Chalet Bergrose enjoys a central location. Transport-wise, Wengen railway station is only 250 m away up some steps. There is also an alternative 400 m route avoiding the steps. The nearest cable car and ski lifts are accessible by foot. The village ski slopes are nearby and scenic walks are practically on your doorstep! There are two supermarkets and a selection of restaurants, cafes and bars a short walk away, and you truly are in a great place to enjoy the chilled après-ski vibe in Wengen. Or simply relax on the southwest-facing garden terrace in the evening sunshine.

What you should know...



Although Wengen is a "car-free" mountain village, arriving by car is no problem. There is a large multi-storey car park at Lauterbrunnen train station, with trolleys for your luggage and lifts to the station platforms. It is a 12-minute scenic train ride up to Wengen. The trains depart every 30 minutes until 9.30 pm and then hourly. Taxis or luggage transport are available for hire upon arrival at Wengen train station if required.
