Excellent, we love the isle of wight and always stay at woodside bay. We return a few times every year. The only downside is that they don't serve food in the bar. They have a pizza oven but it's never used. Such a shame.

Nice lodges.Woodside bay retreat is peaceful & quiet place to stay on IOW.The wooton lodges have all the facilities we need.We also like yaverland and wroxhall lodges.In a good location to explore the IOW.

Great location but access road a little rough .Reception was fast and helpful ,site was clean and tidy and very quiet.nice little walk to the beach to watch the ferries coming and going .the water wasn’t too cold either .All in all a good place to stay

Lodge was a home from home. We had everything we needed. Lovely surroundings. Bird song unbelievable and we saw red squirrels in the woodland too. Good for a relax. Bed and bathroom good quality too

The surroundings of the lodge were lovely and peaceful.

The surroundings of the lodge were lovely and peaceful.The lodge was spacious but the cleanliness was not very good. There was a lot of dust on skirting doors radiators and other places. The worst was the overhead shower in the main bathroom. If was covered in black gunge and in my opinion a health hazard. We did report the problems to reception they said they would get someone in to clean it but it didn't look like it had been touched. The furnishings looked and felt like they needed replacing as did the blinds.But besides this we enjoyed ourselves.
