The Quercia 1 flat is what you are looking for if you want to relax surrounded by nature!
Thanks to its location, it enjoys an optimal climate in any season: in winter, the interior is easily heated thanks to a fireplace in the living room and radiators in every room of the house; in summer, on the other hand, the temperature (both the outside temperature due to the vegetation and the inside temperature) is pleasantly cool (also due to the fact that the structure is very antique) without any need for air conditioning.
In addition, being in an isolated location slightly away from the town centre, it is the perfect destination for those who wish to spend their holidays in absolute peace and tranquillity, breathing fresh air and staying away from city traffic.
The main building, La Casa della Quercia, is also rented in 2 independent flats, Quercia 1 is as follows :
it is located on the first floor of the house, accessed via the external staircase. it runs along a long corridor, interspersed to the right and left by numerous rooms, very large and spacious.
As soon as you enter there is a small entrance hall. Continuing, to the left is a large living room with two sofas, bookcase, TV and fireplace and a view of the oak tree. Opposite the living room is the kitchen, which is quite large and has a dining table with induction cooker, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, Mokka coffee maker and a whole range of appliances and utensils at guests\' disposal.
Beyond the kitchen, on the same side we find the first bathroom, while on the opposite side there is a first bedroom, equipped with a wardrobe, with a double bed and a further sofa/bed, also double.
Opposite is a second double bedroom with an additional single bed and wardrobe. This second room also has a private bathroom.
Both bathrooms are equipped with a washbasin, bidet, toilet and shower.
Finally, at the end of the corridor, right in front of the entrance, there is a small room used as a laundry room. Furthermore, all the windows of the house, as it is open on four sides, offer a splendid view of the park.
In addition, on the ground floor, there is a games room, a common space that can be shared to spend moments of joy and serenity. Inside, guests will find a billiard table with holes and cues, a foosball table and a dartboard for playing darts. This area can be accessed via two separate doors and guests will be provided with keys. Please note that as it is a communal area, if the other flat is rented, other guests will also have access to it.
The house, as can also be seen from the pictures, is completely surrounded by greenery.
A few steps from the flat there are beehives from which an excellent honey is skilfully extracted, of various flavours and totally organic.
All this contributes to giving a taste of what is an experience in total symbiosis with nature and the beauty that only she can offer us and offer you.
The history of this building goes back a long way. Until the middle of the last century, the structure was used as a farmhouse, where a family of farmers lived who also worked the surrounding fields. Later, when the farmers decided to change their house and move to the nearest village, my grandfather, who was the owner at the time, decided to carry out renovation work on the house and make it into two flats, which have been rented out ever since.
Perfect to use as a base from which to visit the region of Tuscany.
