Your vacation in the heart of Como, a 5-minute walk from the historic center, will be romantic and unforgettable by staying at LA MANDARDINA DI GIULY!

This lovely attic, personalized with originality by the owner Giuliana, is located on the third floor of a historic building, and is perfect for couples, but also for friends who wish to visit the city on foot and discover the main attractions of Lake Como. The open-space living room is furnished with a comfortable sofa, where you can relax and read a book at the end of the day, and a U-shaped kitchen, complete and equipped with everything you need to prepare lunches and dinners just like at home. Enjoy them on the sliding table in front of the kitchen counter, designed to optimize space!

The bedroom is a double bedroom, and there is a spacious walk-in closet for storing your wardrobe. Concluding the apartment is the modern bathroom with shower, decorated with mosaic tiles.

The apartment has air conditioning, so you can have the right temperature inside even in summer.

ATTENTION: The apartment is on the 3rd floor without elevator!



Quality bedding, towels and a courtesy kit are provided. 

We also leave a gift basket with some necessary items for your first breakfast.

Any commercial activity within the apartment is prohibited.



The apartment has a private parking space in the courtyard, for a fee (5€ per day), TO BE BOOKED ON REQUEST!

By staying at LA MANSARDINA DI GIULY you are a 5-minute walk from the historic center of Como, where you can stroll through its cobblestone streets, stores, bars and restaurants, churches and pretty squares. In 10 minutes you can reach: the famous Piazza Duomo, with its marvelous cathedral (of which you have a splendid glimpse from the apartment) and its Broletto, both worth a visit; Piazza San Fedele, a lovely little square with the Romanesque-style basilica of the same name; Via Vittorio Emanuele, the most renowned shopping street; Piazza Volta, very lively for aperitifs and after-dinner al fresco dining all year round; and Porta Torre, one of the historic entrances to the walled city.

Less than a 15-minute walk takes you to Piazza Cavour, the largest square in Como, in front of which you can take the Navigazione Lago di Como boat and reach the most famous resorts on the lake (Cernobbio, Blevio, Torno, Laglio, Argegno, Menaggio, Bellagio, Varenna).

On foot, or by renting city bikes, you can reach Villa Olmo and its park by taking the picturesque walk from the Hangar, and Villa Geno by riding along the lakefront Viale Geno. At the beginning of Viale Geno is also the Funicular railway station to reach Brunate and its lighthouse, where you can stop for lunch at one of the many restaurants, or continue with a scenic trek to the Lario mountains, with a break at one of the mountain lodges you'll encounter along the way. For trekking lovers, the “Alda Merini” path, which is a part of the Lake Como Poetry Way, starts from “Via Tommaso Grossi” and leads in an hour of intense but scenic ascent to Brunate, passing also by the picturesque Hermitage of San Donato.



How to arrive:

By car, from the A9 motorway take the "Como Centro" exit and set the GPS: in 15 minutes you will reach the apartment building.

By train, from Como San Giovanni station you can take bus No. 5 for 7 stops and get off at "Como, Don Guanella" stop: in 1 minute walk to the apartment. Or you can take from the "S. Rocchetto" stop (4 minutes from Como San Giovanni station) several buses (11, N1, N6, N7, C70, N4) that lead to the center and allow you to get very close to the apartment building.

From Como lago station, walk for 10 minutes to reach the apartment.
