The view is exceptional. We were able to park the car up and didn’t need to use it for the week with everything you need within walking distance.

Lovely stay in st ives only 5 minutes walk into town and porthminster beach albeit steep hills and lots of steps . Keep you fit . Property could do with a bit of paint in places but it didn't bother us. There's a bit of building work going on next door but as we were out most of the day that wasn't a problem either. All in all we loved it and will hopefully return next year

Good points: beautiful view, comfortable beds spacious provided everything we neededBad points: puddles of water all over the floor, electric plugged in extension lead sitting on top of the water, feaces left in the toilet, curtain rail propped up with a pole not attached to the wall, toilet holders not fixed properly, maintenance poor, overgrown garden full of ragwort, out of use wall sockets taped up, dirty walls up the stairs, Communication: poor, took 2 months to answer one message and then when I called he was rude. Asked for compensation got told I could have a full refund if I vacated the property that day no apology nothing

Wow what a view!

We had a fantastic Easter break at the house. The view over St Ives is abdolutely amazing and the location is perfect. The house has everything we needed fora very comfortable stay. The beds are all comfy. You can nip into the town for a pasty in just a few minutes and even though the walk back is quite steep it's a quick journey so not too bad! I would love to return. Already recommended to friends and family.

The house was perfectly located to explore St Ives and surrounding areas.The property was lovely and spacious in the kitchen/area, however the bedrooms felt a little cramped.Overall the house was clean however there were a considerable amount of cobwebs, which was a little off putting.The parking was a massive bonus too.

We had high hopes for this property being that it was modern and "new construction." The biggest asset of this property is the floor to ceiling window. WOW, what a view! The view aside, the property had a number of issues. There were several puddles on the upper floor when we arrived that we had to mop up ourselves. Maybe leaking skylights? Lighting problems: 2 bathroom had burned out lights that were flickering indicating such; the dining light was not working, making for a very dim/dark eating environment; there were numerous holes in the walls, scuffs, and other wear indicating it was not "new construction"; numerous other areas around the outside of the house that were unfinished; a pile up of full garbage bags under the front steps; the front steps of the property were unfinished and dirty; the back patio which looked beautiful in the pictures with wood furniture, was replaced with undesireable cheap furniture; the interior furnishings were cheap put together furniture, along with low quality bedding (comforter, pillows, mattress cover); dull and chipped kitchen knives; 2 of the 5 (yes 5) living room couches had broken legs making the couches low to the ground and crooked. The master bath had a sewage smell, which must be known to exist due to the bottles of bleach under the sink that we used to pour down the drains. The extra single beds in the bedrooms make for a cramped stay. Great variety of kitchen necessities. Overall the property lacks attention to detail

This property is very large, with wonderful views, parking and close to town. However the property is in much need of maintenance and TLC. It is not brand new as per the property listing. Guests have been staying there since 2016. One of the most surprising things was the unusable kitchen knives with bits cut out of the cutting edge. The beds were comfortable with nice linen and towels.

Lovely family holiday

Everything was fabulous from booking, owner communication to checking in. Plenty of parking for 4 cars in front of the property allowed easy loading and unloading of luggage. The 2 front bedrooms were large with picture windows and harbour views. The rear bedrooms faced onto the courtyard and were more compact. The living area was huge and had every thing you could possibly need with plenty of seating for everyone and the most mesmerising view from the floor to ceiling window wall. The property is at the end of a very quiet cul de sac above the town. The walk down is fine but it is a more challenging return - however we all managed it including pensioners and pram! If we were lucky enough to be in St Ives would we stay here again? You bet we would - it was perfect!! Thank you Rod and Beata

Really lovely stay

Really lovely stay with lots to do in and around st ives. The property is beautiful and very well equipped. The absolute selling point for this house are the stunning views from the living space The garden area needs a bit of an update if you wanted to sit in it for any period of time Overall highly recommend the property and owners very responsive.

A very clean,modern,warm,superbly equipped, 4 bedroom house with amazing views over St.Ives, and a 7 minute walk down to the harbour and shops. An excellent welcome pack! Highly recommended!

Beautiful house with great views and welcoming hosts

Our second stay in Chynalls and we enjoyed it just as much the second time. The spacious top floor living area has wonderful views of the town, harbour, to the sea. Just a short walk down (and up) steps to the centre of town meant no need to use our car, a great benefit in St Ives. And the house has easy and ample parking. The house is very comfortable well equipped, our hosts made booking and checking in so easy and the welcome pack was very generous. Highly recommended.

Lived up to expectations

The views are as beautiful as promised! The property has everything needed for a great holiday. The house is located a short (steep) walk away from the town centre and two beautiful beaches. The parking is fine for 2 cars. The owners were very helpful.
