Awesome Stay

This place was perfect. We essentially just slept there. But it was convenient to what Tahoe has to offer. The house was super clean and a nice refreshment was waiting for us. Would stay here again.

Too short a stay!

This is a convenient, pleasant cabin in a quiet neighborhood with all necessary cooking and other items. We got it at the last minute but the hosts prepared it quickly and with a nice welcome. We would definitely stay here again.

Short Tahoe Trip

Great, cozy cabin (bedrooms are upstairs). Communication with the owners was great. It was convenient and had everything you would want in a stay (except the unpredictability of Tahoe weather).

Great Place to Stay in Tahoma!

The cabin met all of our expectations; it was very clean, nicely decorated, and a great place to stay with kids. The hosts were very helpful and responsive. Our only concern was that there were no window coverings in the bedrooms, but when we mentioned it to the host, he assured us he would fix it for the next guests. We would definitely recommend it to others and would stay there again next time we are in the area!

Expecting a refund for one night. Need update

Couldn't get TV to work, Owner had construction of a horse shoe pit being put in, 3 days with workers parking in front of house and walking to rear yard. Only place to sit was on front deck and workers going in and out. Smoke, neighbors talking about bears and description to keep food off counters when leaving house. Not relaxing! floors and rugs difty

Highly Recommend

This was our first trip to Lake Tahoe, and I was debating if we should stay at north or south Tahoe. I am glad we choose this west Tahoe house. It’s in a central location and within manageable driving distance to both Kings Beach in north Tahoe and south Tahoe village. It’s very convenient to drive to Emerald bay and Pope Beach. The house itself is nice and clean, very cozy and have everything we need to cook breakfast and spaghetti dinner. The house is in a quiet and very wooded neighborhood. The community pier is an easy 10 minutes’ walk and does involve crossing Rt. 89, which is not difficult at all. I loved the hammock among the trees. Communications with Jon were easy and effective. We enjoyed our Lake Tahoe experience despite the impact from the wildfires.

Perfect Location in beautiful West Tahoe

We stay in Tahoe every few years and this was by far our favorite location. Close to all things North (Truckee & Tahoe City) and South, this beautiful cabin is set in a peaceful (yet convenient) location. We had every amenity we could have wanted in this warm and well stocked home. It was clean and the owners were super attentive to any questions we had. We hope to stay again!

Quiet location

Perfect visit. 4 adults and 1 child. Cabin was very clean and comfortable and location is close to everything yet quiet. Only tip would be to space out showers to ensure you have hot water.

Labor Day Weekend

Tahoe Big Pine Cabin was a great place to stay. The location was perfect. Great proximity to all the action, but in a nice quiet neighborhood. The cabin was well stocked and there were a lot of toots for the kids. Jon and Monique were great hosts and responded quickly to any questions we had. Overall, a great experience for our little family.

Lovely and quiet

We very much enjoyed our stay here in this very quiet neighborhood and lovely cabin. The location is well situated between North Tahoe and South Tahoe. Jon and Monique were most helpful and responsive.

Perfect Location

Perfect cabin for our family of 4. Great location for walking to the beach and ice cream. The cabin was nicely stocked with all the essentials. We would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a great getaway!

Great ski weekend, excellent accommodations.

Dealing with Jon and Monique was very easy. They were quick to respond to my many messages and provided helpful info. The house was easily accessible and close to grocery stores and some local restaurants. It was very comfortable and everything in the kitchen was labeled and easy to find. The house was perfect for 3 people. The only suggestion I have is to oil the door hinges in the upstairs bathroom. It is very loud in the middle of the night. All three of us agreed that, if we go back to Tahoe, we would definitely stay there again. Thanks - Matt

It was perfect for us

We were looking for a chance to enjoy a cabin in the snow. Our stay was perfect for this. The cabin is so homey and well equipped with all the things needed for a really comfortable stay. Our grandsons stayed part of the time with us and they proved that the cabin is as functional as it is cozy. Jon and Monique are excellent hosts. I had trouble with some of the communication technology and they were extremely patient. Also, when it looked like the weather would block us from driving up, Jon provided encouragement and helped to identify a good window for the drive. Overall it was a delightful escape to a “cabin in the snow” that makes me think we should also plan a summer cabin stay.

Great cabin that is cozy and also updated and modern

Thank you Jon and Monique for the wonderful cabin to stay in!! The accommodations you guys provided were phenomenal with letting us arrive early due to weather conditions and offering us to stay longer was a tremendous help since I'm not sure we would have made it up if we had waited, then arriving to a lovely note, a bottle of wine and beverages in the fridge was even more thoughtful and appreciated. This cabin was cozy, warm with a lot of updated modern touches. The mud room was so nice to have with all of our snow gear so we didn't have to drag it all through the house. The place was clean and kids loved all the toys and games that were provided. We had a nice warm fire and relaxed on the soft and comfortable couches. I highly recommend this place and hope to return again soon! Best Regards, The Brown Family

Great location, Cozy Cabin

The cabin is in a great location close to several ski resorts, especially Homewood and Squaw / Alpine Meadows. The cabin was cozy and perfect for our stay. The beds were especially comfortable!

Everything was wonderful. Helpful owners.

Wonderful cozy house with everything you need. Perfect for family of 4 or 5. Close to squaw valley and other ski slopes, restaurants and little general stores. Great stay at this cabin.
