A lovely cosy apartment ideal for an Autumn break

Hideaway at the Bay is a lovely apartment with excellent modern decor throughout. The bedroom is particularly spacious with a large comfy bed and the shower room was well designed and spotless. It is in an ideal spot on the Bay holiday village with nice patio for warmer weather and ideally situated with the amenities just across the road. A short walking distance from the lovely beach and plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. The owners communication was excellent prior and during the stay . We enjoyed our short break in the Autumn sunshine, thank you.

REALY ENJOYED THE 3 NIGHT BREAK WE HAVE STAYED IN THIS PROPERTY BEFORE THE REFERB WAS A GOOD ADDITION NICE AND CLEAN EVERY THING YOU COULD WISH FOR EXCCERLENT STAY HIGHLY RECOMENDED

Lovely Hideaway

Stayed at the Hideaway for 3 nights in August. Even though it is directly opposite the pub there was no noise. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything you need. The location was great, close to beach access and amenities. There is plenty of parking close by too.Communication with the owner was great throughout the process. Would definitely stay again.

We had a very enjoyable stay

This was perfect for our four night stay by the beach. The house is well appointed to a good standard. My husband and I had a very comfortable stay with our cockapoo. It’s right opposite the site’s pub, restaurant, chemist and shop. The gym is also close by and very convenient. We didn’t use the pool, so can’t comment on that. I would recommend accommodation.

Comfy stay

The apartment is in a good location and not noisy even though it’s opposite the pub. Perfect size for a couple and a small dog. Comfy bed and living area. Kitchen is well equipped. Nicely decorated with a spacious walk in shower. Like the early check in time (3pm) and later check out time (11am). All in all a lovely stay. Would book again.

Great short break in the Bay

We've stayed at The Bay many times, but the first time in an apartment. The apartment was lovely and had everything we needed. It was clean, tidy and had a great shower. It is very central, across from the pub and leisure facilities. Although there isn't dedicated parking for this property, we were able to park very close by, so this wasn't a problem. As usual, Paula made the booking process very easy. Thank you.

Hideaway at the Bay Filey

We had a wonderful stay at **The Hideaway at The Bay, Filey. The property was beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing dog friendly break. It felt very comfortable and homely from the moment we arrived. The location is excellent, with parking available and just a short walk to the stunning beach. It's also close to the on-site amenities, making it a great base for exploring the area or simply relaxing. We especially enjoyed peaceful walks along the beach and found The Bay to be a lovely, quiet place to unwind. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and would happily recommend The Hideaway to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-equipped place to stay in Filey. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

A visit to the Hideaway

Me and the dogs had a lovely few days at the Hideaway. The weather was glorious so lovely walks on the beach and cliffs. The Hideaway is very cosy, clean and comfortable.

Fantastic ground floor appartment

Hideaway was a perfect accomodation for my partner and myself as my partner needs it to be accessible due to him having a stroke. We immediately knew when entering that it was perfect. The appartment was immaculate comfortable and homely. All the amenities were in walking distance for us which was a bonus we will definitely be returning

A Perfect Stay!

Really high and apartment beautifully presented and in the perfect location. It had everything we needed and we were surprised Just how much attention to detail I’ve been put into making this apartment such a lovely place to stay. The host was brilliant to deal with gave us all the information we needed checked in on us and would highly recommend staying here. We have actually booked again!

Holiday

Loved it just a shame it’s getting more expensive to stay we wanted it again next year but gone up again .Fab place near all the amenities just across the road .lovely walk to Filey on the beach took us 45 mins then at the end lovely coffee stop

Lovely apartment

Lovely apartment, perfect for a couple and small dogs. Great location opposite the pub etc but still quiet. Love the Bay and would certainly stay in Hideaway again..( could do with a doormat at the back for wet weather.)

A Lovely Apartment

The Hideaway is a lovely apartment,very modern and immaculate,everything you need. The only criticism we have is the shower unit is very good and large, except for people with poor mobility,there should be some grab rails in the unit as it is difficult getting in and out. Would certainly recommend this apartment and we hope to go again.

Thanks for the review. The shower was designed with the lowest possible step to get in at only around 4 inches but we will see what can be done to improve entry and exit. We do have other properties with wet room showers or lower trays.

Loved this accommodation can not fault Great location Felt very comfortable home from home everything was available and easy to use took advantage of the washing machine Sitting patio area felt secluded and peaceful Bigger than it looks from the outside no issues with parking Enjoyed the complimentary goodies Definitely recommend and would stay again Thankyou

October Break

Stayed for 3 nights at the Hideaway on The Bay. The one bedroom apartment was ideal for what we wanted. It was very clean, extremely well furnished, in pristine condition and dog friendly. The location of the Hideaway on the Bay was also very good and we had no problem finding a parking space. Even though it is opposite the pub you don’t hear any noise and it is in an ideal location for the shop and a short walk to the beach path. We hope to return at some point in the future.

A beautiful apartment for a relaxing break

We have stayed at The Bay before but this was the first time at The Hideaway. It has recently been fully refurbished to a very high standard and beautifully decorated. It's very clean and well kitted out with some thoughtful extras. We were able to park just across the road for the duration of our stay and the location is very convenient for all the amenities, the path to the beach and the grassy areas for dog walks. I even managed an early walk to the beach to catch the sun rise over the sea! We enjoyed a walk along the beach to Filey for lunch and a browse in the shops. There are plenty of places to eat and many that welcome dogs.

Winter break

I arrived at the Hideaway and was able to park right opposite the entrance to unload. I was pleased to find the accommodation wonderfully clean, compact but extremely well equipped and furnished. All the equipment was easy to use and the central heating was on with instructions detailing how to use. As we had a very cold spell with snow it was great to be able to come home to a warm space and to be able to dry wet coats. The appartment was well situated to access all amenities such as pub, shop etc, though not noisy. The bedroom has french doors to a small patio area should you be blessed with good weather, a lovely comfortable bed with pristine bedding. I was very satisfied with everything.

A real home from home

The Hideaway was a lovely apartment - we’ve stayed in apartments before on the Bay and this was definitely the best so far. The apartment was in an excellent location - close to the pub and other amenities. Even though we were right by the pub, we were not disturbed by noise or traffic. The apartment had everything we needed and we cannot thank Paula enough for being on hand to answer any questions we had. We really liked the library of books in the living room and the inclusion of games, magazines and jigsaws. The bed was really comfortable - as was the sofa in the living room. The decor was modern and stylish - really complimenting the seaside location. I love the fact that this was a ground floor apartment and there was a table and chairs outside for us to enjoy the sunshine. All in all, we would 100% return in the future and would recommend to all.
