Charming apartment a few meters from a beach with crystal clear waters

The Calarossa apartment is located in the monumental district of the island of Ortigia, directly on the Cala Rossa beach, known for its crystal clear waters, and a few steps from Piazza Duomo, the Fonte Aretusa and the Maniace Castle. In the surrounding area there are the most renowned restaurants and bars. Despite being located in the liveliest area of Ortigia, the apartment is very quiet and you can enjoy a restful sleep listening only to the sound of the waves of the cove below. The apartment is located in a completely renovated building which dates back to the end of the 19th century and consists of two double bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom, a living room with a fully equipped kitchenette and a small study attached to one of the two rooms. The Art Nouveau frescoes of the vaults, the ancient decorated concrete floors and the classic furnishings with some antique pieces give a touch of originality. All rooms are air conditioned and there is wi-fi connection. Equipped with every comfort (TV, wi-fi, hairdryer, fridge with freezer, oven, kettle, coffee machine, linen), the apartment can accommodate up to four people. Paid parking nearby. We will be happy to welcome you from 3pm to 8pm for check-in and give you the keys to your accommodation. If you arrive outside these times, we have a self check-in system. Check out by 10:00 am

Great apartment

Clean , well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds - excellent location - we were travelling with another couple and each had own lovely bathrooms. Would recommend this apartment highly. Only downside is a lot of stairs which was fine with us but might be an issue for those with mobility issues.

Idéalement situé pour un séjour à Syracuse

Situé sur la presqu'île d'Ortigia, au coeur du quartier historique de Syracuse, ce 3 Pièces est une base idéale pour découvrir cette très belle ville et ses alentours. Appartement livré très propre. Très bien agencé pour 2 couples.

Great location, difficult to find

This apartment is literally 10 meters from the water. Unfortunately, it does not have a view, but we weren't in the apartment long enough to worry about it. We walked out the door and were met with an astounding view and were able to walk around the historical center with ease. The place is situated in the historical center which makes it difficult to find. The GPS gets confused whenever we try to find a place in the middle of the old town, so it was not much use. The directions to get to the apartment were confusing and there were not many signs to tell you what street you were on. We finally found one of the parking places that we had been directed to, but had to call and the owner came and got us since we could not figure out where the place was. We later found out the the other parking area is the one that has taxis and buses, so we should have parked there! Unfortunately, I cannot remember the name of the place we should have parked at, so clarify before going. The place itself is absolutely perfect!! It has everything you need and is very clean and cute. We could have stayed here forever!! Be warned, however, that it is on the third floor so keep your luggage light!! I would definitely stay here again for location, price, and quality.

I recommend!

Fantastic location in a beautiful old city. Not too far from a place with a sandy beach too. The owner is very nice and helpful. The apartment has great style-old with all the modern facilities. On the downside, there are a lot of stairs to get to the apartment which with a baby and some heavy suitcases can be a bit tiring. Also, we missed a bath and a few other things like a sharp knife or oven mits. The owner kindly provided us with a high chair and a cot for the baby however. Overally, it was a very pleasant stay!
