Unfortunately this was our first guest that no matter what we did, we just couldn't make Dante's group feel satisfied. As we explained to Dante's group, if you don't have the vents open to the heaters, the heat won't work. We did bring in space heaters because we didn't know what else to do. The radiant heat was working perfectly, but the group was closing the vents so the heat couldn't work properly. We have a rather large driveway that can accommodate a lot of cars. This is perfect for large groups, but if the cars are left in the driveway all day as explained, the plow service cannot do the driveway. We explained this to Dante multiple times with no response. Before Dante arrived, Breckenridge received over 6ft of snow. We had a scheduled roof shoveling service that couldn't get to the house until the storm was over. The leak did happen because of massive ice dams. We had the roof cleared as soon as the storm passed, and I apologized to Dante about the inconvenience and asked how we could make up for the issue. Dante replied it was not a big inconvenience. We have had this house for just over 2 years. We put a lot of time and money into gutting the house to make it the perfect vacation property. Our history has shown we take the guest experience very seriously. This is the first group we had to file an insurance claim on. The house was left a disaster. They spilled wine on the beds and food stains on the carpets. They also melted the thermostat to the fireplace because they left it on top of the fireplace while it was on. We take our guests experience very seriously. It does upset me when you are not able to accommodate them in any way. We try really hard to make their vacation an awesome experience. I do regret we just weren't able to make that happen with Dante.
