Great hosts, great location

Wonderful apartmwnt in an inn with magnificent garden. Close to the beach and to a state park where one can enjoy the beach and kayaking. Theismagnificent.

Pearl Jam at Hard Rock

Friend and I came for two Pearl Jam shows and stayed at this awesome location. Our apartment was clean and comfortable. We spent a lot of time in the tiki hut listening to music and drinking beer. Beach is a stone throw away as well as the broadwalk well within walking distance. Host was awesome and gave great recommendations for restaurants and bars. Will definitely stay here again should I have an opportunity.

A wonderful experience

The property is clean, airy , neat , the grounds are impeccably kept , the owner’s response to every request was immediate and courteous ! The closeness to the ocean and the safety of the neighborhood are unparalleled . I highly recommend this place for a relaxing , unassuming and fully enjoyable time in Hollywood beach !

Lovely place to relax

The room was perfect my daughters and me. Brian and his wife were some welcoming. There was food and drinks waiting for us upon arrival. Highly recommend if you’re in this area. Skip the broad walk though as its really gone down hill sadly. Very thankful for our time here.

Wonderful outdoor space with Exceptional owners!!

We had a great relaxing stay at Desoto Beach House! The owners take great pride in creating a beautiful outdoor space with comfy outdoor sofas, a hammock and 2 eating areas, surrounded by exotic plants. Ample beach chairs, bikes and beach gear are provided and make enjoying the Hollywood boardwalk and beach fun! Brian and Aleyda were wonderful hosts and treat all of their guests like friends!! Thank you for being so thoughtful!!

Fantastic find

Loved the property, its facilities, location and the host. Totally as beautiful instead more than you see in the pictures. Literally 15 steps away from a beautiful clean part of Dania beach. Safe neighborhood, perfect go stay with a. Young family. Fully equipped kitchen. The host was available on text and weee very nice and warm each time. Can it say enough, we loved every moment there. Thank you Brian for being a wonderful host and keeping the place with so much love. Will make sure we visit again. Cheers!

Perfect

The outdoor space is what sucked me in, it feels like a secluded garden - I was out there a lot! My teens and I stayed for 5 days and it was perfect. The apartment is clean, cute, comfortable and well furnished. I appreciated the snacks and drinks stocked in the fridge - so nice when just getting into town. The beach is an easy walk, lovely and not crowded. The ability to take the bikes to the Broadwalk is such a great amenity. Brian and Aleyda were available and gracious. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. I hope to come back!

Exquisite Delight!

This is one of those properties that you want to keep hidden for yourself so the next time you want to book it, it's there for you. The hosts Brian & Aleyda are on top of everything and very helpful and hospitable. The property and atmosphere is as relaxing and laid back as it looks. Great outside space right in the courtyard. Sunrises and the beach are steps away and all the niceties are provided. We enjoyed all that this property had to offer and the location was so much nicer then being in the hustle and bustle, yet close enough if you wanted to go there. We'll be visiting again because we really felt like we had a vacation! Thanks!

Perfect Getaway!

The Desoto Beach House is a beautiful, comfortable retreat! The owners are welcoming and friendly, leaving a wide variety of beverages in the refrigerator, and bringing cookies and watermelon slices for us to enjoy. The room, building, grounds, and neighborhood are safe, clean, beautiful, and comfortable. It’s a super short walk to the beach. Don’t want to walk, ride one of the provided, bikes! Use the provided beach chairs and umbrella, if you forget your own! Our family cannot wait to return to Desoto Beach House, a true diamond!

As advertised

We loved everything about the property. It was in a great location, very private and quiet. We felt like every restaurant was within walking distance. There were grocery stores that delivered, and were very quick to do so, nearby. The beach was the shortest walk and everything we needed to relax on vacation was provided and at the property. Brian and Aleyda are tremendous hosts and very easy to communicate with. We had issues with our flights being delayed and/or canceled and they were very helpful with the check in process. It made a very stressful day a little easier and allowed us to enjoy the rest of the week unbothered by any issues because they had everything. 5 stars

Beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, this vacation rental was perfect for a girls weekend .

Wow! This apartment was just perfect for my family. We rented this apartment to celebrate my mother's 90th birthday.The first floor apartment had just a few stops so it was easy for my mom to walk out onto the veranda, and sit in a comfy chair to look out at the garden. The beach was less than a block away, so my two daughters could get started swimming and sunning if we had a little bit of cleaning up to do . If it was kayaking we wanted, we could bike to a local national Park. If you wanted a little bit of action-packed sightseeing, all we had to do was bike ride south to Hollywood Beach. Best of all the owner's father lives right on the property and he was available for any questions. The owner's mother lived nearby also, so she helped us settle in. We are already planning to visit again soon!

Quiet Stay in Paradise!

Me and my husband stayed at apartment #5 last month. We flew into FLL airport and this property was about a 15 minute drive from the airport (we rented a car). The North Beach part of Hollywood is a lot more peaceful and more private than the Broadwalk. But, the Broadwalk is just a short drive away or 10-15 min bike ride away. Brian and Aleyda are fantastic hosts! Communication was great - they let us know our apartment was unlocked with the keys on the counter. We had a bowl full of an assorted snacks waiting for us. The fridge was stocked with bottled water and a nice bottle of white wine, which was refreshing after a day of traveling. Brian also met us on our first day, while we relaxed in the beautiful gardens on the property. He stopped by to introduce himself and even brought us a bowl of fresh fruit and coffee cake. Owners definitely go above and beyond to make sure the guests and property are taken care of. We saw them daily tending to the property and taking care of the gardens. We loved that beach equipment was provided. They provide beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards to name a few. Bikes are also available to borrow. Me and my husband enjoyed waking up early to watch the sunrise.... the beach is only about a 2 minute walk from the apartment. We loved our stay so much, that we are returning in about six months!

Fantastic Beach Stay

Our 8 day stay was perfect. The house was plenty big enough for 3 to sleep and friends to visit. Outside was a tropical paradise. We loved the bikes and the ease of getting to the nearby boardwalk and pier. Having the beach just steps away made a great start to the day! The kitchen was set up for cooking but this was my first ever vacation not turning on the stove! I was so happy all of the restaurants were close by for everyone to have a choice. Coming from SC I wanted to pack light. Having chairs already on hand made our trip so easy! I give this villa 5 stars and would definitely visit again! The owners are amazing and made sure we were taken care of all week! Dania Beach is a must⭐️

Lovely location

So much better than large, people filled hotels. Feels like you can really experience the natural flora of Florida even though the glitz and concrete are not that far away. It’s like an oasis, with any other items you need (groc,restaurants) right nearby. Wonderful hosts too.

Truly a wonderful place to stay! From booking to staying at this lovely place everything was a described and beautiful. The owners were fabulous and met all of our needs. We will definitely be back especially being steps away from the ocean. Beautiful gardens as well!

Lovely stay

My husband and I stayed for 15 nights. Brian and Aleyda were gracious and responsive hosts. The apartment was wonderful, with a gift basket of snacks, a bottle of wine, coffee, soda, and everything we needed to start our vacation. The shared space outside was inviting and allowed our work obligations to be pleasantly satisfied. We enjoyed the local restaurants on the boardwalk as well as the tiki tiki.

Just Fantastic . . .

We stay in vacation rentals about 4 times per year. This place is one of the best kept secrets that we have ever run across. Having lived in Dania for almost a decade (mind you it was a while ago), we planned a return trip. This place exceeded everything that we knew about the area. The hosts were FANTASTIC from start to finish. The property was a perfect depiction of the Hollywood/Dania Beach area. It had everything that we needed from the kitchen (they even left a couple of beers and bottle of wine in the fridge) to the bedroom. Even the uncrowded beach was only 100 steps away and the property had chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, whatever was needed. I honestly cannot say enough about this place and if we are ever returning to the area, this is the one that we will go out of our way to look up. Thanks for the great long weekend!

My amazing husband, friend and dream chaser told me a long time ago, when we were dating specifically, that he wanted to own a beach property he could share with his family and friends. It was a nice dream to have.
At the time, I did not know how outlandish this dream was - the hopeless romantic that I am said "trust and we will have it, you will see".
Hollywood beach is were we first lived when we got married 17 years ago. It was at this beach that we promised to love each other and work hard to support each others paths. It was also at this beach were we have made friends that have become family.
Our life has been a dynamic adventure with ups and downs and sometimes side ways. Due to the economy and career we moved to work (and play) in NYC for nine years. But our hearts had always been in Hollywood beach - where we would go back and reconnect with our beloved family and friends.
On one of our visits a dear mentor and friend asked if we would be interested in purchasing an inn.
Not knowing much details but with a deep knowing that an opportunity had arrived we said YES!
Much prayer and hard work allowed for us to acquire this beautiful oasis.
And just like that - the dream of many years ago came to be.
We want to share this beautiful sanctuary of a property with you. Please enjoy it! Create joyful memories as you walk the grounds and the beach KNOW that dreams do come true. It has happen for us and it can happen for you.
