A bustling summertime location popular for sailing and watersports. The apartment itself is on the ground floor, with its own entrance and small sit out area. Arranged with a double and ensuite king-size bedrooms, a sizeable open plan living space with ample dining area, a modern, well-equipped kitchen and comfortable sitting room area. A perfect location for a stylish seaside holiday.

Tres propre, bien équipé, bien confortable mais pas de vue sur mer.

Logement tres bien équipé mais situé a l arrière du bâtiment en demi sous sol et pas d ouverture fenetre dans la 2e chambre. Probleme d aeration. Pas de vue sur mer.

A lovely apartment

The apartment is lovely, well appointed and comfortable. The weather was really chilly when we arrived but the heating was easy to change and we were soon very cosy. The beds were lovely with gorgeous bedding so we slept really well. The sitting room provided comfortable seating and a terrific TV, when we got home and wanted to relax. Plenty of equipment if you wanted to cook, although we did not, other than breakfast. Although there is no view from the apartment itself, it is literally yards round the main house to the sea front. Walking in either direction along flat paths (or on the beach) brings you to shops, cafes and restaurants/pubs. We ate out each evening. Ryde is easy to walk to with a super beach front cafe half way to revive you! We drove and took buses to explore the island. We only had one maintenance issue, which was quickly and efficiently resolved. A great holiday, thank you.

The Cove is a lovely apartment in a very good central location to Ryde, Shanklin, Ventnor, Black Gang chine and Robin Hill theme parks, and some lovely beaches. Lots of places to eat out within a short drive or a beautiful pub within walking distance from The Cove. It was lovely to find all the grocery essentials like bread, milk tea, coffee on arrival. A nice little touch! The apartment is very clean and comfortable and nice to come back to after a day out. The beds were so comfortable (which you don’t always find) and lovely fresh linen too. We wouldn’t hesitate in returning to “The Cove” at Seaview.

The Cove, Seaview, IOW

The Cove is a very comfortable and tastefully furnished apartment with a well equipped kitchen in a quiet area. Staying at the Cove you can walk out of the apartment, cross the road and step onto the beach (often with no one else in sight). Seaview as a location is simply perfect with great areas for families to settle on the beach for the day, along with tasteful gift shops, not forgetting the deli and their ice cream selection. You are also short walks away from excellent and friendly pubs and cafes all offering good food. A leisurely 20-30 minute walk along the coastal path and you are in Ryde. With Seaview you have the choice to kick back and relax without the need to use the car and enjoy everything Seaview and Ryde have to offer or use it as a base to explore this lovely island. We very much enjoyed our time staying at The Cove and would certainly stay there again.

Perfect family holiday

We spent a week at The Cove with our two children and had a lovely holiday. The apartment is beautifully appointed, the kitchen is fully equipped for cooking family meals. (Not that I did a lot of that!) The beds are so comfortable and the bedding is gorgeous. Seaview has a number of places to eat, we enjoyed meals at The Boat and The Old Fort. The beach is just a few steps from the apartment, perfect for swimming, paddle boarding or just taking a walk and drinking in the vitamin sea. Despite the weather not being the best, there was plenty to do on the IOW, we would definitely recommend a stay at The Cove.

Wonderful!

What a lovely stay we have had! The apartment is spacious, tastefully furnished, well stocked with a very comfortable bed and a beautiful deep bath and many " mod cons!" The location is superb, with the beautiful Sea View beach right opposite. There are plenty of fantastic gastro pubs and restaurants within a very pleasant walking distance. Highly recommend!

A wonderful stay across from the beach

This lower ground floor apartment is beautifully appointed and the owners have created a very welcoming space. (There are two steps down from the front door, then level floors.) The kitchen is fully equipped with quality appliances, making cooking and eating in easy, and we appreciated having use of the washing machine/dryer in the utility. As it's on the coast road, there are great pubs and cafes within easy, flat walking distance, meaning everyone can enjoy a drink in the Boat House or Old Fort and appreciate the sunset on the way back. The agency responded quickly to a query we had and kept us updated throughout the booking process. We were very lucky with good weather but staying in was also comfortable with a large TV and wifi included, plenty of seating and soft beds to relax in. Tucked away at the back of the house, we had no problems with noise. Though not visible from the apartment the beach is just one minute away, offering views of the sea forts and Portsmouth on a clear day. We took a very pleasant walk to Ryde, passing Appley Tower on the way. The Isle of Wight has plenty to offer and The Cove made a great base, whether exploring or staying home.

A little gem

I stayed here for a week in May with hubby, 17 year old son and his mate. We had never been to the IOW and did not know what to expect. First and foremost this apartment is amazing. It is tastefully decorated, exuding a modern and stylish ambiance that made us feel right at home. It is evident that the owners have put a great deal of effort into creating a comfortable and inviting space for their guests. The amenities provided were excellent. The kitchen was fully equipped with top-of-the-line appliances and the open space living area was perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring the island. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the cleanliness of the apartment was impeccable. Location is great, we fell in love with Seaview. We enjoyed sitting on the beach in the early evening with a glass of wine or heading to the local restaurants and pubs. Turn left or right out of the apartment and you’ll find somewhere nice! Would highly recommend.
