambria stay

The house was as pictured and described. The rooms were spacious and clean. The check-in process was simple and straight forward given the directions provided. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and appliances you might need. My only negative deedback is that the driveways has a very steep decline which can be challenging to maneuver especially is you are driving a smaller vehicle such as a sedan or coupe. The pictures do not really reflect how steep the decline in and took a few tines to figure out the best angle to enter the driveway without scraping the bottom of the vehicle.

Home in Cambria

We had a lovely short vacation in this lovely home. The situation of the property is excellent with lovely sea views. The property is old but very clean.The only unfortunate thing was that the dishwasher was broken upon arrival which was a disadvantage, but on the whole the house is very nice.

Great views and Vibes at Moonstone Beach

The 180 degree ocean views were breathtaking and the neighborhood was so quiet and peaceful. At night the stars shines so brightly. My husband and I were on our Babymoon and this was the perfect place to feel cozy and safe. The house could use a little updating on the furniture but besides that everything was in working order and we definitely plan to rent it again next trip.

Perfect getaway

The property was as listed, except the views far exceeded the photos on the website! Kitchen had all the amenities to cook a nice meal. Bathrooms were clean, with plenty of towels and toilet paper. Very close to town, ships, restaurants and other amenities. I came with my daughter, son in law and 2 grand babies!

Great view and plenty of room.

Plenty of pros. The house is near the ocean and up on a hill so the view of the ocean was beautiful and when you opened the windows you could hear the ocean. The layout of the house was great. There was plenty of seating in the living room. We had a wonderful time. I had read the house was dated, it was blue and mauve, but that did not bother us. I had also read the carpet was stained. It was. The carpet was the only con.

House on a steep road

We knew the house was going to be 1980s and that was fine. We love the front porch because we could hear the ocean. One morning we had a deer and fawn visit us. Window shutters were nice. Carpeting needs to be replaced. The pink carpeting must be from the 1980s. The beige carpeting was old too. It needs to be shampooed. House could have been cleaner. It is dangerous exiting the driveway because the road is very steep and the exit is right below a blind drop off. Master bathroom is missing a curtain or blinds and it looks right in the neighbors’ windows. We left coffee and creamer for the next guests. We also left juice and water in the refrigerator. The rental staff was very friendly and helpful.

SISTER reunion

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My sister and I have enjoyed staying at this property many times and have always loved the view. The house is dated but has been very cozy and comfortable. This time we were quite aware however, of a good amount of needed maintenance. The furniture and floors were not very clean, the bedding is in need of replacement and the blinds are broken and we were not able to close them.We decided that we will not stay here again until some needed repairs are done and we have booked another property for our next visit. The view is beautiful but the house is not up to rental standards.

Beautiful views

We stood the weekend at this beautiful place. The view is amazing, the rooms are a good size, quiet neighborhood, friendly city. Things are a little outdated, and the house does have some wear and tear but that honestly didn’t bug me, we really enjoyed the house over all. We would definitely come back and stay.

Rating Details: The vacation rental was clean. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I read reviews about the issue with getting into the driveway and boy were they NOT wrong. Our car hit bottom several times. But the view is amazing! Entering the home was a “wow”! Everything is so dated like we just entered grandma Judy’s 1970’s home. The only thing updated was the tv which still had a few years on it. I joked that we should have been told to BYOK bring your own kitchen because everything in there was old and really needs to be thrown away. Not to mention the ant problem that someone else also mentioned. We had to go to the store to purchase ant killing products .The beds were comfortable and there was at least paper provided for us. Overall stay ok yes it could have been better considering we rent a home to spend time in the home.

The view and location of the property was outstanding. I loved the sitting room with the open windows and the cozy fireplace. The check-in process was a little archaic, I like the lock box method better, especially because we got in a little later than expected and the there was a blackout! The house was beautiful but needs some cleaning and upgrades. Some of he cookware was unsafe to use (pans) and we felt we had to wash everything before we used them, some dirty old dishes. Could use a new coffee pot with some coffee provided for the first day until guests can get to the grocery store. Need to treat for ants, after 10 minutes of cooking the ants would appear on the kitchen sink. Overall we enjoyed our stay but should be aware of the above suggestions.
