We greatly enjoyed our stay in The Barn.

We greatly enjoyed our stay in The Barn. It is a comfortable blend of period building and modern facilities and we found that, along with the warm welcome, the owners have provided everything needed to make it a home from home. The location is rural and quiet, there are two pubs within walking distance, and short drives take you to Oxford, Burford, Stow-on-the-Wold and other Cotswold destinations.

An absolutely lovely and well equipped accommodation that steps you back from the busy modern way of life. A great place to disconnect from the world, with a good selection of local pubs with a good number of walks on the door step. The hosts are fantastic, a small issue was resolved with no hassle at all and in no time at all.Would definitely go back again!

Aspectos positivos: Limpieza, servicios, instalaciones y estado del alojamiento y comunicación
This is a beautiful little cottage surrounded by lovely gardens. It was a bit difficult to find at first but, in a way, that adds to its charm. The welcome basket of treats and fruit was a nice touch. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, cooking utensils, dishes and cutlery. Having some basic groceries was especially appreciated as we arrived late and grocery stores were a bit of a distance away and may have been closed. We also enjoyed the use of the BBQ. The cottage was nice and clean when we arrived. It has one room with a queen-sized bed (not king-sized as in the ad) and another with two twin beds. The room with the queen bed is only quartered off by a curtain. There was also a small study, a dining room and living room equipped with a TV (although I could not always access channels due to multiple users.) There are two bathrooms: one with a shower and the other with a longer than standard bathtub. If you require privacy from others with whom you share the cottage, this may not be for you. The bathroom doors cannot be locked and the second bathroom has a low wall and door that provides visibility to the toilet and tub from the stairs. (I mentioned this issue to the owners who agree to look for a solution.) The WiFi is good but internet data access is sketchy because of the remote location of the cottage. Shopping is available in the town of Witney an about 11 minutes drive away. In all, we enjoyed our stay (after making some adjustments for increased privacy).
