Getaway Cottage on The Bay, Filey. Dog Friendly, Beach, Free Amenities On Site.
Our cottage is two bedroomed, dog friendly and on the beautiful North Yorkshire Coast.
Nestled on an award winning, private holiday estate (The Bay Filey) in a desirable area. The complex facilities are equally as impressive as the coastal location.
You are welcomed into our Cottage via the hallway which has an additional toilet and sink to the main bathroom for guest's convenience. There is an open-plan living area with patio doors that lead onto a patio and grassed area which benefits from all day sun. There is a separate fully stocked kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, full sized fridge freezer and microwave. Upstairs, the cottage has 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king sized bed oak bedroom furniture and the second bedroom has two separate single beds (there is also a travel cot for 1 infant, no cot bedding provided). There is a full size bathroom with bath, overhead shower, wash basin and toilet. The beds in the cottage will be made up for your arrival with white, fresh bed linen. Fresh, white hand and bath towels are also provided, together with Wifi and Leisure Pass at no extra charge. We also accept up to 2 well behaved dogs at no extra charge.

We are Tony and Elaine Loveday, we live and work in Sheffield but try to spend as much time on this coast as possible, it's our happy place! Having visited The Bay, Filey for many years we decided to take the plunge and buy our very own coastal cottage. We took ownership of Getaway Cottage in July 2021.
Elaine has always held office-based positions and is responsible for the management of everything Getaway Cottage based. Tony is an extremely experienced and talented Property Developer, never having to advertise due to word of mouth recommendations and has re-developed properties in the UK and overseas.
We understand how important your break is, whether it be for a weekend, mid-week or longer. Rest assured, we will do everything we possibly can to make your time at our cottage enjoyable, memorable and special. We pride ourselves on the excellent guest experience we provide and are always looking for ways to improve.

We have been visiting this coast for years and found this piece of beach the most beautiful and dog friendly all year round.
It’s a wonderful base to explore nearby Scarborough, Bridlington and Filey and a little further is Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay and the North Yorks Moors. Not to mention Bempton Cliffs and Flamborough Head on our doorstep.
It now holds some very special memories for us and hope that it will help make some for our guests too.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial
When we bought our cottage, we spent a lot of time, effort and money on making the cottage as cozy and user friendly as a holiday let for our valued guests and a second home for us, as owners. It is beautifully decorated and furnished and the grassed area at the back of the property provides all day sun (as long as it makes an appearance 😉).
Whatever the season, you can choose to do as much or as little as you like and The Bay is a lovely, safe and clean environment for all guests.
