Tranquilo, Scenic Farm Ver Guest House en el corazón de Lancaster Amish Country

Nos encantaría que usted venga y disfrute de nuestra casa construida fuera de nuestra granja familiar. Estamos en el corazón del país Amish, haciendo de nuestra casa un lugar perfecto para las familias que visitan el condado de Lancaster. Con Country Housewares (localmente llamado Amish Walmart) 200 pies por la carretera, el tráfico en nuestro camino de vuelta consiste en más buggies que los coches. El ambiente tranquilo y pacífico facilitará una estancia relajante. Desde nuestro césped delantero, tenemos una hermosa vista con vistas a nuestro pollo vecino Amish y producir granja. Estamos a pocos minutos de las populares ciudades de Lancaster de aves en la mano y las relaciones sexuales.

Nuestra casa incluye cuatro dormitorios y tres baños. Nuestra gran cocina en el piso de arriba, con la pequeña cocina del sótano, ofrece lugar para dar cabida a una familia o grupo más grande. Nuestro sótano de tamaño completo es un gran lugar para los juegos de la familia, abejas acolchadas, chatarra de reserva, etc

Con el campo de maíz de nuestros padres detrás de la casa, nuestro patio trasero es un lugar tranquilo para disfrutar del cielo nocturno o sentarse alrededor de una pequeña fogata.

Productos locales, huevos frescos y productos de panadería se pueden comprar una milla por el camino en el stand de carretera de nuestro vecino Amish. Además, los niños les encantará el parque zoológico de Hayloft Candle Barn y su cremoso helado casero.

This is a fabulous property!! Clean, well stocked (especially spices), with a wonderful view. Chris and Shannon left us a loaf of bread from their bakery that we all enjoyed very much. Plenty of room for a large family with a wonderful back yard. Close to all the local activities and attractions but you feel like you are far from the bustle. Check in was seamless and the host touched base with us by message several times just to be sure everything was fine, and it was perfect! Would definitely stay here again!!

We had an amazing time absolutely loved the property location, and surroundings. The owners are very hospitable…One thing to suggest is that the basement smelt a little musty, (moldy) especially the back bedroom and the freezer in the basement had mold in it. Which we know are common every day ordinary circumstances it is no bad reflection on the owner or this property because it is absolutely beautiful

Very peaceful

We had a wonderful time at the house. It’s in a perfect location and surrounded by beautiful farms. The kids loved jumping on the trampoline and playing outside. Unfortunately we had a lot of rain so we didn’t get to sit at the fire pit, but it would have been lovely if we could have. The hosts were responsive and friendly. We would come again.

Shannon and I were born and raised in Lancaster County. I was raised on the 8th generation family farm that borders our house. As for Shannon, all her growing up years were spent on her parent's chicken farm only five miles down the road. So as high-school sweethearts, Lancaster County was all we ever knew until 2016 when God led us to teach at a Bible College in southern Indiana. Now with our seven children, we spend the school term in Indiana and come back "home" to Lancaster for the summer months. So when we're gone, our house is open for others to enjoy!!!

My grandparents built the house off the family farm as their retirement property. In the 90's, my older brother bought the house from our grandparents. Then in 2004, when my brother moved on the family farm, we had the opportunity to buy the home. So with the cornfield as our back property line, I never really moved off the farm. Being surrounded by both of our families, the picturesque setting, and the peaceful Lancaster county culture, there's no place we'd rather live. So because we've been so blessed, we'd be delighted to have you experience the setting we've been privileged to call home.

Bring your quilting, sewing, or scrapbooking group and spread out in our spacious basement. Be sure to visit our quilt/fabric (Family Farm Quilts 3511 West Newport Rd. Ronks, PA 1757) shop just 5 minutes away in the town of Intercourse.

With the popular Amish towns of Intercourse and Bird-in-Hand only a few minutes away, our home is perfectly located for easy access to all the tourist attractions. Because Dutch Wonderland, Cherry Crest Farm, and Sight and Sound are so close by, our home is a great place to stay for a family vacation. With seven children of our own, our house is kid-friendly and perfect for a family of any size.

So bring your family, experience real Lancaster county among the Amish, de-stress from the busy pace of life, and make family memories that will last forever!!!!
