Spend time in a typically Parisian apartment with style. Exceptional situation in the heart of Paris, minutes from Le Louvre and the river Seine, the Palais Royal, musée des arts décoratifs, the Tuileries, Gardens of Beaubourg, Pompidou. Walk to museums of Orsay and the OrangerieOpera, Saint Germain des Prés, Galeries Lafayette. Lots of cafés and bistros, Metro, Buses, RER to airport and train stations. Located on the 4th floor (no elevator) of an ancient building with windows viewing on the street and courtyard, this charming and bright apartment will accommodate comfortably 2 people. 65sq m, 1 double LR, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom (shower), separate toilets. Nice hardwood floors, lots of storage. The double living room consists of two areas separated by old beams The Living Room area has a large sofa, bookshelves. There is a separate dining area and a little den with small sofa as well asa desk for wok/computer. The bedroom has a king bed. Nicely furnished with antiques, paintings, kitchen fully equipped with modern appliances.

Terrific Flat in a Wonderful Location

Great stay at this perfectly located flat in Paris. We stayed for a number of days for the olympics and were not disappointed. The flat has everything you'd need for a great stay and the communication w/ the property manager was great.

Well stocked, organized cute apartment with everything we needed. Quiet street for central Paris. Excellent communication with property manager. Would come again.

Homey Stay

A wonderful authentic Parisian apartment where you feel like your friend invited you to stay. Everything was as described. Heating kept up with cold temperatures outside. Neighborhood busy, central and safe. Can't wait to come back.

Great Property - Perfectly Located

This flat is absolutely perfect for an easy trip to Paris; it is situated just around the corner from the Louvre Museum. Its central location is great for trips to virtually all the places one would want to visit: the Louvre & Notre Dame is walking distance away, the Champs Elysees is a few stops away by metro, with Eiffel Tower slightly further. The nearby station takes you easily to the Eurostar terminal, Eurodisney and Versailles with minimal changes. You really feel in the heart of Paris. The flat is roomy, tastefully decorated and well appointed. It is up a few levels and would make it hard for an older person with heavy luggage; however as you normally only carry luggage up once then down once, it should not be a problem for most people. Highly recommend.

Lovely place in great area

Just as advertised. Spacious, well equipped, well located, super clean. A very comfortable place, where we stayed four nights. Check-in was done with ease, following clear instructions from the owner, who was quick to respond to a couple of questions that arose. A booklet explaining some particulars about the apartment, along with neighborhood highlights, was helpful, too. As some have mentioned, there are quite a few stairs to climb -- the very Parisian, well-worn wood variety -- but this shouldn't be an issue for anyone readily able to walk the streets of Paris! We'd happily stay again.

great location + spacious

The location is A+ , lots of great spots around, quick walk to marais, and super central. Really easy to get to and from the airport via the train at le Halles that goes straight there. Few things to note: there’s no full length mirror (not important to everyone but was tough getting dressed for me), and it can be pretty noisy if something is going on outside. A few nights I was there, I was woken by either trucks or construction at 5am and had a difficult time getting sleep. But overall it’s a great place to stay for central location and space.

Perfect Paris Location

This quintessential Paris apartment is in the ideal location. Museums, Parks, restaurants, close to two Merto lines. My husband and I walked our legs off and enjoyed every minute. The apartment was very well appointed, with everything we needed for our visit. Recommend highly.

Great spot, very clean, spacious and excellent location!

Exactly as presented. Very spacious with separate dining and living rooms. Good bed. Everything one needs, including tv, electronics and well equipped kitchen. Very good cross ventilation so Paris heat not a real factor. Area very central and pleasant, 10 minute walk from airport RER. Of course there is some city noise but not bad as you are high above the street. And yes, there is no elevator.

Delightful Stay in Paris

This flat was ideal for my needs while in Paris. The location was great, convenient to all attractions and parks. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and the dining room is large enough for entertaining. Their is a large living room and bedroom plus an office area with a daybed. Tons of light with windows throughput. There are stairs that need to be climbed but once the luggage was in I didn’t mind them ( they are beautiful and all wood!). I really enjoyed my stay.

Great apartment to stay while in Paris

This is our third time we have stayed in the apartment and it remains a comfortable place for us to stay. The shower is new but does pose a little difficulty getting in and out of given restrictions on the door not fully open.

Little gem

The apartment is in a fantastic location. It was bigger than I had anticipated and was well maintained. Basia is a great host-- she responds fast, to the point and is very accommodating. The stairs that people talk about in other reviews were never a problem for us. I look forward to staying at this apartment again on my next visit.

Walking paradise!

Our first time staying in central Paris. So much fun to be able to walk pretty much everywhere we wanted to go. The apartment is spacious (much bigger than anticipated). As long as you can make it up those stairs, you’ll love it!

We had a wonderful time at this property. Perfectly located. As I am sure you have read in other reviews several flights of stairs if you have someone older I would def consider that but not impactful for us. Walked everywhere and loved it. Would go back

Eine Wohnung, die sich wie das eigene Zuhause anfühlt. Zwischen Louvre und Centre Pompidou nahe bei der Metro Linie 1 (fährt auch bei Streik). Mit allem ausgestattet was man zum gemütlichen Wohnen braucht.

Beautiful Paris Apartment

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Basia’s apartment. It is the perfect blend of old and new. The floors creek with every step and the door handles are antique but you have all the modern conveniences you need. Yes, there are a lot of steps to reach the apartment but you climb up the on a wonderful spiral staircase. This apartment was the highlight of our stay in Paris.

Quiet Flat, Great Location

The apartment was as advertised and in a great location, very close to the Louvre, walking distance to the Seine and many cafes and boulangeries. We didn't have a car during our stay and were able to get around extremely well. Apartment was actually larger than I expected, clean, and with everything we needed to feel at home. If we're in Paris again, we would definitely stay here!

As good as last time!

The second time that we have stayed at this spacious and quiet apartment with a thoughtful and responsive owner. The 85 steps were not a problem and we are better and fitter for the workout opportunity. Look forward to returning in the future.
