Beautiful, light and airy coastal cottage in a quiet part of The Bay Holiday Village - ideal for family holidays.

Seashells Cottage is located in a quiet corner of The Bay, with off road parking for 2 vehicles. The property is within easy walking distance of the beach, swimming pool, gym and tennis courts. This is one of the largest 2 bedroom properties on The Bay and offers luxury spacious accommodation.

Enter through the step free doorway into a generously proportioned hallway with cloakroom and storage. Walk into the 'L' shaped open plan living, dining and kitchen area with wood-burner stove, sofas for 4 and stunning SKY GLASS TV (sports and netflix included), dining table for 4 and modern fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher, washer-dryer and microwave. Off the dining area French doors lead onto a private furnished patio with BBQ area, ideal for outside relaxing with seating for 4 with quiet lawned area.

Upstairs the master bedroom includes a king-size bed, SKY TV and luxury En-suite with rainfall shower and ceiling fan for those hot evenings. The second bedroom has two single beds, SKY TV and access to the family bathroom with bath and overhead rainfall shower.

The log burner makes Seashells Cottage warm and cosy for breaks all year round.

This property is part of The Bay Holiday Village and all bookings gain direct beach access, unlimited use of The Bay Filey Indoor Pool, Baby Pool, Sauna, Steam Room and Gym. Some amenities are chargeable locally like food and drink, tennis and any activities operated by Away Resorts such as Archery and Crafts.

Sea shells cottage

Great holiday as always, just wish the beds were more comfortable and the bed in the main bedroom was not the same as shown in the pictures. Overall great holiday and the kids loved it

Lovely cottage in a good location

The cottage is lovely and located in a quiet part of the bay. It is very well equipped with things that make your stay easier - kitchen utensils, towels, cleaning products, hair dryers, iron, umbrellas, games etc. Only thing missing is a storage caddy within the en suite shower enclosure. Amenities at the bay such as the pool, bar, cafe and shop are only a short walk away. Nearby beaches are beautiful and easy to get to.

We wanted a break away from home. The Bay is a lovely destination and Sea Shells cottage surpassed our expectations. Look forward to another visit.

A perfect stay

We had a fantastic time at seashells cottage. The cottage is decorated to a high standard and feels spacious. The cottage is in a quiet location and is well equipped for a self catering holiday. The patio / garden area is a great space to sit out and chill and looks onto trees. We will definitely be returning.

Excellent house for a family stay

We stayed at the seashell cottage Monday to Friday. The house was spotless when we arrived, the facilities were excellent & include a small welcome pack. The wood burner stove makes the cool evenings more cozy even though the heating is constant. We would highly recommend the house & would be happy to return.

Will definitely stay again!!!!

We were greeted with an extremely clean and well presented accommodation. House is really well equipped with everything you could need. Would recommend 100%, ideal location for getting out and about and the park is clean and well maintained. Second time at The Bay and it really doesn't disappoint. Would have liked a visitor book for the owners to keep a record of our massively positive feedback but other than that cannot fault the park, the accommodation or location in any way. Booking and communication from Anchor Bay Holidays is also faultless and we are already planning a return. Many thanks to all involved!!!

Cracking Easter break

We have stayed at The Bay Filey lots of times over the years, but this was the first time in Seashells Cottage. The cottage was super clean and everything you needed for great holiday. I was there with my two boys for 5 days, and it was one of the best we have stayed in on the resort. Home from home complete with Sky TV and an EV car charger, which was super handy. The cottage sits in a quiet location near the edge of the resort with its own garden for the sunny days We will definitely be staying at Seashells cottage again.

Home from home

Another lovely stay in Seashell cottage. Everything you could need is in the cottage. Sky tv is appreciated. Parking outside and with an easy walk to the beach (not quite so easy coming back) lol. If the tide is right it's a great walk on the beach to Filey. The leasure pass is an added bonus. Lots of information from Anchor Bay make the holiday very enjoyable. Hopefully we will return.

Great week in Filey!

Third time we’ve stayed at seashells and had another great holiday. Our daughter is now 3 but we find the cottage very family friendly. We did swimming on site and you can follow the signs to the beach (maybe a 15 minute walk down with a toddler). We drove to Filey and Scarborough for day trips. I recommend Inghams fish and chips shop in filey. Had a meal out at the piebald inn which was a 5 minute drive away and great pies! Great week away with the family x

A lovely cottage in a great location could do with some shelving in the en-suite could not leave a review as unable to find the visitor's book. will definitely recommend to others. once again great place to relax.

Beach break

Anchor Bay are great to book with. This was a nice detached property in a great location within the Bay Holiday Park. Good size property and great having 2 bathrooms, 3 toilets, log burner and parking outside. Fairly private rear garden getting some evening sun too! Well kitted out. Negatives; all found the sofas very uncomfortable as far too soft. Double bed could also do with a thick mattress topper as rather hard. We would however rent this again as overall a lot of pluses

Good but just a couple of things not right.

Generally, the house was lovely and it fitted the bill for us, we had a nice stay. Just a couple of things let it down: The shower in the en suite leaked all over the floor and is tiny. There is room for a bigger shower definitely, and the leaking meant the floor was saturated. Potential for a leak through to downstairs so this definitely needs addressing. Very warm upstairs, quite cool downstairs. Could do with it the other way around! We moved one of the sofas forward to watch tv and found a piece of broken crockery under it. Clearly it had not been cleaned underneath and it was easy to move it so, giving the benefit of the doubt, it was maybe an oversight as the rest of the house was clean. There was only one tea towel, which actually was not enough. This seems a bit mean really. Anyway, generally we had a good stay and the house is nice. Shower room was an issue as slippy is dangerous. Hope this is helpful. Julie
