1 Camperdown Lodge is single-storey and consists of a kitchen/diner with electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, slimline dishwasher, and dining seating for four, and there is a sitting room with TV. The bedrooms consist of a king-size with en-suite shower room, and a twin, serviced by a bathroom with bath, shower over, basin, heated towel rail and WC. Outside there is a front non-enclosed lawn and rear enclosed patio with barbecue and furniture, plus roadside parking. Within 1 mile or less you will find a shop, a pub and a beach, and please note this is a smoke-free property. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Highchair and travel cot available. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels included in the rent. Explore the coast and countryside of Devon with a stay at 1 Camperdown Lodge. Note: Access shared with neighbouring property. Town: Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe you must take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking, including the South West Coast path.
