Welcome to Trinity House - Detached beach house, ideal for couples or a family with young children (perfect for a family of 4 plus an infant) - part of The Bay Filey holiday village - with pool and beach access nearby!

Detached beach house, ideal for couples or a family with young children
Trinity House is located in the centre of the village, close to the beach, tennis court, playground and village centre. Enjoy a spacious south facing terrace with long dog leads for your favourite friends to relax in the sun!

Enter Trinity House through the step free door into the hallway with storage for shoes and coats. To your left are the master bedroom with kingsize bed and ensuite shower room, and the second bedroom with two single beds.

There is also another shower room with jack-and-jill doors.

To the right is the open-plan kitchen / dining / lounge space with sumptuous leather sofas and SMART TV (with Netflix, amazon prime, Apple TV etc - bring your own logins). Exit through the large bifold doors to the deck with seating, ideal for alfresco dining or sitting out whilst the children play outside.

We leave a few games for our guests to use. The log burner makes this beach house warm and cosy for breaks all year round.

Comfortable short stay

We had a short stay at Trinity House. The beach house was in a great location; near to the amenities on site and the corner plot gave a little grassed area for kids to play. We loved the open plan arrangement and the en suite was handy and spacious. We love it at The Bay.

Lovely beach house :)

We stayed for a mon-fri break with our 2 children aged 10 and 14 and our little dog Skye. The beach house was perfect for us. Was well equipped with everything we needed and the welcome pack with tea/coffee/biscuits was a nice touch. We will definitely be back!

Great spray ever thing you needed was there great parking good spot to get to ever thing great that the dogs can use all the pub and not put in the corner over all great stay and coming back in a couple of months.

Short distance from the beach good standard of accommodation nice pub great food. The property I stayed in was pet friendly this allowed me to take my best mate.

Dog friendly stay close to the beach

The accommodation was as described and well equipped for an enjoyable stay near Filey. The best part was the perfect access to a wonderful stretch of beach. We didn’t use the leisure centre or eat in the pub but could see both were popular. We hope to return in the near future.

Family get away

Trinity House is a lovely beach lodge, close to all the facilities. We had a lovely time and it had everything we needed. Great customer service aswell, I'd left my bag and the owner took it home with him for my friend to collect. Would definitely stay again

The property was in an excellent location, it was very quiet it's what we like. The beachhouse was quite overlooked at two sides by other beachhouses but not a problem.

Trinity house

We had a wonderful stay at trinity house. The location is perfect for exploring the nearby coastline. We enjoyed the pub and restaurant. The single beds are caravan sized so they weren’t much good to my teenager and the master bed was very hard and uncomfortable. My friends were a few doors away and their mattress was lovely so it’s probably pot luck. I would go definitely go to the Bay again but I’d choose a larger unit with full sized single beds and hopefully a comfortable mattress

Good location

Great location and in a good position with two parking spaces. It has good onsite amenities and the surrounding areas are clean and tidy. However the house needs a good deep clean. Dust, cob webs and dog hairs very apparent. Carpets need cleaning or replacing. There was no handwash in the bathrooms or kitchen area and only one toilet roll. No basic condiments in the kitchen and a very basic welcome pack. In all the properties we have previously stayed in over many years this has been standard practice especially since Covid. Good communication before arrival with instructions etc. Disappointing check in is 5pm. Would love to stay again if it was brought up to a good standard.

Thank you for your review. We do however need to point out that the property was clean before your arrival and we have since been back to the property and deep cleaned the areas you pointed out. We note you didnt follow the instructions and advise of us anything wrong in the property whilst you were there choosing to highlight issues after you left which may have been caused by yourself. We would also have willingly let you in before 5pm as the property was clean but again you chose not to contact us to ask and we should point out the departure check is late at 11am to compensate.

Half term at Trinity House

Three visits to The Bay with Anchor Bay Holidays in a year what more can you say ? An excellent business to deal with and accommodation to suit every requirement. A very comfortable beach house with everything you could need.We enjoyed the double parking area on the front of the property and the walk in shower and the use of a washer/dryer was appreciated. A minor comment is that the cleaning was not quite up to speed, probably a product of the necessary quick turnarounds needed in the Summer months. We hope to see you again soon thank you x

Excellent lodge with everything you need

Excellent lodge with everything you need for a lovely break at the east coast. We visit Trinity House regularly and have never been disappointed. It’s always spotlessly clean. There are board games to play. A TV with a dvd player. A radio. Plenty of storage in the bedrooms. Both the showers are powerful. There is information for the local area and takeaway menus. The local pub onsite, the John Paul Jones welcomes dogs and has a good selection of beer, lager, cider wines and spirits. The food is what you would expect from a pub. And we’ve never had bad food from there.

The top of the cupboards was very dusty we put a shopping bag on the top when we got it down it was very dusty. The sink in the double bedroom very slow going down when you used it

Just the two of us

Trinity House worked so well for both myself and my very frail Mother. Two beds and two baths was perfect for us. Challenging about the tar seeping from the rail sleepers drive. Tip-toeing about to miss the tar was difficult as my Mother cannot walk well. Fortunately we had taken slippers to wear inside the property. No d/w tabs so we left some. No kitchen towel to dry hands on - we had taken our own. Needs a spare cupboard in the kitchen area to put food in. Flies were an issue. Too easy to bump leg on corner of double bed as tight squeeze with en-suite door and getting to wardrobe. Main bedroom blind beaded pull chain kept coming apart every time you raised the blind. Easy enough to put back together though. That is just the nit-picky bits as you had asked for feedback. Overall we loved it and had a great time there.

Trinity House

The property was well positioned but needed upgrading and cleaning properly. The twin bedroom was particularly unclean as were the windows. The sofa was uncomfortable and the kitchen table was badly positioned. The blind in the twin bedroom was broken, light streamed in through the round roof window in the main bedroom and the cafitiere was missing. The outside furniture needs replacing desperately.
