Great Stay on the Lake

We had the best time here. The house is in great condition and in a great location on the lake. Amazing dock area and nice water - multiple lounging areas at the house made it feel like we had lots of space. We can’t wait to return again soon!

Amazing hosts!

Such a beautiful location and the hosts are the best! The house’s layout was perfect with the main bedroom upstairs and a fabulous hangout and bedrooms downstairs. We loved the open floor plan and the screened in porches! We would recommend this to anyone!

Perfect for family time

This house has everything for a family to enjoy and allows for an “entertaining slow down” from your regular schedule. Beyond the lake and area hikes, we all loved playing ping pong and enjoyed the fire pit for a night of s’mores.

Great Lake home

Stayed for 3 nights with our family at this home and had a great time. The house is clean and had everything we needed. The outdoors area was awesome and provided tons of stuff to do. The location on the lake is very quiet without tons of boat traffic going by. Overall was a great property we’d stay at again!

Great location

We loved being on the water! Short drive to restaurants and grocery stores. It was very relaxing and our teenagers loved it! The kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of bath and lake towels. We had a wonderful time and we will definitely be back. Thanks Joe!

Great pet friendly property

We had a great time at our stay. We found the house had everything we need and a stocked kitchen with new appliances and a new grill. The boat house was great with nice seating and lovely views. We also loved the screened in porch. The fully fenced in yard gave us peace of mind with our dog. The house is also just a short drive to Clayton. We will definitely be back!

Loved this lakeside treehouse

Just spent three nights here and it was ideal for three friends, we all had great sleeping accommodations and the amenities were just right. The decks and porches offer outdoor space for any weather conditions (which sadly for us was rain). Joe was super responsive when we called with questions. Appreciated having the extra pantry items and also not having to take trash in our car!

New year weekend at Lake Burton

Upon arrival at the home we found a weather related situation that required immediate attention. We notified the property owner and he was immediately on top of it. The situation was handled Properlyand and a timely manner. We feel like he went above and beyond and making sure we were comfortable.

Love it! Fantastic home & location- a few things you should bring

We have stayed at 7 different houses in this price point at Lake Burton. This one is one of the better spots for sure. The porches, parking, short distance between house and lake, dock, paddle boards etc., cleanliness, fenced yard! Really- can't recommend it enough. A few things to make your stay even better- bring your own pillows for sure (even the kids complained!), throw blankets (none here), glassware (only 3 whiskey glasses- all others plastic), spices if you want to cook (not unusual to not have provided in a rental). We hope to rent this house again- cute house & great spot on the lake!

Fall Break

Had a great autumn weekend at this home. Our biggest concern was whether to sit on the screened at the house or head down to the screened porch on the boathouse. Throw in a some kayaks and paddleboards and a good time was had by all.

Beautiful and relaxing spot

Working with the owner was easy and pleasant. The outside spaces to enjoy the wonderful view and great outdoors are comfortable, enjoyable, and abundant. It was nice to have all of the necessary items to clean up well and leave the cottage as you would like for someone to leave your property. Constructive suggestions would be to add outside hand rails and a nice comfortable chair in the living area even if it is a little tight with two. We look forward to returning soon!!!!

Beautiful Views

We loved this amazing find on Lake Burton. It is always a treat to be able to take our dog with us as well. We were pleasantly surprised that the whole property was fenced - maybe we missed it in the description but what a wonderful thing for our dog. The views were stunning and we spent all of our time either looking out from the porch or sitting on the dock. Rent this place - you will want for nothing and be blown away by the beauty! The property manager was also very prompt and very nice to work with!
