Alegria is a comfortable, cozy and practical 9+ villa in a very nice location.

The villa is located on 1300 m2 of dune land with lots of privacy at the end of a dead end street next to the edge of the forest and the dunes of Roosdunen. Through the dunes it is about a 10 minute walk to Ballumerstrand and also 10 minutes to the picturesque village of Ballum. A 5-minute walk away is the outdoor swimming pool where you have free entrance (1/2 May till September). Around Ballum you will find beautiful nature reserves for walking and cycling and from here you can easily explore the entire island.

Layout house
The design has mainly thought about your comfort. There is a practical utility room (with separate entrance) ideal for boots, beach gear or wet coats; here is also an outside tap, sink, washing machine / dryer combination. In the spacious hall you will find the toilet and the stairs to the top.

Alegria has a spacious, attractive living room with a comfortable sitting area, flat screen television, underfloor heating and a gas fireplace. In the bookcase you will find, in addition to a large stock of books, also board games. There is an open kitchen with a large table where you can eat with 10 people. The kitchen is equipped with state-of-the-art appliances, including a dishwasher. The patio doors lead to the terrace which also has a large dining table for 10 people.

Bedrooms (4+)
On the ground floor is a separate 2-person bedroom with ensuite bathroom (toilet, shower and sink). This room has patio doors to the semi-covered terrace of approximately 62m2 on the south. Good to know is that everything on the ground floor is on the ground floor without thresholds.

Upstairs are 3 bedrooms + an extra room. The 3 bedrooms all have 2 box-spring beds. One room also has a desk and television. In addition to the 2 beds, one bedroom also has a nice box bed as a 9th sleeping place. There is enough space for a cot in two bedrooms.
The luxurious, comfortable box-spring beds measure 90x210 and can be placed separately or against each other. All rooms have ample closet space. During warm summer evenings, the ceiling fans in the bedrooms can provide cooling.
The extra room has an extra bed and sofa, making it ideal as an extra sleeping area for children. It is also furnished as a children's playroom.

Wellness and Bathrooms (3)
Upstairs is a 2-person infrared sauna and there are 2 bathrooms, one with a sink and shower and a large bathroom with bath, spacious walk-in shower, double sink and toilet. There is also a separate toilet. There is another bathroom in the bedroom on the ground floor (see bedrooms).

Outside
Along the entire south side is the large sheltered terrace of approximately 62m2 with lovely sun loungers and a large dining table (10 persons). In the summer you can eat outside with the electric barbecue! There is a playhouse in the garden. The garden has been left as natural as possible with dunes and trees and completely surrounded by a fence (ideal with children or pets). It is so quiet here that you can hear the sea and the owls at night. On clear nights, you can count shooting stars from the lounge chairs on the terrace.

The house is very child-friendly. The stairs above can be closed with a stair gate, so that children can move freely and safely. The extra (bed) room is furnished as a playroom with television, toys and games.

There is private parking for 2 cars.

Deposit
For most holiday homes, a security deposit applies, which is charged separately. This is stated on the confirmation from Eiland Verhuur. The deposit is paid together with the remaining balance and will be refunded within 14 days, provided no damage has been found after departure.
