Somos "lugareños" en Emerald Isle y nos complace hospedarte en nuestra acogedora casa frente al mar, Sea Star. Si usted está buscando una escapada romántica, un divertido lugar de reunión para la familia, o un destino de pesca emocionante, Sea Star es el lugar para estar! Esta hermosa casa de mar cuenta con dos lados separados para las familias individuales, o puede reservar ambos lados para grupos grandes!

Cada lado duerme a 9 huéspedes en 4 dormitorios espaciosos, y cada lado tiene dos baños completos, uno abajo y uno arriba. The location of the home is outstanding. With direct beach access, it’s hard to imagine a better spot to enjoy the natural beauty of Emerald Isle. The view is the major highlight.However, the condition of the home and the overall guest experience left much to be desired. We found the property in need of a thorough cleaning. There was sand throughout the house, food and debris in the couch cushions, dirty curtains, and dead insects in the tub and under the beds. Structural concerns were also noticeable, including slanted floors in the kitchen and stairwell, which made walking feel unsteady.We informed the owner about the cleanliness issues early in our stay. Unfortunately, after we left, we were surprised to be accused of damaging the downstairs tub which we did not do. The owner retained our security deposit and charged our credit card anyway, which was especially frustrating after our attempt to be communicative and respectful guests.Prospective renters should also be aware that the home contains numerous posted rules and warnings about fines for certain actions. While we understand the importance of house rules, the quantity and tone of these notices made the environment feel more restrictive than welcoming.We hope the owner takes these concerns seriously, as this property has potential. Future guests may want to proceed with caution and document everything carefully.

Fun at Seastar W

We really enjoyed our stay. Actually it was the perfect getaway.It was furnished with everything we needed. I liked the "pay it forward basket" touch. We met Max, who was a delightful host. He replaced the older coffee maker with a new one. He was so kind and hospitable. The duplex was very clean. Definitely a place I would stay again and recommend.

Our stay on Emerald Island was wonderful. There are lots of fun things to do in addition to walking the beautiful beach. Our stay was made perfect by staying at Sea Star. The home is very clean and the location on the beach is perfect. The host was very very helpful. We absolutely highly recommended staying at the Sea Star! We will go back!cclean

Relaxing!

Very clean and perfect for our needs; nice and comfortable. Right on the beach, quiet, uncrowded. Good food and shopping only 2-3 miles away. Hosts were very communicative. Check in was super easy.

Exactly what we needed!

Sea Star is a wonderful properity, with excellent hosts. The location is really incredible, on the beach in 1 minute, great views at night with the multiple decks. It's exactly as described in the posting, very clean, everything you need is there. The owners do a wonderful job communicating before during, and after your stay. We look forward to returning.

Great experience

We enjoyed our time at Sea Star - everything was as described and in good shape. Location on the beach is terrific, and it's convenient to various island amenities. Beds were comfortable and the 'in case you forgot something" basket in the downstairs bathroom was a nice touch. The owner was very communicative, responded quickly to questions, and provided guests with helpful information about the area.

Amazing Great Views

Had a wonderful time staying here! I love Emerald Isle and this property was great! The owners were wonderful to work with and you can't beat being on the Oceanfront with the great views and relaxing atmosphere.

Sea Star West

We had a wonderful time staying in Sea Star West! We loved the private beach access, the kids loved the beach toys that were available to them, the fresh water hose and shower were especially helpful! Beach chairs were also available. We enjoyed meeting the owner and his family who happened to be on the East side! The arrival treat was very welcome and appreciated on the hot day! When we arrived late in the day there were no linens or towels and were to be provided since we were renting for 7 days. We called the owner and with that one phone call we had delivery of them within 20 minutes. The outside deck spaces were ample and seating was plentiful. Unit was well decorated.

Wonderful Beach House for multi-generation family stay!

The beach house was very clean with a well stocked kitchen. The storage room under the house full of beach toys, chairs, games, and an umbrella was a pleasant surprise. We made good use of the laundry room and grill. Overall a lovely property in a very quiet stretch of EI but still only a quick drive to the restaurants and stores.

Wonderful Property

This property is clean, spacious, and is steps from the beach. We loved being able to just run back inside to grab something we forgot or step back onto the deck to eat some lunch. The beach itself is not crowded and lovely. The location is convenient - close to any stores you would want. The laundry schedule makes sharing the laundry with the other unit extremely easy. There are tons of toys and chairs and anything you could want in the storage area. There is ample seating and good wifi so when it rained one afternoon, we all had a good time hanging out in the living room. The hosts are extremely kind and gracious. They are very responsive to any questions you might have. There is a checkout list that makes wrapping up your trip a breeze. The only reason we may not return to this property is that the beds were way too firm for anyone in our group. No one slept very well because we are not used to that level of firmness. We ended up putting blankets underneath us to cushion it a bit but it wasn't enough. It seems as though most people in the reviews don't have that problem so if firm beds don't bother you - definitely book this property, it is wonderful!

Wonderful first visit to EI!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Emerald Isle and that was largely due to this great property. The house is very clean and well maintained. The oceanfront location is fantastic! Max was great at answering questions and keeping us informed so that all logistics went smoothly. And Max thanks so much for special treat.

Amazing views

I treated my high school aged kids and a few friends to a spring break trip and this was the perfect home! Open living, dining and kitchen gave us plenty of space to move about and still be together. Waking up to unobstructed views of the beach and water was a nice perk. Home was clean and comfortable.

Easter Sunrise was awesome!

We enjoyed our stay over spring break! The grandsons loved visiting the Aquarium and even a couple quick dips in the chilly Atlantic. Easter sunrise was breathtaking from the deck. Well appointed vacation home!

Wonderful to stay on the ocean front!

Everything was great. Had a wonderful time. The only issue was the stairs for our youngest. The house was clean, very well furnished with everything we needed. Plenty of dishes, pots and pans, and silverware for 8 -10 people. A/C and all appliances worked great. We only did a 5 day stay so we brought our own towels and sheets instead of renting which worked out fine. Loved sitting out on the deck or balcony just watching and listening to the ocean. No issues what so ever. A great memorable stay! Thank you!
