Roomy clean and comfortable

The house was clean and comfortable - accommodated all 16 of my family members. The pool was fantastic and the homeowner responded rapidly to communications.

Overall, this was spacious and in a good location. The pool was great, the house was mostly comfortable and it was generally clean, except for what appeared to be water damage and possibly mold in some of the bedrooms. We were locked out of the house at one point and were unable to reach the host/they did not respond to our messages promptly. They did kindly return an item that was left at the property, in a timely manner.

Very nice secluded private area

Plenty of room for all of us three bathrooms was very nice and accommodating. We had a wedding not far away and worked out great.

50th Birthday Getaway

What an amazing place to stay, was pleasantly surprised at how much the home had to offer with the upper and lower level there was plenty of room for the family to move about and not be on top of each other. The pool was amazing too, the property owners were great and very efficient the one time we had a question they were right there to help us out. Definitely a place we will come back to next year. Thank you for sharing your home with us, we really appreciate it

We spent a weekend with our kids and grandkids. The house was large and clean. We were 9 adults and 5 kids. We enjoyed the pool, and spending time together. Highly recommend this property! Thank you Glenda.

Lake George

We really enjoyed the openness of our rental. It had adequate bedrooms and family space for all of us and kids. Great above ground pool, swing set for kids. I would recommend this property for family’s. It is so close to Lake George, but far enough away for a quiet family retreat. Our owners were very attentive. Thank you so much👍

Lake grorge

Doors were all unlocked when we arrived. One door was actually open. Locking the front door with code did not work. The home had a musty,damp odor. Beds were not comfortable. There was an infestation of tiny black bugs. Kitchen faucet was broken making it difficult to use. Pool water was green. Pool table and most toys were broken. The size was perfect for our family.

Great house for extended family!

Six bedrooms with three full bathrooms and beds for 16 - house is much larger inside than it appears from outside. Pool was fantastic, everything was fine! No basic cooking supplies like salt, pepper, ketsup, so be sure to bring everything you need. Plenty of towels, pool towels and sheets/blankets, though! Nice driveway/parking, stairs and ramp a challenge for mobility impaired persons.

Perfect gateway for families

Us along with 2 other families (11 ppl) rented this property for 3 nights to spend some time in the Adirondack area for fall and we were so glad we found this! It's located jus a little outside of Warrensburg town, perfect for driving to lake George area or North into the Adirondacks! The house was clean when we entered, very spacious and had everything we needed. The kids enjoyed the play area and the games in the house! We enjoyed using the fire pit and the grill! It was fall and hence we could not use the pool but that would be a great thing for the summer! Glenda was responsive to our messages as well. Overall, really enjoyed our stay at this property.

Horrible experience

Vrbo and the property owner double booked our stay. I had to look for a hotel the night of my trip and had to pay triple the amount. I am waiting for vrbo to get back to me about a refund, doubt I will receive it. But overall horrible experience.

Many issues

The ad said it was two years old, the reality is, it is an old house, but renovated two years ago. The first night when we got there, kids saw a rat zooming down to the bottom of refrigerator in the lower level. They saw again the next two days. The two families originally agreed taken rooms in lower level did not feel comfortable during the whole stay. The second night when we got home, after two normal showers, no hot water. We had to wait for a very long time at the end for adults taking shower. The lower level bath makes very loud and scary noice whenever we use water, no matter sink, shower or toilet. So basically no one wanted to use it after kids went to lower level bed. Owner did take away trash on time though.

Disappointed need improvement

first thing let me start by saying the house is very nice except it has a few flaws that included the dirty pool when try getting in touch with the owner her phone wasn't working and she didn't reply to none of my email. There was 4 fans in the house that wasn't working, no hot water in the basement. There was no running aircondition. The dishwasher was spilling water all over the floor. The last owner of the property show up and was what I consider disrespectful, I understand this is your property but while renting it you shouldn't just pop up and start complaining to my ghest about the noise complain at 4 in the afternoon, then show up again at 10 saying you giving us a second warning when you still haven't reply to our email and we had to clean the house our self. The pool table was missing a stick.overalll the experience was ok a little disappointed and but manageable.

What you see in pictures are NOT what you get

We spent our 5 days July 4th weekend here and the first night we arrived, we found that the floor of one of the bedroom in the basement was all wet. The dishwasher was spilling water all over the floor, and I just read a previous review that another person who rent in June also had the same problem, which means the owner never fix the issue and they pretended they don't know the issue when I notified them. The utility room was flooding with water also, and they told us not to use the sink in the basement kitchen. One of the reason I rent here is having two kitchen in the house but ended up they told us to use the one on the 1st floor only. Another reason we rent here was the pool looks attractive in the picture but the pool was horrible when we arrived, the water was like green and there was a dead frog inside the water. We notified the owner about it but ended up they did not fix it. On the day we left, the owner came in person and told me they just ordered stuffs to fix the pool but unfortunately we left that day so we cannot enjoy the pool. The pool table in the basement is missing one stick and another stick is also broken. I've rented several vacation houses before but this is the only house that will not provide us extra tissue papers in bathroom. Our group is kinda disappointed because we originally think we have a pool and we have two kitchens to use, but ended up we have none. Therefore we requested to check out a little bit late around 2pm on the last day and the owner agree. In addition, I usually receive damage deposit refund automatically after I checked out based on my previous experience. However, this time I did not and I've sent the owner 3 times asking about the damage deposit refund but they did not respond. Besides these, the pictures of the bedrooms and living rooms are okay, just like what you see in picture.

Great Property (few things to note)

My friends and I stayed here for a weekend in Lake George. All in all, this is a beautiful property and the stay was everything we were looking for to have a weekend away. Even with the things I will mention below this was a nice stay for us. The entire inside was renovated. Nice beds/bedrooms, second kitchen area downstairs with pool-table, plenty of room in the living room, good bathrooms and an updated kitchen. There was plenty of space on the deck to hang out and sit. It was nice to have the firepit and the pool was refreshing. Wifi information was provided and easy to find on the table. This property is a bit secluded with only a couple neighbors around on a quiet street. Close to big grocery store and several gas stations very close. Few notes about this property (mostly minor and only one serious). This property and the surrounding area have horrible cell phone service. You have to use wifi for calling and texting but the wifi works great in the property. This property was a bit far from places to order food, some friends had to drive into town to meet up with a pizza delivery guy (not the end of the world but something to note if you order out a lot). I’ve seen people comment about the pool being cold, I would say that is accurate, it was very cold. That said we were at the property when it was 90+ all weekend so we all thought it was great! The pool was very clean. I was surprised not to find any salt, pepper, coffee filters, paper towels, or Lysol wipes. Not that big a deal, but just be ready to buy everything you think you might need (side note: the house had extra soap/toiletries). Serious note,the property adjacent (13 Sweet Road) leaves their dogs outside tied to posts and they barked non-stop (and I mean literally without stopping to breath). To defend this property, this was a fraction of the time we spent outside. Regretfully the communication from the owner was not great. I had messaged, called, texted multiple times leading up to the trip and only got two responses the day before when I asked to check in early and for the door code. I’ve seen the property owner mention they oversee a lot of properties so I can understand running around crazy. We received no check out instructions and nothing was posted in the VRBO portal. We didn’t necessarily need anything (the things above weren’t that tough for us to figure out or remedy) however if you are looking for a property owner that is very responsive, we didn’t experience that.THX!

Stay elsewhere, property manager is dishonest

First, I would like to start by saying that there is truth to every single negative review. We read through the negative reviews and ended up choosing this place because we were booking sort of last minute and it was the only place available that fit all of us. The listing has the incorrect info on the amount of people it sleeps, it shows multiple pictures of the same bedrooms. One of the bedrooms on the lower level had a toddler sized bed. Thankfully we were not at the max number of people so it was still fine for us. The cleanliness is subpar at best, there is dirt in every nook and the master shower is moldy. The basement floor was sticky. Another review mentioned ants which the property manager denied, there definitely are large and small ants everywhere. The pots and pans are rusty and gross. the yard is a dirtpit and the deck gave people splinters. The pool was not clean and freezing cold. The property manager has the worst communication I have seen. I never received check-in instructions and they would not respond to my multiple messages over 3 days, I ended up on the phone with VRBO customer service the entire ride to the location and only after VRBO customer service contacted her did the property manager write back accusing me of never messaging her. It made for a very stressful arrival. When we got there some guy showed up and said he was there to replace mini blinds, we were not told about this and did not feel comfortable letting some strange man into a house full of women and he said he could come back on Sunday when we checked out and we said that was fine. I received a $200 charge 2 weeks after my stay to replace 3 mini blinds. We broke nothing and the blinds throughout the house are cheap plastic $10 blinds. There were no blinds on the master bedroom windows which I assume is what the man came to replace. I messaged the property manager about this and did not get a response so I had to call and spend another hour on the phone with VRBO to open a dispute. We left the house better than we found it, we killed hundreds of ants, started the dishwasher, folded the towels that were in the dryer and started a load of wash to help out the housekeeper. We left all of the floats we used in the pool and paper products we brought with us. This place is expensive and not close to being worth the hassle. The property manager does not respond to any messages once you book and files fraudulent claims against your card.

Beautiful house

the house is beautiful and spacious everything was fine, but I could not contact the owner to ask them some questions, but the cleaning of the kitchen needs to improve a little more! the rest everything is fine!!!
