Welcome to Puddle Duck Cottage - part of The Bay Filey Holiday Village and ideal for all year round family holidays!

Cosy Coastal Cottage - ideal for couples or a growing family with children

Enter into the airy hallway with storage for all your essentials and access to the downstairs cloak / WC.

Walk through into the large open plan L shaped lounge with corner sofa, Large SMART TV, dining room (sits 4) and fully fitted kitchen including dishwasher, washer/dryer etc. and new fridge freezer

Upstairs the property comprises of 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom with a large family bathroom complete with bath and overhead rainfall shower.

Off the lounge area are French doors open onto a private furnished patio, surrounded by large, shared garden and landscaped grounds.

Travel Cot and High Chair are available for use free of charge (own bedding required).

We leave a few games for our guests to use. This warm and cosy house is ideal for breaks all year round.

Beautiful cottage

Very quiet and cozy home from home. Loved it and rebooked. We have 3 cottages for all our family every year for us all to get together and it's perfect for our dog family's.

Puddleduck is a lovely property. Not a bad word to say about it. Clean, modern and provided everything we needed for a lovely holiday. Dog friendly. Great location to travel around. Will be booking another stay there in the future.

Home from home

What can I say, absolutely beautiful stay at Puddleduck cottage. We had everything we needed to make the most out of our stay, Our little dog Olive loved every minute of it with us. Two minor things to mention- the parking was like a free for all,my husband has respiratory issues and on a couple of occasions we had to park a lot further away. The other thing was the hoover was absolutely full to the brim obviously no-one had ever emptied it.Thank you so much we will be back.

Puddleduck cottage

A second visit to this lovely cottage. Nicely furnished and very well equipped kitchen. Close to the entrance of The Bay so nice and quiet. Would highly recommend and will be back.

A clean, comfortable cottage, plenty of cutlery and crockery for family of four. Situated near the entrance of the park, so suited for people not frightened of a walk to the xx beach.

Excellent holiday cottage

We visited Puddleduck Cottage for a few days over the Easter break and loved it! The cottage is very welcoming with lovely homely decor and very comfortable. The location is perfect, especially for a lovely beach walk into Filey with the dog. The Bay has great facilities, aswell as Filey within walking distance or by bus, so you don't need to drive anywhere. We will definitely be coming back!

A beautifully furnished cottage. Spotlessly clean. Everything you could need …crockery etc., Very comfy beds and quality bed linen and towels. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay here again. A credit to the owners.

Excellent Stay

Lovely cottage on a lovely well maintained site . We booked this last minute as we had an overseas holiday booked but could not go through illness . Very Cosy and clean . Anthony was very helpful when needed . Will return at some point in the future Service from booking to leaving was excellent .

Short break at Puddleduck cottage

We have had a lovely stay at the cottage and can highly recommend. The cottage is very nicely decorated and extremely comfortable. Second visit to The Bay with Anchor holidays and extremely happy with the service they provide, will definitely book with them again. Perfect location for us and our dogs. Would mention the shower curtain in the bathroom does need changing due to marks and stains on the bottom.

Puddleduck Cottage

The cottage is beautiful and has everything you need for a self catering holiday. Our only complaint was being able to take a shower as we had to climb into the bath, it could do with a grab rail and a small shelf for your shampoo.

Lovely stay

We had a lovely stay at Puddleduck Cottage, the attention to detail ‘ducks’ from the owners was wonderful and very cute. Very well stocked kitchen and a hoover that was fab (always a bonus) The area was lovely with the small communal gardens where the kids were safe and made friends with the neighbours. The only thing I would have liked was more coverage on the windows as the blinds let in a lot of light very early during the summer months.

A short break at Puddle Duck.

Myself and my wife had a three night break here in July 2025. The property is easy to locate with parking directly out front. The property was in exceptionally clean condition, well done the cleaning staff. A large bath has a very good shower over it. There is a fully fitted kitchen which as we ate out we never used. Outside of the French doors there is a picnic bench for your private use. We never used the site facilities so cannot comment on them. Access to Filey beach is available via a rather steep path which may be difficult for the less mobile. We ate at the Gap cafe which is a thirty minute walk along the beach and does a good full English. I can also recommend the pies at the Piebald Inn a bit pricey but really tasty.

Comfortable midweek break

We had a great break in Puddle Duck Cottage. Well positioned for the delights of the Yorkshire coast.. Comfortable and homely. Note :- The cottage would benefit from having a velux pole for the roof light to give added ventilation when showering. The bathroom fan did not function even though the power was switched on above the bathroom door
