Lovely Coastal Cottage - Sleeping 5 in 2 bedrooms - Pool and Beach Access Included.

Welcome to Admirals Cottage - part of the Bay Filey Holiday Village it is ideal for couples or a growing family with children.

Admirals cottage was refurbished in February 2025 including new flooring throughout, media wall TV, new kitchen and other amazing touches such as a feature fireplace.

Enter into the airy hallway with storage for all your essentials and access to the downstairs cloak / WC.

Off the hallway to the left is a large NEW kitchen including dishwasher, washer etc with views to the patio on the rear.

The other side of the hallway leads to the stunning large lounge / diner taking full advantage of the Bay window with lovely sofas and SMART TV inset into a media wall with modern feature fire. At the rear of the lounge / diner is a large dining table with French doors to the large patio area to the rear.

Upstairs the property comprises of 1 king sized bedroom and 1 king bedroom (with additional single bed) with a large (new) family bathroom complete with bath and overhead rainfall shower.

Travel Cot and High Chair are available for use free of charge (own bedding required).

We leave a few games for our guests to use.

This warm and cosy house is ideal for breaks all year round.

This property is part of The Bay Holiday Village and all bookings gain direct beach access, unlimited use of The Bay Filey Indoor Pool, Baby Pool, Sauna, Steam Room and Gym. Some amenities are chargeable locally like food and drink, tennis and any activities operated by Away Resorts such as Archery and Crafts.

The owners (Stephen and Lucy) look forward to welcoming you to their lovely cottage.

From the start of booking until our return home Anchor holidays were just brilliant keeping us up dated all the time The cottage was immaculate and so cosy Cottage is in a great position.

Short break with granddaughter

We were initially staying at Admirals Cottage for 4 nights but due to the weather and how good the property was Anthony from ABH was able to quickly accommodate us for an extra night. The property is ideal for a small family although the extra single bed in the 2nd bedroom would probably be better suited being a sofa bed. Awesome media wall, excellent WiFi and everything you needed in the kitchen although we ate out every night in the pub. Super £1 kids deal made all the difference and food was v.good. We will definitely be using ABH again and their communications are excellent.

Almost perfect

Had a lovely weeks holiday. The cottage was ideally situated close to pool and amenities. Good you could reverse up to front door to unload and load. It was very quiet and peaceful. Found appliances confusing as there were no instructions on how to use them available. Apart from that everything perfect.

Excellent cottage home from home

Admirals cottage was amazing lovely and clean comfortable three adults plus one small dog it was perfect for us. We liked that it had a separate kitchen. Outside the patio is some lovely garden furniture and as the weather was good it was a sun trap in the afternoon. Very close to the pub and amenities short walk to the beach. We found the tv in the lounge not too good with its signal so watched Netflix most nights. The new hob was a test for us had to get the instruction book out. Will defiantly stay again loved it.

Admirals Cottage

The cottage was clean and tidy. Very comfortable and warm. Well equipped but could do with more information on how to use the microwave and the cooker. Bedrooms well equipped and comfortable.. Excellent parking space available right outside of the property. Well informed regarding our stay at Admirals Cottage from Anthony at Anchor Bay Holidays.

A few days away at the seaside

The cottage was lovely and cosy, with nice comfortable beds, and the kitchen was very well equipped with washer dryer and dishwasher. It was a little difficult to locate at first. The pool was closed for most of our stay, but we were informed of this when we booked the property. Overall we had a lovely time at Admirals cottage.

What a lovely place for a relaxing break

This cottage is in a quiet corner 5 minutes walk to amenities that was great for my friend . It was modern all appliances provided were clean and worked well . We used the heating a couple of times as chilly in evenings warms up very quickly and very cosy . If you go do bring all the essentials with you as it says in the information booklet . The sports pass is hanging in the hallway .

Couple stay with 2 dogs

We've stayed at The Bay a number of times previously but this was the first time booking through ABH. The Bay is a favourite of ours due to the dog friendly nature, great beach access and good location for days out. Lovely property which had everything we needed for our stay, including a full size fridge freezer which not all properties have. Parts of the property were a little tired, however, we didn't feel this was an issue as it wasn't anything that affected our stay. We did have a slight issue with stained bedding on the first night (smelt clean but was stained), as soon as I contacted the house keeping contact they arranged for replacements to be delivered. I also notified the office via email of two small maintenance issues, these were not causing a problem for us but notified out of courtesy. A handyman attended the property the same day and fixed both problems. ABH were a pleasure to deal with, provided a lot of information in the lead up to our stay and I would not hesitate to book my next stay through them.

Admirals Cottage

Will definitely stay again when planning a few Days at The Bay. The cottage had everything required and in a good location. The duvets were a little heavy for me (personal taste). A spare in wardrobe would have been good to swap. However I would recommend the cottage and will be my first choice in future.
