Servicio de telefonía e internet
Debido a que esta es una montaña, el servicio de telefonía celular de la región es irregular. Wifi está disponible como dsl de alta velocidad solamente. La propiedad está fuera de un camino de tierra mantenido ciudad y tiene un camino privado de tierra. Mientras que el pueblo y nosotros hacemos todo lo posible por mantenerlo arado, lijado y salado en el invierno, las ráfagas de nieve son comunes y pueden cubrir rápidamente el camino y la carretera haciéndolos resbaladizos. Se recomienda el uso de al menos un vehículo con tracción en las cuatro ruedas. Los automóviles se pueden estacionar en la parte superior de la carretera y, si es necesario, puede transportar a los huéspedes en un corto trayecto en automóvil privado.

This house was beautiful and cozy, with plenty of room. Bring duraflames for the fireplace! Also, the driveway is quite steep, be sure you have AWD, if youre there in the winter months. We'll be back!!

Gore Ski Trip

We loved are stay. We found the house to be very clean and spacious with plenty of sleeping options. We enjoyed the close proximity to Gore Mountain. We would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful stay

We had a fantastic stay at the cabin by Gore Mountain! The place was clean and offered the perfect sense of seclusion we were looking for. We were pleasantly surprised by how spacious it was, making our time there even more enjoyable. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy for us to whip up meals together. Plus, being so close to Gore Mountain was a huge bonus, allowing us to hit the slopes with ease. Overall, a wonderful getaway that we can’t wait to revisit!

Fantastic Getaway

The house is on a beautiful piece of property, and the house was great - two spacious living rooms made it great for adults and kids to both have their own spaces, but also to spend time together. All in all, a wonderful stay!

Great stay in North Creek!!

Our ski group had a great stay at Gale and Tom’s property! Conveniently located to Gore Mountain, local restaurants. The home itself is beautiful, kitchen has all that you need to prepare meals at the home. Gale was very responsive and kind leading up, throughout and following our stay. We would definitely stay again!

Awesome property next to Gore

The house was excellent. I had 7 adults 23-57. 2 kids and a black lab. The sleeping arrangements were perfect! Comfortable -and the great room was a great place to settle after a day of skiing. Gale is a great host -she check on me via text upon arrival. The property is amazing -we will be back.

Great Get-Away

Our kids and grandkids all meet up with us each February to ski Gore Mt. The cabin was perfect. The kids declared the hosts “so generous!!” as they leave snacks and a hot cocoa bar. The owner was accessible and responsive. Our poodles were welcome and we did not have to worry about their safety as we were waaaay off the beaten path!

We had a wonderful and comfortable stay The house was perfect for us, we were 11 people and did not feel cramped at all. The grounds are beautiful as well. The host was easy to get a hold of, no issues!

A Spectacular Experience!

Our family came to the Adirondacks to experience the 2024 eclipse. This top notch home made our weekend amazing. The amenities are terrific; everything that we needed was at our fingertips. A very clean home that was beautifully appointed. The deck adds to the outdoor experience for star gazing. We would highly recommend this home to others looking to have a special family time!

It’s a beautiful, large home in a quiet, wooded area. Perfect for a large family.

We had a wonderful time with the whole family, sitting by the fire, playing games and reading. There was a good 6 inches of snow that fell Friday night in to Saturday which made it that much more beautiful. We hiked a little in the area and walked the dirt snow covered road down to the main road which was a hike in itself. We will definitely consider returning again. It was a memorable weekend. Thank you!!

Stunning getaway in the ADK

The home and property are absolutely fantastic! We decided to take a very quick, last minute trip consisting of 3 adults and 10 children. So thankful to have decided on this property! Beautiful view of the mountains; the house is a *perfect* mountain home with enough space for a small crowd & has all the things you need to carry on as if you were at home 💗; even the road is a refreshing getaway itself...I could go on and on about how wonderful it was! On top of that, Gale was a terrific host and an excellent communicator! Would highly recommend staying at this stunning getaway!

Great spot for family retreat

We gathered at the lodge to celebrate Easter. Even though we had some chilly weather and flurries, the lodge was a great base for all our adventures and we were able to come home and warm up in front of the hearth. Plenty of space indoors and out for kids to play.

Great for Ski Trip

Great lodge-type house very convenient to Gore, just a couple minute drive to Gore. Modern interior, great living area with big windows and a view of Gore Peak! Everything you need. Unless you want the Ritz-Carlton, you will find it hard to find anything to complain about here. Very close to Gas / convenience and Basil and Wick's restaurant. Wi-Fi not the greatest but hey, you are in the mountains, and are supposed to be skiing anyway. Also, bring your 4 wheel or all wheel drive for the driveway in the winter. Other than that this place is awesome, hope to be back. Owner great to work with and helpful.

Great getaway house!

The house is beautiful! It is secluded enough for some privacy but just a good drive from fun activities with family and friends! The homeowner, Gale, was always quick to answer any questions we had before during and after our trip. I would highly recommend this home to a family or larger group of people looking to get away!

Family get together

My family from Ottawa Canada and New York city met at the Cottage. Had lots of rooms with 3 bathrooms and a huge kitchen. One rainy day we watch movie with my 5 Grandkids. We went to 6 Flags park and had a Blast. Then we went to 2 different beaches and had a great time in the water and just having fun with our family. This cottage is a great place in the woods. Had a great fire pit so at night we sat around telling jokes and stories. Highly recommend this cottage for a big family. Lots of space and beds. The housekeeping was great when we came I n. Awesome cabin, very clean with modern amenities

It was the perfect cabin for our group of 11. We really enjoyed our stay in this home. It has a good mix of Adirondack style with modern amenities. There was plenty of room for sleeping, cooking, eating, playing games and just hanging out!! Gale made everything extremely easy and we had no problems all weekend.

Great First Experieince

The owner was very accommodating and helpful with suggestions about what to do and where to go in the area. This was a family vacation with adult children and we made alot of good memories. We were close to Lake George and enjoyed the town and boating on the lake.

My husband, sons and I always dreamed of owning a house in the mountains. We are a family that enjoys the outdoors including activities like skiing, fishing, hiking, riding ATVs, snowmobiling and more. An ideal vacation for us would be bringing our whole family to a fun destination so all three generations get quality and relaxing time together. As three busy families, we truly appreciate dialing it back in the mountains!

We were looking for a room with a view when we found this property totally by accident! Walking down the road while staying with a friend, my husband saw a piece of wood in the road. He picked it up and it said FOR SALE! Just a few days later, we owned 10 acres and within a year we began construction on our home. Since 2004, we have enjoyed our time there and now we hope to share it with others.

The home is nestled on a mountainside, very private and close to nature. Yet, in just a couple of miles, is just about anything you might want to do in the Adirondacks. In the summer, hiking, shopping, sightseeing, railbiking, zipling, fishing, boating, swimming and more. In the winter add skiing, snowmobiling, tubing and more to the list.
